Cory from TEAM ANGRY SPIKE has switched up his strategy, and while he's still being aggressive on moving in on the bull, he's doing very little calling. And his new tactic has gotten him within 10 yards of the bull he's been chasing.
And Tyler and Lenny have finally hit the motherload of bugling bulls. After a rough start to their season, they have found their groove, and are within bow range of a very fired up bull!
Will perseverance be the key to success today???

Pure Elevation put in the raw nasty effort we all need to ascribe to or work towards. They are two dedicated realistic, yet good spirited and light-hearted elk hunters. So much fun to cheer on!
There studs man. Watching them walk up those slopes I was like man. I would have had to stop twice to cover that distance
WOW, Another great episode. Lenny & Tyler sure gave it their best. The wind is an amazing wonder. Wind checkers are a must have. At least bulls were a bugling. They are out there, someplace. 9 days of solid, hard hunting is tough. Great job guys! Corey Ford loves 2 stand a top a large rock or stomp 2 spot bugle over huge areas. Does that really seem 2 work? Great effort. They sure put the miles on that Suzuki SUV. He sure dives into those huge ferns when he's on an elk chase. The Rosevelt elk seem to be allot more call shy. We'll stick with the R.M. Elk.
The determination from Angry Spike and Pure Elevation is nothing but spectacular. These guys are working their butts off! Never quitting and always staying positive! This whole production is an inspiration to both experienced and non experienced hunters alike. Truly a series dedicated to making all of us better hunters and better people in general. Thanks again Destination Elk!
Tyler and Lenny deserve the best attitude award... Even dog tired, they laugh and joke, and find bulls!
I’m rooting for Angry Spike and Pure Elevation to get it done next week. Those teams really put in the work this season. Thank you all for sharing your experiences with us all week in and week out. God Bless you all!
Man Cory is getting after it in that thick Oregon country. I thought they were going to take down the Jurassic bull! Another exciting episode. Thank you for everyone apart of this series including sponsors who made this happen!
Man these guys just sticking with it after all that bad luck. True sportsman.
These guys have done good at adapting to what this seasons thrown at them!
These episodes couldn't depict true elk hunting any better. The frustration, the exhaustion and sometimes,,,, the excitement and elation!
I want to know how the camera man manages to keep himself composed during the build ups, and then deliveries of Donnie's Dad jokes. 🤣 That joke was SO BAD it was SO GOOD! 😂
Thanks again to all of the sponsors who make Destination Elk possible. It's what gets us through the offseason and motivated for the upcoming fall!!!
My hats off to Corey and pure elevation team for their determination and motivation they portray.
Love watching Cory navigate the jungle and get in on those Rosie’s. Hopefully he can make it happen
Really liking the new format! Thanks for sharing your hunting season with us all!
I’ve got a feeling both groups are going to get the job done! They are so close! Fun to watch! It would be great to experience in person!! Thanks for sharing!!
No doubt that the struggle is real! A bull at 20 yards with no shot is truly a head banger! All you can do is keep pounding away at it.
Watching these final teams power through the final day of a rough 8 days of hunting helps encourage us on pushing hard through our 7, 8, or 9 day hunts to stick with it and don’t give up.
Loved to see Cory change up his tactics just a little bit. With that bull bugling on his own presented him the great opportunity to just move in fast and quietly close that distance. Sure hope that both teams have success in the next episodes. Thank you to all the sponsors for making this series possible!
I am impressed by the guys trying to bag an elk in such thick, thick vegetation. Your available shooting lanes decrease dramatically. Makes for an exciting and rewarding opportunity when the moment presents itself. Hope you guys are rewarded, good going!
Lots of hard work and dedication go into making these videos for all of us to see. Thanks to all you guys for keeping us entertained!
Love that we get 2 episodes every week. Otherwise I would binge this in a day. Thanks for the great content. Love the hard work everyone is putting in.
