Great to see how you did that, good design. Have you thought about putting another piece of flat iron across the middle underneath and then having a few hooks on top to strap the bikes down in middle to lessen the wobble.
No I did not, I was actually thinking about getting a quick fist for the rear tire but I like your idea for support! So far I’ve put about 1400 miles on it without issues, we definitely want to reinforce it when we can.
OK so you have a full crewcab 4 door. How long is your flatbed and how long is the actual box part of the camper that sets on it? I have an 01 dodge 3500 dually that I am rebuilding. It is the old quadcab design with an 8' bed. Looking at putting a flatbed on it bud wondering if 8' is max or if I can put a 10' flatbed on where an 8' pickup bed was before? Looking forward to the Kingstar flatbed build , also looking at the Alaskan model. Undecided.
We have a 84" CA truck with a 11' flatbed. The camper itself was designed around the 8' beed so that would work perfect for the camper and side storage.
Lol, just seeing this video. Thanks again for all the info. If your ever in the Mammoth area hit us up to ride some bikes.
Awesome video! I found myself laughing multiple times at all those random funny comments. You've got quite a setup there!
Thanks it is definitely a work in progress!
Nice setup, but where did you end up putting the front wheels?
Thanks, they fit perfectly on the side of the slide and we got some reusable zip ties to tie them in to the strut mount so they do not move around.
Very nicely done! Having a Joey Bed (class A term) on a Truck Camper is amazing!
Great to know the term, I was going to call it the dog house just in case I ever make Dee mad… 😂
@@ExploringStillConnected Just read the instructions and she’ll be fine. 😂🤣😉
Nice and tidy! Looks great 👍🏼
Thanks! You all knocked it out of the park with this garage!

Could you share inside and outside dimensions of the garage?
