I think, that the fact, that a pokemon has ugly design doesn't mean, that it's a bad one. Not every pokemon should be a cutie or badass. Like, not every animal in our world is cute(like deep-water fishes). Pokemon like Garbodor or Bruxish are definitely ugly, but they are still an alright designs.

Looks say a lot about a Pokemon's popularity. That's y Pokemon like Pikachu, greninja, Charizard, Lucario, Cinderace, Toxtricity, Staraptor and Corviknight are beloved by the fans, cos they look cute or awesome and badass. Garboder exists for a reason. Since Unova is based on the USA which has a lot of trash it made sense to make a garbage Pokémon as well as pidgeon Pokémon. I’m just tired of garboder getting insulted on a purposeful design choice

Yeah when I 1st saw it I was more excited to use a psychic/fire than I cared about it's bipedal appearance. I actually felt the 2nd stage was the let down out of the 3 forms and prefer Fennakin and Delphox. I have no idea what everyone was hoping for with a witch inspired psychic/fire fox, but I think they did pretty damn well. Let's not forget, witches aren't cute or cool or sexy looking

I mostly agree with most of these, however I strongly (and respectfully) disagree with your choice on Coalossal. I don't think it's really even that ugly, and I think it's one of Gen 8's best pokemon. Heck, some of the coolest pokemon in general. And I for one think it's a much more fitting and imposing looking design to one that would resemble something more train or machine-looking. As not only is the regular coalossal a more *believable* looking monster/animal that would naturally exist while retaining it's pokemon power. (With it being this sort of dinosaur/kaiju looking creature made of coal that also consumes coal, like a living fossil, but instead of bones it's coals(stones)). But also Gigantamax Coalossal looks like a whole mountain made of coal, again adding to that cool and intimidating kaiju/dinosaur appearance while still being made of coal. And it also has a furnace inside itself, indicating where the source of it's coal/power is found and resembles a locomotive furnace, which adds to the train motif, but it's more believable and a more organic design than either a more or full train pokemon. I hope I made my case reasonable and understandable, thank you.

I remember when I was younger I was genuinely afraid of Delphox, appearance-wise. Like it gave me nightmares. Idk why. I’m fine with that pokemon now lol
I don't like Delphox much, but I think it's not too bad. I feel like there are uglier Psychic type Pokemon. I like Coalossal, Garbodor, Unfezant and Galarian Weezing.
I will have to admit I love Delfox, it is probably the cutest full evolved starter in the Kalos Region however it is the weakest especially comparing it to ASH GREENINJA
Delphox is actually the strongest Kalos starter, counting only their standard playthrough abilities (so no Protean for Greninja). It gets Calm Mind to boost its stats, it has reasonably good defenses unlike Greninja, and it's type combination is nearly unresisted. And Chesnaught is just bad, in most ways.
Garbodor's design isn't even ugly, it's just the idea of garbage that grosses people out, which is dumb to me because it's not like he's actual garbage, he's a drawing. If he was made of dirt, nobody would call him ugly. His design is adorable, and I will mot accept any other opinion.

Delphox is not ugly. I actually think the pokemon is very cool and Fennekin was my fist starter pokemon in X and Y.

Delphox is actually the strongest Kalos starter, counting only their standard playthrough abilities (so no Protean for Greninja). It gets Calm Mind to boost its stats, it has reasonably good defenses unlike Greninja, and it's type combination is nearly unresisted. And Chesnaught is just bad, in most ways.

Iunno, Coalossal might not be that great of a design, but I'm just glad it isn't a literal train. For me, Ambipom, Aromatisse, and Drudigon are repulsive to look at. Also, I find it funny how many fire types made it on the list.

To be fair corsola and cursola's design theme is to look ugly. The original corsola which is a coral that's why it's beautiful. but due to people's actions the corals are getting destroyed and getting ugly, this you have galarian corsola and cursola. they nailed the designs tbh