Huge Respect to Pure Elevation and Angry Spike for steady pushing through brutal terrain. Sad to see this series end, looking forward to next year's
The footage that Corey has gotten this year is insane. It’s like watching a great defensive matchup in a football game, lots of action and can’t stop watching but not a ton of success. Can’t wait for next episode!
I am amazed over and over at how thick that Oregon brush is! To have a bull at 10 yards and yet have no shooting lanes is incredible. But both teams had some classic elk interactions this week, which was awesome!
Still can’t get over how lush and beautiful the woods are there. Great video!
Just can’t imagine hunting in this thick Oregon landscape…Hats off
Can’t thank you enough for keeping the elk season alive through the cabin fever months of winter!
Idaho has so much country that's just bigger and deeper than Eastern Oregon. I'm amazed at the views. Pure elevation and angry spike was so close. That coastal range is no joke.
Another great episode! Thank you again for letting me tag along with you. And I’m glad to hear there are more episodes coming my way! The hunt of a lifetime is always my favorite episode. Great to know there are still good people willing to give of themselves. That’s what it’s all about!
Love the expression in this episode lol “get him pissed off” with all the hand motions!!! Gets me pumped!
As already mentioned, the attitude of all these dudes is stoic and motivated at the same time. Admirable and something to strive for
It is impressive how dense the brush and timber are out there towards the coast. Having such a large body at 10yds and not being able to see it is hard for me to wrap my mind around. Good work guys, thanks again!
Thank you for the great season Cory. Can’t wait for next year.
Man! Talk about humble pie. It’s gettin down to the nitty gritty for these two. Hard work and determination. Nothin better.
I always seem to learn a little something from watching good hunting videos like these. Thanks for all the hard work of putting these together. It's crazy how thick that Oregon terrain is.
Awesome season!! Great teams!! Can’t say I’d rather see anything different! It’s real, it’s the ups AND downs which makes it so much more enjoyable to watch vs most shows! Thanks for the series and for making it available for FREE! You have awesome sponsors and kudos to them also for their generosity which allows this series to happen! I hope you guys know how much impact this series has on us “Elk Nuts”! It’s incredible!!! Thank you so much to all the teams, the camera guys, and the sponsors!!
It has been a great season. The different teams within each episode highlight different styles and terrain. It is educational and entertaining. Thanks!
Such a great season. Pure elevation is just putting in work. And Cory is working hard and knows what he’s doing. Really cool to be able to watch on here.
I have really enjoyed watching team pure elevation this season! They have a great sense of humor and man can they hike! Their cameraman keeps right up too! Amazing job!!
Can't believe how thick it is in Oregon. Couldn't imagine hunting in that.
Tyler and Lenny are so positive even when down!!!
Cory is in ‘the thick of it’ this episode. Great camera work to show just how thick it is on the coast. Great series!
Destination Elk does not disappoint! I have enjoyed watching every episode! Using the terrain features is a extremely good tip and is something that can be easily overlooked. We’re planning our second elk hunt in September in the McCall zone. Our first trip last year was very memorable and had several close encounters. We learned a lot last year and am going through EHU for the second time. Thank you for all you do! It is greatly appreciated by those of us who are new to elk hunting.
I can't believe the amount of work put into this season! From the teams, the videographers, to the editors! We have gotten hours upon hours of great and informative content. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I absolutely love watching the teams hunt. The amount I have learned has been incredible, and I hope to utilize these new skills this fall
It’s amazing how much the power of the bugle has to make us walk so far in search of them. Keep going guys
That Oregon territory is brutal. I hope those guys can get it done. Thanks for another great video. As a Traffic safety professional I might have to use the Vics vapor rub joke. Good one!
The true grit and determination of everyone is nothing short of inspirational. Learning from their encounters and taking notes to use next season. As I watch the adventure unfold each week, I'm consistently reminded of all the mistakes I've made and, unfortunately, will make in the future. I can't wait to see the remaining teams succeed. They deserve to punch a tag with how hard they have worked to up their odds of success. Thanks for bringing us the raw truth and reality of elk hunting with archery equipment.
