I've seen Laeradrs using Miracle + Save, usually a near save. That said, he was heavily supported by the usual suspects (A!Micaiah, B!FRobin, etc.) Just slapping him alone on your defense without any sort or little amounts of help isn't gonna do much for him. Also, it's Laeradr season so he has extra stats at the moment.
This is the first time I'm seeing miracle Ninja Celine. Also I'd argue the fact that you need to know ways to play around his assign decoy effect is more of a point in his favor. Doesn't make him broken, just that I think you're underselling that aspect.
In my interactions with tippy top players; their sentiments seem to be boiled down to "If the character is balanced (aka has counterplay) he sucks". There's like no middleground; either you're busted as fuck with no counterplay and totally toxic or you're MID and a total skip.

Simply put, you wouldn’t make a team that had multiple units with the same defense if it didn’t get around assign decoy, or if assign decoy was irrelevant. A unit having counter play doesn’t make them bad, just not busted.
@@ThermalVoid It's not about the opponent making a mistake, but reducing the universe of possible options and having to consider that all along into team building, which if they haven't, they are gonna be in trouble. Every unit that is making something to obstruct the foe's plays, is contributing to the battle.
The only reason I did AR this season was because of the grails. If it wasn't for that, I never would've touched AR. Just used Sigurd and only do battles that didn't have Felix, Emblem Ike, Emblem Celica Emblem Sigurd, etc.
Flash is what got me this season for sure. Closest I've been to burning all my ladders in months. The Assign Decoy, you can usually work around. Waiting to use my Erika's attuned fodder until we see if there's a new Null C tank on the Winter banner or not though.
One unit saved my butt this season... Ice Tribe Felicia. Her weapon canceling the flash effect was so good... although I did have to move units around to make sure the buff went to the right one.
Funny how they solved Læraor's biggest weakest of AOE with the banner right after. Also, with A.Hector, Læraor, Níðhöggr, all of them with shield fighter are able to easily survive Lucina. I had to pull out L.Chrom, L.Hinoka, and W.Cordelia to deal with them. Kind of screwed if I run into them on Wind/Earth season since my other nukes don't seem to be killing them.
i ran into a miracle n!celine the other day and barely beat the team because she was being supported by h!askr and heiðrun and kept healing above 1hp after combat and with laguz friend + askr’s time’s pulse effect she just kept surviving. if i didn’t have a galeforce team with many people having multiple actions then i would’ve easily lost because of her…
Rune surprised me. Pretty good damage dealer if you add it all up from his kit. He was eliminating bulky units with ease did 100 plus damage to Marni. As long as he can take something out it’s useful to have an extra unit. A great player once said the game is all about action economy and moving spaces lol

