Good to see Connor back on the ice. Trust the progress will go well and you'll be back in the line up soon. We miss seeing you out there..

Is someone from the organization pushing hard to have Bedard still attend but not skate at the All-Star event? The youngest ever selection needs to be recognized in person for this NHL celebration in some fashion.

I remember I was at that rink during a tournament I did see Kane play which was great. My favorite is Chicago. But I’m glad that Bedard is starting to practice even though he could’ve waited a bit longer to go on the ice

They said he severely injured it. It was said to be 6 to 8 weeks recovery and this kid said screw it and he’s practicing already after a week of surgery. This kid is small, strong, and never gives up.

he broke his jaw not his spine, the only worry is injuring it worse with contact therefore he will obviously still skate at practice with a non contact jersey.

His jaw might be wired shut which sounds like pure hell.

Pretty convenient timing to get injured....I'm guessing he'll be back Feb 9th after not having to play against McDavid, a western road swing, or the ALL STAR game...Feb 9th is when they're back at home playing The Rangers...The Minnesota game he'll likely miss, just because it's a meh game.

You would have to tie him up to keep him off skates, lm predicting a record time return to the lineup

I was pretty heartbroken when the broken jaw occurred. I thought “what if this changes the way he sees and plays the game? What if he’ll be afraid to go up the middle?” Then my family and friends reminded me. This kid cried because he had to go to HAWAII because he couldn’t play hockey. My little fat self would’ve loved being lazy in paradise but he never stopped grinding and I don’t think that’s ever going to change. He’s going to make his own luck and write his own destiny. Oh and the bubble looks sick so 😂

I did at first. Genuinely. I was concerned. Severely breaking his wrist just made him better/more hungry to play and win. His hero is Crosby and sid took more headshots than any rookie star in NHL history and went on to be a legend. Bedard isn’t done growing as a person and as a player. He could end up being 5’11 190 or he could stay 5’9 170, either way he’s going to dominate this league. He’ll keep his head up going through the middle and might have the yips for a bit but no, his game won’t change. At least I pray it won’t! I honestly hope they move him to the wing when Moore and Nazar come up.

He was hit in the jaw with a shoulder after the player bent at the knee and then lifted his entire weight up into his face. He then raised his arm up and shoved him off with his elbow/forearm area.
