    OKAY Kristina! You are straining my CDO mind! (I have OCD so bad the initials have to be alphabetical). It is beautiful. BUT are you allowed to quilt over the piecing? I have a headache. The quilting is beautiful! I love it!

      I have a bit of that same problem so it was hard for me to quilt over the piecing. I am really happy that I did though. Quilting every single individual piece would have been very overwhelming for both me and those who had to look at the quilt!! (: -Kristina

    I finished quilting this Alaska Quilt but my question is, I sewed the binding on for the customer but how do we handle ironing it to the back without hitting the monofilament thread, won't it melt?

      I used Monopoly from Superior Threads. It doesn't melt as long as you don't use a super high heat. You can also check with Superior Threads to see if they have any other tips for that particular thread.

    How do you handle the binding using monofilament thread, won't it melt?