Hat off to the push in on the Roosevelt elk by both the hunter and cameraman. That was played great, just didn’t work out as we’ve all experienced. Great episode!
The pure effort, will and determination from all of you this season is something all of us elk hunters should strive for. Thanks for taking us along.
These two groups have had so many close encounters that haven’t resulted in shots off, their patience and fortitude is off the charts. Looking forward to how these close out the season next episode!
Another great episode. You can tell the frustrations building on the final 2 teams. Keeping their optimism and pushing through!
Always good to see effort and hard work being put in and to show not every hunt is successful but always an adventure that won’t be forgotten!
Man the way that Cory just sticks with it and doesn’t get frustrated when he keeps getting that close without a shot is admirable. And those pure elevation boys know how to keep after it!
Great hunt Pure Elevation and a great effort through eight brutal days! Talk about working hard and not giving up. Love those guys! Thank you Elk101 for another amazing season of some fantastic episodes!!
I am truly grateful because of the elk talk podcast that lead me to this show and the outdoor school/ UEH, gohunt and all of the info that has inspired me to go on my first OTC hunt this year. I didn't think it was a possibility to go elk hunting realistically more than once in my life being from the east coast and only dreamed of it from the time I was 9 without knowing where how and when. but now it feels within reach can't wait. also my four year old watches the show with me and askes when she can go hunting and has been going with on my hikes to get ready. its great to have all of this info and thanks to all that had a hand making the content.
Crazy to be able to get that close and not even be remotely close to having a shot. That's some crazy dense woods. Love the grit, keep after it!
‘A pacific northwest buffet!’ Was the statement Corey (angry spike) used to describe the brush and thicket that he was in. Good description if u have any western Oregon hunting experience! Keep going!
The tactics throughout this season have been really educational. It’s difficult to keep going like Pure Elevation but those lone bugles keep you grinding. Great work guys!
Those cliffhangers always get me! Can't wait for tomorrow's episode. Angry spike I feel your pain, that terrain is super tough. Pure elevation is definitely in the elk now, but it's gonna be a wet one! Specially with no rain jacket on! That makes for a long wet and cold day, been there lots of times.. Thank you all for the great footage!
The commitment of you all is utterly amazing.
So hard not to feel dejected after putting in so much work just to get burned, but Tyler, Lenny, and Cory keep great attitudes throughout all of it. They probably know more than most that through perseverance an opportunity will eventually present itself. Hoping for a successful end to their seasons!
The Pure Elevation duo of Lenny and Tyler never lose their optimism. I feel like that is such a strong characteristic of consistently successful hunters.
I am learning so much from you guys. These episodes are so full of great hunting scenarios and situations. I'm thankful that you guys are sharing all of this knowledge with us.
Man, this has thrown me off this season of Destination Elk. Def has been epic in different ways this year!
Another great episode!! thanks to all the sponsors and also to the camera guys for the hard work without the opportunity to tag a bull! looking forward to Thursday!
So fun to have all the encounters, even if they don’t get to draw. I don’t think as many people would hunt if you just harvest on the first day. It’s the experiences you have in the field that keep people coming back every year.
Another awesome episode. It's awesome watching Tyler and Lenny's persistence on the mountain. And Angry Spike is just getting after it in the thick stuff
Another fun one to watch. My kids (3 and 5) watched with me this time. After not seeing an elk shot they said they wanted to watch an elk shot, so I replayed the previous episode for them. Exciting to see my kids get excited thanks to your show!
Excellent footage. You guys do an amazing job! Lugging all this equipment to document these hunts are amazing. Thank you to you all and the sponsors for making this even possible.
I really enjoyed watching destination elk. Been following you guys from the beginning and have learned so much just from watching the show.
