Few years back one of my guys at Carson pulled his whole interior. Spent another week cleaning and prepping. Had the inside done in colored Line-X. It was sick he ran all his wires in sealed PVC. His gig was water proof truck.
Dude nice I just got an 89 and nothing works electrically but the 318 is in pristine condition I can't wait to build this sucker only paid 1200$ for it
I got a 85 for $1600 the only thing wrong is two spots of rust in front of the rear tires and the speedometer jumps a bit but that's not anything major
Greetings from Siberia. Starting the 5.2 liter v8 engine after a long idle time. First outing (in 8 years) DODGE RAMCHARGER 89-s ua-cam.com/video/ylUNmpZN_N4/v-deo.html
About to drop a cool 1000 on one. 84 ain't as good as 80 for the removal top. I want to know the 203 transfer case years. Can anyone help before I go searching through mounds of info?
I think 1980 was the last year of the 203, maybe 81. I currently own an 84, bought it while on leave from the Army in 06. Have owned a 79 as well. Removable to is cool! The solid roof has it's merits. Bout ready to drop a 6bt under the hood.
I actually gave up. My Ram just needs attention after these years. So one thing before the next. Removable would be cool where I live in AZ. But, the merits for a hard top are easy. Less places to rust, stronger body design, less leaks, less squeaks. Roll bars and specialized tarps take away weight, the noise, increase visibility. Its a juggle. I had a 1973 W200. In the junk yard was a Ram Charger with a perfect body and almost all there. I should have swapped my equipment and dumped the Powerwagon. Those rust hard. My step dad was an ASE MT for Chrysler. He passed. So I don't have my living library anymore. I have only ridden in two RC's. One had a 400 in it. Man I wish I had that. Get the crank from a 383 and the 906 heads. That's a street, trail anything engine if you can handle 15MPG or less. There is one for sale here with a Cummins. Bad ass looking truck. $10,000 is out of my deployments money's reach. Served to and understand the need. Mopar or nothing.
@@Dallas-Rife-UDX-347-Tennessee I found an 83. I am forth owner. Grandpas, then dad's then the son. The son wanted parts for his Cheby and sold me the RC for $1,500. I get lots of compliments driving around. I have an 89 that is a rust free shell and very straight body. Be perfect for someone in the rust belt.
Aaron Sanchez Into the void by what many say is the first heavy metal band, Black Sabbath (yes the band that wrote the Iron Man song), the song in the video is from their thrird 1971 album Master of Reality.
