It's great seeing you and Marcus with another camper build video. KingStar campers are pretty darn impressive; their innovation and attention to detail really are something. Thank you for another top shelf production! Kudos to your videographer, too.
Great looking truck camper. Very capable. Love the metal work. Wood construction for the frame leave me concerned about water damage! Industry is moving away from wood and towards composites.
I like the fact that so far this is the only truck top camper I have seen, and believe me I have been looking for my perfect one and still have not found it, That actually foregoes the stupid black tank to go with the cassette toilet. Which is by far and away above and beyond better than dealing with a black tank, So what if I have to dump it a little bit more often at least there are 10 times more places to dump that thing than having to show up at 1 or 2 places in a big city or every RV park and pay for it. Although I do not like the design of their bathrooms in the king's start I like to have a fully enclosed space that I can close the door on not a curtain rod. I love their solution to the useless Dinette! The garage is amazing edition. As is the backs storage locker. However I do not like the fact that it is not a true 4 season camper if any part of the water line or water jugs are freezing because it gets cold it's definitely not a true Four season! The stainless steel construction is definitely unique to this trailer line the only other campers I see doing it is airstream. But it looks like there are so many scenes that have to be constantly sealed on this thing that that concerns me. Something like a northern light which is just a 2 piece bonded fiberglass shell has far less things to worry about with waterleakage than something like this. Another thing I dislike is how cheap the doors along the outside feel like I'd fall off at a moment's notice cause I looked at them wrong. For hit a bump in the road. What I'm drawn to the most right now is the Cirrus series camper. If they made one with a cassette toilet and got rid of the dinnette in favor of something like king Starr's doing they'd have me sold in a heartbeat. Can I probably add in later on One of those flat bed storage builds specific to truck campers. There's 2 different companies doing it and I cannot for the life of me remember their names off the top of my head.
The one thing I don’t like about these campers is the open hanging rods in lieu of a closet. I do not like my hanging clothes out in the open collecting dust and smells from the kitchen.
Appreciate the constructive criticism, it helps a lot. For 2025 the KRUZR gets a closet door. It can be used as a hanger or storage closet since it has two adjustable or removable shelves.
They may be built nice......but I just can't say anything good about these. The weird broken up floor. Who wants to walk on uneven floors? No thanks. And way too expensive for what it is. I know all the other brands are expensive too.....but I just like them better. My 2 cents.

Thanks Jim! We are always impressed with the new Kingstar offerings !
I love the bed campers but I’d like a cut pass through to the cab my only change so far
They do have the option to add a window on the front, works well with the truck windows and would allow kids and small pets to fit through.

If that change is being made, IMO, you just made this camper outstanding compared to everything else out there.
