I never even thought of the similarity to the energizer bunny until you referenced it. I remember the commercials of the pink bunny banging on the drums being on tv all the time during the 2000s 😂
This movie actually had moments that scared me, which is pretty rare. Plus there was a lot for my husband and I to discuss about it after watching. Definitely worth a watch. Just because some points were predictable, didn’t mean they weren’t effective.
It's really really good - I thought the setting was really effective and great looking, and the supernatural elements were extra eerie because they're unexplained. The bunny is an amazing character on its own!
Worst baby sitting job ever. 😂 Enjoyed this movie and Oddity. Funny the main character was aware of all the increasing red flags with the job and didn't at least try to get paid half up front. 😅
It’s on SHUDDER. I’ve tried watching this at least 3 times. Every time I either doze off or get frustrated after 25 minutes. The “single set” location looks very drab, artificial and CHEAP. Very contrived and boring start, maybe I need to give it another chance. 🤷🏻
Chris I have been trying for the past 5 months to find a way to watch a movie called Red Rooms released in 2023. I’ve heard nothing but praise about the film and that it is an excellent horror/thriller. Have you seen it? Will you be reviewing it? I would love to hear your thoughts and if you do manage to watch it can you tell me how?
It looks like Red Rooms has only received a European release... and not widely. It's been hitting several festivals, so it may not have a global distributor yet... it looks intriguing though, so I'll certainly be on the lookout when it becomes available!
I recently learned what Red Rooms where... Mostly hosted on the dark web. A podcast I listened to explained how horrific they are if actually true. As some still argue there existence as a myth. I imagine they where or are real, but doubt with how crazy the modern world is. Added this film to my list. Thank you.
This was such a fun hidden gem. I saw this last year, and I completely agree about the atmosphere in this film. Awesome review.
The scene in the wall was so messed up! Have you had a chance to see Oddity yet? It's got a visual that is absolutely wrong, but oh so right!!

Love this movie.. such a gem. Scared the crap out of me towards the end lol 😆
That sequence inside the wall with the woman and the hat was a huge NOPE for me!! 🤣😂
Love the Donnie Darko reference! 🤩

Red Rooms is a great psychological thriller; I have the Canadian blu-ray release, which has English subs and can play on both region A + B players.
