I started doing nails when I was 18 years old and never stuck to it. Then I became a cake baker for special occasions. I’m officially done with the food business. I’m going back to doing nails and your videos help so much! I’m about to be due with baby #3 any day. I definitely will be taking advantage on picking up where I left off while I’m at home.

Girl you are so right!!! For reals though if you don’t love doing nails then your going to end up hating it. It really does take alot out of you tbh. You are an inspiration to me. I am disabled with Multiple Sclerosis and Addisons Disease. Because I love nails and because it was my career and I abruptly had to quit do to my heath problems! My hubby bought me everything but an airbrush and I have been buying different things I wanted for my collection now I’m just in need of like some gel polishes and maybe some gel liners for my art. I’m stoked and have already made some sets but I wanted to tell you that I truly love your videos and even though I’ve had my nail license for 20-21years I’m doing this to keep going , it relaxes me and helps me when I’m stressed etc. I’m right with you girl, I LOVE NAILS!! I understand the question about pre shape nails. I asked the same question. I think your Enail- Couture nails are longer especially the number 6,7,8,9. If you compare makartt, btartbox, the smaller number nails are shorter. The set your doing the nail length are pretty much the same or very close.

Thank you so much! Yes I did struggle with that until I started buying extra storage on my icloud! I have 2TB of space ( terabites ) its waaaaaaay more than gigabytes and I only pay $2.99 a month for it ! It helps make sure I never run out of storage

I love watching your press on videos! ❤ I’m barley getting into press ons and I love them 🥹 if you do another Q&A my question would be if you by accident get gel polish underneath the press on nail by the cuticle area while polishing it what do you use to clean it up? I’m using 70% alcohol and I clean it up with a brush underneath but I notice that it would leave it with a gray/white film/cast in that area I cleaned the polish off. Do all press on nails do that with alcohol? I know acetone dose it. But Since the soft gel tip styles I have do get that way even with 99% alcohol and I’m trying to find a way to avoid that. I also do don’t see videos online about that 🥺
If you do acrylics on yourself, use a peel off gel so you can peel them off after, and re wear them like press ons!!!
When you do a 20-24 piece set, how do you decide which design variation to put on which size nails?

Hi to help with one of your questions about doing nails and being a mom .. I work and have kids and I do and sell press on nails and take appt from time to time so yes as long and u have a routine and manage ur time right u definitely can ! Go for it!! As a mom u can do anything
Yess! Routine is Key, especially with newborns. They eat every two to three hours if you’re nursing. With formula in my experience they ate less frequently. If u have routine you know when they eat, nap & sleep & that gives yourself time in between.

I love watching your videos and your personality! Just like hanging out with a girlfriend ✨👸🏽 I’ve been doing my own nails for years now and I’ve always done like families friends and coworkers too but I’ve honestly never made myself a press on set. I’ve always done fills or acrylic or dip or any other extension. Press ons look so much easier, way less stress, AND you get to use both hands 🤣 But you can’t apply them using the apres method right? The light won’t be able to penetrate through?
*edit: and for the pet peeve’s I know exactly what you mean. My brothers girlfriend acts like that all the time when we make plans and at first she’ll be like down to do whatever we’re doing but then when we finally do “it” she complains about everything. It just bothers me. Very “pick me” energy.

It's Tac, and no it stays like clay or play doe.... The blue kind can stain the tips, so I've been told. I only use the white .... 😊

Hey Val, I too found my nails shrinking.😢 I know top coats are notorious for this especially thick ones & even some polishes. When you recommend to size up, if the next size up is significantly bigger, how do you compensate for that? I know filing down, but guessing how much is where I'm unsure. I love the Beetles top coat. I've used many over the last 20 years but right now it's my favorite. However, I just did my first press on test runs on myself and every set I made shrank so much the nails didn't fit me. I used thin polish/paints for the designs not many layers. But that top coat is thick. I cried and thought "how am I going to ensure my clients nails fit after I get their sizes if the nails are going to shrink!?😮😭" So glad I'm still in the testing phases because that would have been mortifying if I had sent them to a client. Any more advice you can give on the shrinking would be SO much appreciated! I know my lamp is good, so I got that covered. Moving from doing nails on a human hand to press on's is definitely a learning curve & I'm so grateful for your videos and advice!🙏
Hi! Ive always just made sure to size up , from all of the nail tips ive used the size up should only be one or two millimeters bigger , which is perfect because itll be the perfect size. Ive never used ones that are so much bigger that they wont fit if you size up 💕 so my advice is , to use ones that arent really bigger. My favs are enailcouture : long sculpted square, square , ballerina , and oval these shapes are all pretty and the sizes are all only about one or two millimeters apart 💕 I size up with these for my clients and its never an issues 😊

I was so scared to try and keep going with my press on biz for fear this wasn't going to be a reasonable fix for my future clients. I want to start a nail press on business but so scared of not getting any clients :( Especially because I'm not a nail tech, I just really love doing nail art.
If you already do nails and have the stuff and nail art to do it I dont see any harm in trying! I recommend posting a lot on all platforms and making sure you find your target audience and post every day the kind of nails you love to do most! Example: i love long and glam nails so thats what I try to show the most on my instagram. Some do short and more simple nail art and also get a lot of customers because they have targeted that audience! 🤍

I asked the question about the pre shaped nails! Sorry for confusing you lol 😭 A lot of my customers like shorter nails, but I’ve had a hard time finding full cover tips that come shorter and already in their shape (ex. coffin, almond, etc). Right now I cut my longer tips down and shape them myself which works but it takes more time and I dont want to waste my longer tips! 💕 I’ll definitely check out E Nail Couture!
