@@behringer WHERE IS THE REVERBS? Why always something has to go bad something good. Can’t all be good? I like the power cable on this but it has no teverbs.
I came here just to enjoy that instrumental. That bass sounded very good, especially in the low end.
i noticed that too. beefy and not anemic at all.

Those old xenix 12's were an insane deal. 4monos and 4stereos and decent effects for like $89us.
The power supplies were strange old school units and they ran hot, but I still have mine for portable stuff. Now I use a pair of 2442's in my setup (into an M6). The new 12 series mixers all look stripped down and 2x the price. Also klark effects sound worse than the effects on the old 2442 mixer. Imo, reverb #1 on the old 2442 is one of my favorites I ever heard. I love my new mixers, but not the effects.

Happy to see this, I have the non-S version of it and really like it other than it being super hot at all times.

I’ll probably pick one of these up for when I go on vacation and bring a synth or two and a drum machine. I wish they had faders instead of knobs though, even if is slightly bigger and little pricier.
I like those small mixers, though my 1002 was so cramped with cables, it didn't always stay where it stood (because it's so lightweight). And it has heated my studio good for years... it did it's job fine until retirement. You could have three of them and mix 26 channels for under 200 €.
What I am missing badly on the market are mixers, similar to these, but dedicated for keyboardists/synthesists. Every mixer has those preamps we don't need, often XLR only inputs we don't need, phantom power we don't use...but only so few stereo input channels.
I have an Rx1602, which is a little sparse with aux and controls, and an Rx1202, which has too few stereo channels (but nice inserts), and I had to buy for my multitrack-recording-needs an old Alesis HD-24 plus an X1622 mixer. All those mixers are working very well, and I do especially like the Sub channels on the X1622 and the inserts on the Rx1202.
But there are not enough (affordable) products on the market for setups with many synthesizers, grooveboxes and drum machines (which sometimes have more than stereo outputs), not to speak of various Fx gear that you don't want always wired to one instrument.
And maybe I would have bought one of your X32 (though I am a bit overloaded with large lcd screens), if it had combi jacks and the SD record card included (which would cost me as much as the old HD-24 I got).
You know what? Back during the mid-2000s I was looking for an 6-channel+ audio interface with no preamps for those who wanted to write instrumental music with only software synthesizers. In fact, I would rather just use any non-professional sound card if it isn't for ASIO in Windows. At least I can use any sound card (or HDMI audio) in Linux for making music if I have no need for hardware inputs.
Looks like a great mixer, I'm thinking about getting it. I'm wondering, can I connect my guitar straight into one of the line-in inputs? Or do I need a DI Box first to power it?

We need bigger versions of the xenyx my 1202fx was great I love it… I still use it in studio right now I just miss having faders… so a bigger version with faders, 8 xlr inputs, same blue efx screen 🙈 with two/four stereo channels with the same connectivity of the 1202fx would be awesome, usb out too… I’d get that for sure 😬… this looks good too though but two/four more xlr inputs with faders would do it for me I’d upgrade for sure.
@Behringer any plans for a revamp of the SX3242? I LOVE mine but its getting tired now.

I need help with a EuroRack 1622FX Pro mixer I bought years back. For the first time I am trying to connect a compressor via the inserts, which on this 1622FX Pro model, is on the back. The instructions on the manual are quite confusing.
On the back side of the mixer (behind XLRs) has Inserts 1-4 (Pre-Fader; Tip/Send, Ring/Return).
So I'm using 2 mono/TS cables.
- From mixer I plug into Tip/Send, the other end I plug to the effects unit "In."
- From the effect unit, I plug "Out" and to the "Ring/Return" on the mixer.
Now - On the effect unit, when I speak into the mic (channel 1), I do see signal (light meter on); But - for some reason I am not getting audio coming out to speaker AND there is not signal on the board - either channel 1 or the master fader.
What am I missing? Why am I getting signal to the external effects unit when speaking; but noting to the mixer/speakers?
So it is basically the same as the 1202fx except the usb, maybe some of the fx and power switch. Seem like an interesting little console. I would get one but i already have a 1202fx that works fine. Also Behringer, for some reason my 1202fx mixer gets pretty warm. It isn’t too hot to touch but about as warm as some chicken nuggys. Is it ok for it to be that warm? It seems the more I run it the cooler it gets. I got it used.
The 1202fx runs warm/hot yeah, mine is probably 10 years old now and still works great. Been using every week for the last 5 years or so.

Bought this yeaterday. And using it on tiktok live streams. Problem is, people on tiktok boxes chat can hear their own voice bounce back at them. But on my part none. How to fix this? I bought behringer xeynx 1002 sfx. Thx for your help.

Still awaiting for an interface with dual USB-C, combo XLR jacks, SD card to record, midi in and out, portable and can be powered with a powered bank. My wallet is ready when the tech is.

We do love Midas pre-amps but we do stand strongly behind the impressive performance of our XENYX pre's. We can love two things 😅
@@behringer I can understand that. But for the customers who loves the midas preamps also would be great if you guys made a different version of your mixers. And a compressor even on the budget mixers.

If it ain't broke 😉. But in all seriousness we stand by our ultra low noise pre-amps and truly believe they stack up against pre's far beyond the price point of these desks.
@@behringer I understand the point you're making, but you own Midas now. Why not use the same preamps that are in your USB interfaces. They're superior to Xenyx.

We have a lot on the way for you. It may appear to be taking a long time but these products do take a long time to develop. We chose to bring our customers on board a lot earlier on the journey than most companies often would. We know this can make the wait feel painfully long but we truly believe the input we get along the way helps to create the best final product.

Your feedback is strongly noted. We want to ensure we keep our desks affordable and sometimes this can dictate the components we choose. Out of curiosity would you be willing to pay more for a type c connector?
@behringer I think the type B jack is best for this kind of devices. It's sturdy, and the cable doesn't come off easily. Type C is ok, but fragile. Now, on the host side, type A is slowly dying off´at least with laptops. There are also not many type-B-to-C cables in one's arsenal, so a hub or an adapter has to be used.
Btw, this is still USB 2 ? With USB 3 it maybe could be powered by USB (?)

I am afraid you will not be interested Sergio as this is indeed a stereo interface. We do have some desks capable of multitrack recording. Two examples are the XR18 or X32 but we understand these are in a completely different price category.
They claim 0-29 REVERBS! But this unit has no REVERBS.

2442 mixers are the most bang for the buck that I have found for my synths. 8monos and 4stereos for $399. They have 3 effects loops plus some internal effects so you can add any effects chains you want and run any or all 4 in parallel on any or all input channels. I just got a second 2442 and I run both into an usb interface using 4 inputs.
