It gets overlooked a lot but speed preempt is amazing on Aversa. She throws out so many debuffs on combat that few ranged units can survive the vantage hit from her. Her speed is sky high to so reaching that threshold is pretty easy.
Seeing the awesome new Fireflood Boost skill along with the great new Squad Seals really makes me want to see a tier 4 Odd/Even Pulse Tie skill. It would be cool if it activated on every turn or even better if it could pulse down more than 1 unit at a time.
Another great video TACHO! I have had Morgan at +10 for a few years now and his resplendent has definitely made me wanna try and make him the best he can be, so this video has given me some good ideas. :)
A red tome that goes with me to every abyssal map is Lyon, he's got Arcane Eclipse, Flare/Ruptured Sky, Close Foil, Special Spiral 4, Atk Smoke 4/Time's Pulse 4 (depending on who else I bring with him on the team), and Mystic Boost 3. He's been working pretty well for the longest time for me. About Morgan, whom I also use very often, I think his best C skill is Panic Smoke 4 (him also being one of it's best users), just because of how his weapon works, but then again, it's not that the other options we have don't work, they're really good as well. I run my fully merged Hilda with Still Water 4, Chill Def/Res 3, Spd/Def Menace and Atk/Res Solo 3. Few mages are able to even scratch her, and the amount of debuffing she does is just unreal for her net damage gain.

As a residential +10 Max Canas user.....now pairing him on a team with B.Robin and Pulse support (askr, Infantry Pulse F.Ninian etc) is really nasty with Special Spiral 4 and Glacies. Because that'll get the Glacies fired off right away, and as long as Robin is around him he can still instant Glacies with it always being on 2 cooldown (or in the case that Robin can't give him Rally Spectrum for some reason, his own refine will bring Glacies down low enough)....... Nifil-Canas Resplendent when??? I need that extra 2 RES lol. Plus dude can pretty much tank a lot of Magic foes (unless they're cutting his own Res down)
I am also a +10 Canas user. The difference is that he's on a Bridal Catria and Brave Chrom team with a speed-stacking build. Brave Chrom provides Null Follow-Up and Bridal Catria enables him to quad. He has been to my go-to answer to many of the save armors. Could consider giving him Special Spiral 4 or Desperation 4. Currently he has ATK/SPD Ideal 4, SPD/RES Tempo, SPD Smoke 4 and Blade Session seal. Oh yeah, speaking of SPD Smoke 4 - it's funny if he ends up gimping the speed stat of some of the in-game speed demons and turns the tables on them by doubling. xD
Hey Tacho we have recently gotten a number of new skills that replace older skills. Could you make a video talking about Passive Skills you could put into a group and talk about the optimal Passive of a type and possible "substitutes" thar are of poorer quality (and why they are worse; I know that seems like it should be self evident, but...)?
Damn Tacho, this video just made me realized I haven't really used Red Mages 😂 outside Brave Lysithea, Aversa and OG Leo that is. I mean do have good ones like Canas and Fallen Julia but my red slot is usually occupied by Sword Infantry (like Marth or Itsuki) or Red Dragon with Distant Counters (like Ena, Nah or Muspell) OG Leo is a pretty interesting case, he spooked my draws to the point got some merges on him but... But that statline is bad. I made him somewhat usable during the Valentine event with the Raorvulture/Menace combo but event that needed Bride Catria's Triangle Attack 🤣 hopefully he will shine with the Arcane Eclipse or another red arcane tome in the future.
Arcane Eclipse really is one of best Arcane Weapons. Why, even a 1-star Sophia can keep up to 5-star +10 units. Good thing the weapon has "guaranteed follow-up", I won't worry about speed check and can equip Spiral 4 instead of QR4.
im a huge robin fan, so when is saw groom robin i was sad... then brave robin happened and now hes pretty decent proccing ruptured every combat. Brave Robin truly does fix a lot of units lol
Hopefully we get a new f2p infantry red mage I actually like soon to give eclipse to. Last one was probably Erk over a year ago, and even then, I’m not really feeling it with him.
Stop it, Tacho. I already have a +10 Summer Byleth, Morgan, Miranda, a +9 Salem, +8 Lysithea, brave Lysithea, Camilla's, Celica and +7 Nyx. I don't need reasons to build more beautiful red mages. I don't care if they're free and I have a bias. I refuse. My new addiction is colorless staff units

Arcane Eclipse makes any red tome viable. Seriously good tome. My Raigh can attest to that.

Hilda is an mvp in my runs. Working on Zephia next. Then hopefully by the time she done we will have another grain horse red cav to work on.

Groom Robin is honestly just waiting for some better skills. He's good, he just needs a way to get passed damage reduction