Had a (nearly) flawless season this week despite running 3 mythics from 3 different seasons (heidrun - anima, nidhoggr - astra and tree dude - dark). The only team my team lost to (was the 11th battle and was under lift loss control) was specifically Luaa, who's whaled attuned caeda (+9, with +10 team around her and +10 emblem rings equipped) saved everything, taking advantage of the forced save. It was also played/positioned very intelligently, something I'd expect from a known name in feh. Nobody else beat my team (bait or player phase) including attuned timerra. Hector is going to be interesting with his bulwark support and stone tiles for sure. Being blessible he'll likely slot in over nidhoggr after some testing. I'm also curious how hector does as a near save, might replace my gatrie that is starting to struggle a bit (I dont have spare shield fighter) and gatrie also doesnt really provide any support for the team. As for ninja Lucina, she is really bad on defense unless its specifically a dancer trap and she's 7th slot. She depends completely on her assist to get kills, otherwise she's almost zero threat. I'd look into either the new Leila, or a supporting ranged nuke or even just a support in general (I went with aided dagr for canto curb, repo shenanigans, NFU, pathfinder and stats).
I little tip for using D! Fjorm and dont want hardy bearing on her. I know Deflect missile is a very niche seal but it really works well on her. Only units who could kill fjorm are bow or dagger units and Deflect missile even works against miracle builds.
@tacho9427 i knos it Sound wierd, but the only units that kill her (Berni, lucina and ullr) all have only 50% piercing and 40% dr is enough to survive. Also as i said before, it even tanks miracle builds of these units
@@profefortoad Can confirm, been using the shield fighter forma squad and deflect missile has made all but one ninja lucina lose (she had bridal embla support). Getting deadeye to proc specifically on the last hit has to be difficult too, but no one has tried it.
i use b!f!robin with hardy bearing bc i tend to get b!bernie users or people with vantage strategies every so often. so i gave d!fjorm deflect missile and the exact conditions to proc a special and deal enough damage to knock her out is still very rare. people who bring n!lucina still need to use up around 3 actions just to deal with fjorm. i second this comment
I saw a replay of one dude running Desert Altina as the omni tank and while loading up Mythic Altina with Solid Ground to boost her Defense so that Desert Altina gets hit with the Save effect. Interesting counterplay but nothing compared the tactics people are pulling in your replays. Good stuff.
Ninja Celine is honestly a pretty underrated unit I feel like she's geniuley such a good omnitank and her cleansing is pretty helpful too and this miracle ninja Celine build sounds really fun I didn't know about it lol. 👀 But also tree dad is still a menace ofc not same as his purple daughter but the way u need to deal with him requires certain tactics which most feh players don't bother to do haha.
I have been dealing with Tree guy by just using Timerra with Shield Fighter Halloween Nagi. As long as you have a raid boss and a unit that can near save well against BFelix and ESigurd, Tree guy is a non-factor.
so i am running currently around and just put attuned erika out there and because she already has semi low def is she most often hit with the savior effect which is i would say so a buff to her instead of a debuff also if läraðth in the wrong season to do his thing effectively. without penalty cleansing is he just a sitting duck for the new leila who i tested to be as absurd as felix against teams that can't stopp her undefend canto swap out pick and choose who you don't like while breaking traps for free
That attuned Eirika tanking team is a pretty good idea. I have almost all the ingredients to pull it out also. Im mainly a turn1 galeforce player, but with those new omega toxic armors they added its becoming more and more cancerous. So it wouldnt hurt to save the last team slot for a tank-bait team...
How is Hector not dying against Bernie? As with the extra slot I think you can use Rune as the reinforcement and that structure can be stepped on so you wouldn't be missing on one tile to be.
You know, I notice that the more casual players stop playing in AR because of one of two things. One is that almost every defense team has these broken units and they are unable to win in AR anymore. Or two that their broken units on defense gets defeated by older units, they realize that broken units still have weaknesses. I just defeated a Nidhoggr on defense using a Duo Camilla which is a green bow unit against a red beast.
He’s incredibly strong with clear weaknesses and counter play. Be wary of fence + bolt tower since he has a 25% HP weapon. That’s why I stopped using savior on him. If you’re not using Freyr off season then Leila + Hraesvelgr is really hard to contend, same with Bridal Embla. Treeman is the most well designed unit in the game. Powerful but not without drawbacks. I prefer Barricade with 2 separate saviors since gatekeeper in the mythic slot is very nice and him neutralizing the def/res penalties of those saviors is also nice. My Marnie Hector Treeman ARD armor core has been really successful lmao.
Yep, also Nidhöggr > Laeradr in combat, but he's such a cool, unique character as a male dryad :D ...any PoE 2 players here, also struggling to squeeze in time for both games?
My brother in Christ, ... nah jk. Yeah lucina sucks on defense, pretty much no chance of her activating her assist. Laerader does benefit extremely from hectors stones lmao. I still think having barricade and running another nuke instead of gatekeeper is the slightly better play. Especially now with hectors stones and him handing out bulwark you can put laerader and heidrun as frontliners, eliminating the need for near save, but of course that would require some additional changes to your specific defense, since canto curb is almost necessary.
You think FEH players of all players would know, there's more to a character than what their base kits are. 🐀 I don't have Laeradr, so I just take note of how others', specifically my fehtuber's, play them as. Either way, I choose to listen to how someone with more profiency in that certain gamemode does, unless I found my own way to the top, and even then, to each their own. And right now, I understand why you played him this way, if I was in the similar realm of tiers, I would not be able to win, at least without losing someone or half my team. 🐀
Yes, but wait to see what the Christmas banner is first. Hector's banner will still be around by then. Christmas has historically been an armor focused banner
I actually couldn't find a way to beat that defence with any of my existing teams (which are all player phase). I either went ting off Laeradr or I went ting off Hector. 😅 Gotta hate those ninja Celines too 😮 my defence only lost twice in the last month (not counting the Rune-sac play ruining my rank 1 run this week), once to a ninja celine, and once to a double duo sharena 😂

the only thing he killed is the heart of Diamant fans pulling for his ninja alt (need to be in 2 spaces of an ally to get true dr)

Deflect Missile is a little dubious because the DR% from it can be pierced

I got absurdly lucky on the Ninja banner and somehow got Celine to +5 while going to spark Lucina so maybe i should actually try and use her.