Tyler & Lenny really have fun even though the hunting is very frustrating. Life is good, what's better than a day chasing elk. Cory has to get this bull...he deserves it after finding him so many times! Another great episode guys. Thanks to all the sponsors, everyone needs to support them! Hey Donnie...did you have to have a fishing license for that lunker you pulled from the lake???
Tyler and Lenny sure work hard and they are fun to watch, you can tell they are good friends like Corey and Donny. i want to tell you guys thanks for the season this is great footage.
Always good to see that the best have difficulties hunting Roosevelt. I live on the Washington coast, and this past year was very difficult.
Love watching you guys. It's a big drive for me and the wife to get ramped up for elk season. Thanks guys.
Nice work guys, can’t get enough of you guys capturing the real struggles out there. Keep it up 👍🏻
Gotta love when a bull pulls a fast one and you don't have time to get drawn before they pin you. Definitely not lacking elk interaction this season.
Another great episode as usual! Kudos to both teams keeping at it. I don't see how you guys hunt in the Oregon forests, it's so thick I can't imagine trying to hunt stuff that thick. I can't wait from one episode to the next to see the next one. Each and every one is just great. You guys are my heroes! You hunt hard, work harder, have fun, and get it done. Keep it up!
Gosh such beautiful terrain and footage. I love seeing the red and orange colors of the fall season. Keep up the great work 📷
Another great episode! Destination Elk is a huge step above all other hunting series! Great job!
Great season! I enjoy the different team dynamics, terrain, weather, calling techniques, modes of transportation. A lot to learn and thanks for providing it. Best of luck next season!
It's crazy to think about how much work goes into each video, not to mention an entire series!
I am impressed on how hard these teams are working, this is very entertaining to watch.
Pure elevation really shows how important having the right hunting partner can be. They keep each other’s spirits up, and still manage to laugh after a tough situation! And that coastal action is so intense and shows how not everybody can hunt those buggers. Corey can sure call though, and he really gets those bulls fired up!
Grew up on the west side of Oregon. That’s some thick country. Love seeing the determination of everyone. Great advise on night calling. Appreciate all the tips.
Such hard working great hunters. I'm so anxious for them to finish. Can I pray for such things well after the fact? You guys are amazing? Wow!
Good action again, they have the elk located. Feel bad for Cory, so close so many times, tough terrain. Pure elevation continue to put in the work. Everyone deserves an elk for the effort put in! Thanks all!
Both Pure Elevation and Angry Spike have really had it tough all week. Both still have been in elk and played the chess match over and over extremely well. What great experiences! We all know that the elk win almost all the time and I've loved being along for the ride!
I love Lenny's and Tyler's attitude. They've hunted so hard and yet, they are still smiling!
That coastal terrain is some thick nasty stuff! It is intriguing to watch Angry Spike hunt in those conditions. Keep it up guys!
Definitely impressed with the grit that Tyler,Lenny, and Ty have.
The recaps at the end are great. Glad to have the strategy for success segments integrated into those as well. Great content!
Again I learn from your wisdom about the terrain break set up. Thank for a great season.
The grind is real for Pure Elevation and Cory F. Just goes to show, it doesn’t matter who you are, the elk can humble you. Good reminder to be humble and keep grinding. Good things will happen eventually.
"Gotta find a bugler, somehow, somewhere". That is like my daily mantra during elk season.
Great episode! Love to watch a realistic hunting series where the elk aren't cooperating. Its been awesome to watch the determination of these teams.
These guys are hitting it hard in every way! Sticking with it will hopefully pay off for these guys. It's so easy to get discouraged when you've been chasing elk day after day.
Great episode again That Oregon is some difficult hunting I sure like how well he can call. The other team is not giving up even with out a rain jacket. I like how they keep their spirits up and keep pushing. God's Blessings to you guys
After all the effort, it would be great to see success.
wow...some tough country and some tough luck. I admire the "stick-with-it-ness" of both groups of hunters!
Lots of hard work goes into this series and I appreciate all yours!
Everyone is putting in a great efforts. It is a great learning experience watching every group!
