    Hard to understand why you don't have 91.74K additional subscribers Joe.
    I love these videos of yours, you reflect upon so many aspects of these types of tours that I want to learn about.
    Thankyou.

      Thank you Rob, I’m glad you are enjoying the series. I have no understanding how that UA-cam algorithm works, I am probably doing something wrong for it. But I enjoy exploring on the motorbike and filming and editing the stories so it’s a win-win for me.

    Great videos. You talk well into the video too with an engaging personality
    Question about bike: what sorts of speed you cruising on highways ?100kph
    Does the Himalayan vibrate and does it get buffeted a lot by wind and/or oncoming trucks?

    • @freewayproject
      @freewayproject  4 місяці тому

      Thanks mate, glad that you liked it.
      I sit on 110kph if it is a flat HWY, strong headwinds or step hills will reduce the speed. I rarely feel the buffering from tucks unless it is a very strong crosswind that passes the trucks side first.
      I have done 2 reviews on the bike if that helps, the first is at 20,000km and goes over all the details of the bike, the second is a 40,000km and goes over the bike in certain situations. Links below

    Question, how do campers deal with snakes in Tasmania? Or do the snakes kinda stay clear of camp grounds?

    • @freewayproject
      @freewayproject  5 місяців тому

      Snake are way more worried about us than we are of them. Just by walking around they will normally take off as they feel the vibrations in the ground and know we are bigger than them. So when free camping in the bush, being in a cleared area where they don't have things to hide under right next to the tent, moving around while setting up, I keep boots and long pants on until I have sent up (just incase I come across one) . Always and I mean always keep your tent zipped up even if going out of only 3o sections (also prevents spider, scorpions, bugs) and keep your boots in the tent no matter how bad they smell).
      It would be very rare to have a snake come to you tent or camp site.

      It is 411 so only a smaller bike, it doesn't have a lot of horse power but it is tune for low end torque, that's why it is good for exploring getting through hard sections while looking around. There is a newer version (450) being released by the end of the year that will have nearly double the horse power if that's a concern, but I find this bike has enough for what I do.
