The nail for the spring clip is a bear to get back on. The clip has a lot of tension. What helped me was a 6mm socket with an adapter to make it work with a screwdriver. I was able to drive the socket onto the nail and then twist it.
Thank you for a "Brilliant Video", now I have to do the same, I have done this before on an Avensis , be very patient as the demonstrator and you will get there, my advice is use pointed nose vice grips to fit the springs. Thank again.

So if my parking brake cable is seized is this hardware what needs replacing? Or does the cable itself possibly need replacement?
