Simon thanks for the video. Iv noticed a big change in your story telling & production of your current videos compared to your earlier videos. Looking really slick. I’m totally enjoying them 👍👍👍👍
Awesome video Simon, I love how a location can transform as the light changes. It just goes to show that exploring the place for possible compositions and being persistent is an important aspect of landscape photography. Getting those fantastic images you captured is extra rewarding when you know the location had it’s challenges. Great work mate and I hope you and your family enjoyed the rest of your holiday!👍
Thanks for commenting Andrew, and we did indeed have a fantastic time on the island, enjoying every minute of it!! You are spot on about the persistence and patience required for landscape photography. Once the sun dropped below the horizon, the colours and textures really popped! Only an hour beforehand however, it just didn't make for a great image, I have a few test compositions to prove it :) :) It's also something Julie drilled into me while catching up with her, that being to get to the location early, and wander around looking for compositions, then when the light is right capture them... may sound simple but it's easy to dismiss potential compositions that don't look great due to imperfect lighting at the time. Thanks again, Simon
Marvelous place and some beautiful compositions. I’d love to see what you could do there with a macro and with a wide angle lens, up close and personal with all the colors and textures in the rocks. If you did this a few hours before sunset then those limestone eggs would still be white or creamy.
Cracking images, the rock colouts shouted out for the sunset light.
It is always amazing when the lights up spectacularly. Great images. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome photo once again Simon. Tough place to get a good composition but you nailed it. :)

Cheers Stuart, yes a macro lens would have been great for some detail shots! Something I want to add to my kit :)
