Living with this for years after I fractured my iliac crest . I have osteopenia and low bone density and Ehlers danlos wish I could relieve it … years of yoga and gymnastics and working as a sports massage therapist has ruined my joints aged 48 I’m bedbound … thanks again for your info I will continue to do my squats and help strengthen my calves and stomach and hips !
Hi, I have ehlers danlos, and hip impingement, i am from Italy, I would like to have your contact, also by email and ask you a bunch of things, I have a lot of symptoms and I fear for th worst

So sorry to hear. Im also in my 40s and similar situation and experience. . Ex gymnast here too. I really hope things start to make a positive turn soon and improve for you. ❤. Best wishes for healing and better days ahead
My Dr keeps saying I have sciatica. How do I distinguish from that…are the symptoms of sciatica different from FAI? Or what else could it be. I have pain at the origin of my adductors and have limited abduction of one leg.
Very well presented young man! I have a pinched nerve there and am in big pain. I'm going now to pick up celebrx and I'm hoping that helps. I also scrape deep amssage it but nothing seems to help. OUCH.. Do not turn 60!
I have bilateral coxa profunda more advanced to the left with overgrowth of acetabulum, & hip impingment, if i move my leg it clunks, the whole left hip bone hurts, apparently it was seen on an x ray in 2013, i was unaware of this, as i was told at that time my pelvis x ray was satisfactory, well its not satisfactory anymore, im in pain, can this condition cause spine problems? I also have right side l5 nerve root impingment, im awaiting a nerve root block, bulging disc l4/l5 and stenosis i feel it may be connected.
Absolutely it’s probably sciatica… maybe with a herniated disk or…. Forget what it’s called.. hope you’re feeling better I’m Going through hell at the moment.
Hello I think I've developed this during a wide stance deadlift. or sumo deadlift. (not heavy) I did the movement incorrect my pelvic was tilted posterieurly. I felt impingement and my groin was sore for days, I walked like a penguin for 3 days. My groin has never opened up after that. Could this be it?
Over ten years ago I fell badly as I am disabled I have hypermobility and arthritis.my ankle was permanently damaged and I was told by Dr that it will stay bent in so my whole foot Bents in and hurts alot. Over last Yr I been getting bad hip pain on same side and now after tests I have been told I have f.a.i. Did angel cause this? Will it improve? Physio said to put carrier bag on bed and move leg side ways and then knee up and down like you showed.they said operation only 50per cent success and not on nhs.
My orthopedic surgeon says people have this from hips not fully forming after childhood but most people go unnoticed with no issues and usually only show up as an athletic injury though mine is from a car accident. She did say my hips stopped developing which caused the deformity of the joint but the car accident is what caused the actual injury.
Hey I have a question. Can you return playing football (soccer) after the arthroscopy of the hip? Knowing if you have the mixed type. Thanks for your answer and thanks for making this video it really explained a lot🙂
@@BruhMoment-kk2kb Usually an MRI shows it better but xray they can tell if you have the bone spurs that cause it. my physio could tell mine was torn from doing the fai type test by feeling my joints. where are you located?
@@BruhMoment-kk2kb Ah okay. I'm in melbourne aus got looked after well. need a good hip surgeon and physio to help you mate. i know dustin porier ufc fighter had his labral tears fixed maybe thats a good lead? gotta make sure they reshape the bone too
When I observe PT's, the first thing I look at is their own posture. This guy's neck is constantly tilted to the left and this alone will cause symmetry throughout your whole body. With this being said, how can I trust you when you don't act upon your own trade.
Because you don't need to have a perfect skeleton to be a good physio? That's like saying you don't trust a skinny chef cause they don't eat their own food.
@IsaacMorgan98 Practice what you preach. I trust real life experience vs book information. Just because they have the title "Dr." Or "Chef" in their name, doesn't mean they know their stuff. Keep being a sheep who follows everything. Think for yourself.
@DarrkMane I prefer to listen to as many as possible, take what's useful to me and discard what isn't. I've found a lot of success doing this. If you would like to discard information based on the appearance of the individual providing the information then that's definitely one way of doing things. But if listening to as many people as possible then selecting useful info from the pool you've gathered is being a sheep then I'll change my name to Shaun and start bleating at people.

What can I do to help decrease the pain?
For the single leg exercises should we do both legs even if one leg is fine?
would you recommend a inversion table to relieve femoral nerve pain?
God bless you.THANKS for helpful information.I am from Pakistan.

Never seen a theraband put around the knee. Always above or below.
I can barely stand. my left knee and hip are in extreme pain and no one wants to give me something useful. I wonder if the two are connected?

I think they are related because one of my friends hip bone slipped out of socket and his leg started hurting a lot so I think there connected
HEY I HAVE A QUESTION. CAN THESE EXERCISES MAY HELP. THE HERNIATION PIT?
THANKS
Would it be best to avoid a sedentary job (eg sitting in a call centre) with hip impingement?
off course
No a sedentary lifestyle is never the answer. Focus on strengthening the muscles around your hip!
Thanks

Groin strain due to weak adductors? The abductor/adductor machine at the gym may help.
Why valgus position should be avoided can u comment plz....

Yes - most athletes are able to return to sport after rehabilitating from a hip arthroscopy.

During exercise

Would you suggest a surgery or not?
100% or you'll ruin your joint and need a replacement
