- An American Airlines flight in a Boeing 737 landing at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) from the South from Miami. You can clearly see all five boroughs of NYC : Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx along with major attractions such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, World Trade Center, and the Brooklyn Bridge. This was a turbulent flight through many clouds with a rather rough landing on Runway 31.

I remember Turbulance in Atlanta cause an Florida Hurricane was brewing back in 2005 in the Summer.We tailspin from the sky. I elt like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

This Plane exactly flew over Landmarks Of NYC,I Captured: 24:13 Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges, 22:55 Verrazano Narrows Bridge & Ft Hamilton,A great shot of Bay Ridge & Belt Pkwy as well, + Nice neighborhood had the vibes when i stayed in Bensonhurst, 26:24 Queens Center! It seemed pretty routine and a VFR approach. Good ol Laguardia is a bit like landing on an aircraft carrier. Short runways.

rwy 4 is parallel to Manhattan island..the one with all those tall buildings. Rwy 31 requires a 90 degree left turn

If you think that was turbulent, you haven't been on a really turbulent flight. That was pretty damn smooth, with a little bounce at the end.
It was turbulent enough for me
@@ActionKid I guess its a subjective thing. For me the real turbulence is when you can't see the wingtip from a middle or aisle seat. Those wings can flex a good deal, but that's when I start to get concerned. One rule is to always keep that seatbelt snugged up as tightly as you can stand it. I've seen folks fly straight up from their seats into the overhead or the aisle as the drink and snack carts go flying down the aisle to the cockpit door.

There is absolutely NO REASON for ANY pilot to land the jet THAT hard. I've heard the excuse so many times, "it's a short runway, gotta get it on the ground and get it stopped." Blah blah blah, a good pilot with decent stick & rudder skills can do this GENTLY and still get it stopped with much distance to spare.
This was unacceptable. 🤦
