I met Keanu about 6 years ago at the premier of the Matrix movie in NYC. I worked at the movie theater as a make artist and costume designer. The entire night, I saw all the stars in the movie come and go without any of them looking at me or saying hello to me, perhaps because of my color and the cheap uniform 1 had on. For 6 years, I have never forgotten the event that will follow the first few hours after I begun my shift at work that evening. Keanu walked up to me and asked me how I was doing!! I said to myself "are you really talking to me?" Believe it or not, he actually came up to me and showed compassion and care. That was the last thing I ever expected anyone to do that evening. He proceed to ask me about my job and where I come from. And I told him I was from Oregon and have been working at the theater for about a year. He chatted with me for about 5 mins but it felt like forever. He then gave me a hug I will never forget. He is truly a good human being. I don't usually leave comments on YT but this is to confirm this video. Keanu is good❤

Mr. Reeves is, without a doubt, the best celebrity since we lost Robin Williams. We need more people like these two, who are down to earth. Human. Relatable, and above all else, friendly. They don't treat you like you're lesser because of their fame, they treat you like a person. I haven't heard a single bad thing about this actor once. He is an absolute delight to work with and such a brilliant performer. A rare talent.
He's had a lot of tragedy in his life.
People talk about when he worked with River Phoenix and they became brothers instantly. And then he lost River.

There were times when celebrities understood that signing a picture etc. makes the day for the fans. And it is not that much work.
However, today many "fans" are not grateful but demanding. They never stop or they sell signed pictures etc.

We both had cars in the race and we talked about 20 minutes Being such a sought after clebrity with a very busy schedule, I was very grateful that he took the time to talk with a complete stranger. There are tons of friendly, helpful, caring people in the world. But a lot of times if you are NOT famous and you try to help, people will assume you're a creep or you're actually trying to cause trouble.
I have a bunch of tattoos from my time in the military, so the reactions I get from strangers entirely depends on whether I'm dressed in a button-down and slacks or if I'm dressed in a tank top and gym shorts.
I've had families cross the street so that they wouldn't cross paths with me, and I'm a small dude 🙄

He really is a nice guy. my brother was working at a coffee shop and he walked in and ordered a coffee. thankfully my brother recognized him and ask for a picture. we have it hanging in our house to this day. He is honestly a really nice guy in person.

if your child looks up to keanu, that parent should be proud because thats everything most people should inspire to be, not because he is a successful actor but because of the man who he is when off screen and in public.
My favourite thing was an interview that showed how human Reeves is. They were asking about his career, his generosity to crews, his anonymous donations to charity etc, and he looked so awkward and nervous, but he was polite and engaging.
They then asked about his love of motorcycles and Arch, the company he had, at the time, just founded. And his face lit up. I’m a biker myself and so recognised this passion.
The guy doesn’t care about public recognition or praise, he’s just a guy trying to do his best and enjoy his passions and that humbleness is what makes him so great.
He is THE role model on how to be. He’s a “guys guy” with his love of bikes etc, but he is also kind, generous, considerate and just a generally fabulous human being and is in my eyes a literal saint.
