I really appreciate that these hunt videos do not have recreates of the shots, nor a bunch of annoying music making the hunt unrealistic. It’s real, and that’s part of what makes it so fun to watch. Keep up the good work, and thank you sponsors for being willing to support something different from 95% of the rest of the shows out there

Cory & Donnie look bone tired after that unique experience and Donnie was lucky his eye wasn't worse than it was! The camera man saves the day again toting that heavy pack! Those elevation guys just are so upbeat, love it when Lenny gets the giggles! Cory Ford is a very patient hunter, especially having to hunt in the jungle. Great episode gents, can't wait for next week!!!

Nothing beats a good ole tree banging session! It's the best way to get frustration out during a tough hunt, and sometimes, it even brings in elk.

Donnie exhibited a lot of patience there. to have the tough early days and then walk into a meadow with a bull feeding and the patience to not blow it up is a testament to the value of what we can learn from the day by day series.

This season has been absolutely incredible. Not only because of all the crazy awesome encounters caught on video, but each Team has shown tremendous persistence and perseverance given their respective hunts and challenges they've faced. We are all grateful for you guys sharing your experiences and adventures with us. Lastly I'd like to salute the ethics shown by Mark and now Donnie. Donnie could have slung an arrow at that big ole 6 point that came out, but he mentioned he was just out of his personal comfort range for taking that shot. The most underrated part of this episode. Thank you Donnie for showing great restraint and demonstrating elite hunter ethics for the majestic and beloved animals we all chase every elk hunting season. A salute and all respect to you Sir.

This episode was one of the best I’ve ever seen from you guys! It showed all aspects of elk hunting in one episode perfectly. First starting off with angry spike and seeing a bulging bull just staying out of range but acting fired up, not to mention seeing the little grunts and pants was awesome, it’s one of the tactics I use the most and elk can’t handle it. Then seeing pure elevation really showed how having a good hunting partner makes persevering a tough hunt that much easier, and what a big bull they got into. Then seeing you and Donnie changing up plans and it all coming together, wish Donnie would have been able to get that big wide 6 but hey you take the opportunities you get! Amazing episode!

Way to go Donnie, it takes a good hunter to turn down a shot that's just outside of his comfort zone. Better to pass up a shot to have a chance later than to injure the bull. Great work in relaying that information I really enjoy the break down of the hunts and the strategy for success.

What a tough hunt, my Buddy shot a cow elk that we tracked and ended up killing it in the river. He did get wet retrieving it. We got it to the edge of the river and tied it off. We were only a few miles from my house and being it had died in the Watershed area, we contacted them and they had additional help along with the Game Warden. The Game Warden gutted and halved the elk, the Watershed people,Warden and I packed it 100 yards or so to there trucks then drove out and backed up to my truck and transferred it, then home we went. My buddy didn’t even have to help at all. We did prove that it was shot outside of the Watershed so all was Ok. Easiest elk pack out we ever had.

I learned a lot on this episode, especially that we have only so much time to hunt, when you go from the first day thinking you have a couple of weeks, to the day before the last day, or the last day to hunt. Being aggressive everyday with every tactic you know can help you succeed. I always second guess myself on ideas, or tactics, but it's the worse doing it after the season is over and knowing that you have over 300 days to try again. I appreciate all the nuggets I'm getting from these episodes, thank you so much.

Probably one of the coolest shows and the hard work paid off. Congratulations Donny and you guys had to work for that one. Getting it out of the lake in the dark is definitely a once in a lifetime thing

As a 50 year old it's great seeing a couple of veteran young guys getting it done. Congratulations Donnie and Corey!

Definitely give props to all 3 cameramen in this video. From packing out elk, to raking trees and keeping up with the Hunter like Cory Ford who was moving fast and more.
Congratulations to Team Elk101 on their successful elk hunting 🏹 and elk fishing 🎣 trip in this latest episode. 😃

Great series as always, and doesn’t help making September get here any sooner! Glad to see Donnie was able to fill his tag! Thank you and the rest of the teams for sharing your seasons with us.

You guys have really encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and hunt new areas, even new states. Although its been rough, I've learned so much. Thank you!

This is what hunting should be all about for everyone! Just hunting with your closest friends and not going for the biggest and best. Just going to have a great time. That time in the meadow with 3 shooter bulls within distance was so epic. That’s something every Hunter wants to find themselves in the middle of. So awesome. Thank you for the great inspiration and dad jokes!
