My husband bought a 2020 Street Bob a year ago. Added Basanni Radial Sweepers last month. He loves it and so does his 18 year old grandson. Husband is 73. Never too late his philosophy!
I like this one. Video and bike. Some how, your test rides are different than other motovloggers. I seem to get more applicable info from your test rides. Thank you.
Motorman, thanks for the review. Y’all have been going to the Leesburg Bikefest longer than 12 years. I bought my Sportster in February 2005 and watched your show a few months later and bought "Ride Like a Pro" there. The lessons learned in the video have saved my life on more than one occasion. I moved up to the Electra Glide Classic in 2006 and rode both bikes until December 2019 when I traded both in and got the 2020 Street Bob in vivid black. I upgraded and downgraded at the same time. I’ve put 749 miles on her to date and you’re right - about 100 miles is about all you can stand on that stock solo seat. I’ll be looking for a new one in Daytona in March. I added a Stage II torque kit and it’s perfect for cruising the back roads of the Nature Coast just west of Leesburg.
I pick up my Street Bob on the 21st. of December 2020. I submitted a parts list I wanted installed on it before I even picked it up. I got a great deal. This is my 4th Harley and I love the Street Bob! I'm getting a stage one kit with Vance & Hines short stacks. I will always ride solo now. Im also getting forward controls since I'm about 6'.I can't wait to pick it up. The 21st. can't come quick enough. Great bike!
This is my bike. 2019 with only 33 miles on it when I bought it for about 13,000! Can’t beat it! I love it. As a new rider and a fat guy, a smaller bike would have been too small and this is big enough power wise so I won’t get in too much trouble but also big enough where I won’t have to upgrade after a year...or as you said ever! I could see this being my only bike! I am really liking it! Maybe some customization down the road but I am happy with it!
Motorman, I thoroughly enjoy your test rides, as your one of the most objective riders by far! I agree with wanting forward controls. I have them in my 2016 Night Rod Special. I tested one years before with mid controls, and I scraped the pegs. Forward controls for me!
I love my street bob. My son has an Indian bobber, I recommend you ride one if you haven't. I was impressed with it. The Indian is a little cheaper than the street bob, but not enough to make a difference.
I just picked up a 2020 Street Bob in Denim Barracuda Silver with ABS on Friday. Put over 200 miles on it already. I love it like crazy. Getting a stage 1 on it this week too.

did you end up going with the street bob? i'm in the same situation. just got my license and torn between sportster and the new street bobs, but i already know i'm going to be doing a lot of 2 up riding so i'm thinking it will be worth investing in the street bob.
@@stephsandman5473 I didn’t end up with either lol. Got a sweet deal on a Suzuki boulevard C50. But to my understanding, if you’re thinking about any sort of two up riding, definitely go with a softail. If you’re going to be riding mostly two up, I’d recommend going for the Heritage or the sport glide at least.
This test ride video is pretty likeable, you should do more of these. Young friend had one of the older versions, first I had seen one up close, it wasn't much, if any larger than my old Ironhead. I almost bought it from him but two bikes already was enough in my garage.
I was between this bike and the Low Rider (chrome one), went for the Low Rider, a bit more bike for not much more money. Are you going to do a ride review on the regular Low Rider? Thanks Motorman.
I have a 2019. I was considering the Street Bob, Heritage, and Slim. The Sport Glide wasn't even on my radar. After an extended ride, I rode home on a Sport Glide. Cruise, ABS, Bags that aren't that much smaller than tourers, but bigger than the heritage...no brainer.
I have a 19 Street Bob, it’s my daily commuter - rain or shine in Houston. It was the perfect choice for what I need it to do. I’ve done some long trips, with the Mini apes and with Hollywood bars I swapped in, the Hollywood bars are the way to go, much more comfortable and easier to control the bike with - not nearly as tiring with the Hollywood bars either.
Hi Jerry. Got a question. I just bought some practice cones that I'd like to set up. Do you know where I can find drawings of the dimensions and whatnot? Thank you.
