He’s shy but genuine, he’ll be a pros pro when he’s matured
shy? how so? mcdavid is shy. bedard is an open book.
just not a bubbly personality, which tbf is 99% of professional hockey players lol@@husg13
Connor carries himself very similarly to the player he idolized growing up. Good on him.
I like the way this kid’s conducts himself in interviews, he didn’t have to say the 4 goals were slightly exaggerated. He seems genuine. People are going to put everything this kid says and does under a microscope. If he keeps a level head and continues his work ethic , he is going to have a phenomenal professional hockey career for a long time . I hope I get to watch some of his games .
It’s so exciting to hear him introduce himself as a Blackhawk
Good Canadian role model right here.
Was a pleasure seeing him play live in Regina. He scored the nicest goal I have ever seen and for some reason its never on the highlights. He did his thing and long story short chopped a bouncing puck while flying superman through the air into the top corner.
The kid might have the best hands the game has ever seen and has on multiple occasions scored goals while falling/being hit/flying. Forsberd and Datsyuk levels of puck control.
Building size. Looking strong. Stay healthy Connor
hell be the best ever. mark my words
The reason I will route for this kid is bc he’s a team first player n a humbly grounded person… he always mentions how lucky he is to be in this position n he wants the team to win…. My favourite memory of him was at world jrs when he shut down the on ice interviewer trying to congratulate him on his personal accomplishments at the tournament; n he said WE just won the championship I don’t give a crap about personal accomplishments n don’t care to talk about it further
Very well spoken guy
This Kid will be an Absolute star and easily break all Blackhawks team scoring records.
I’m routing for him but that’s a bold bold statement to be so sure about Patrick Kane was nasty in Chicago n played 15 yrs… ur assuming he stays healthy, wants to be in Chicago for that long, and is capable of over a point a game all without playing a single shift yet
@@badmontingz1219 Yes I truly believe this young man has the the goods the tools to be what everyone has already stated a generational player. The Hawks have drafted well the last two years with five first round picks five or six second round picks and the the same in the third rounds as well as having two more first rounders next year. They are primed to be a potent team and to build a potent team around this young man.
Chicago is going to embrace Connor like they embraced Kane and Toews etc. The cups are still fresh in our memories though so Connor will have big shoes to fill, but I think he'll make us proud.
Great player Great human as Eddie O always says😊
Love that Berdard mentions Folingo, great player
My glorious scrumptious king Bedsy☺️☺️☺️
No he's my hubbynums
Connor is a stand up young man. He makes his parent proud!
Some of his facial expressions remind me of Gretzky...like a lot.
Was thinking the same thing. His number is also 98, he'll be the closest we'll see to the great one
I’ll predict 85 points for him this season.
id say 65 points with a losing record, he's a great player but on a bad team right now
@@satonato4089 True but he will get lots of playing time
I'm going 35 goals and 35 assists. Finishing his career with 800+ goals and 800+ assists.
Could go down as the most well rounded offensive player we have ever seen.
@@StonedSpagooter Wow. Crazy prediction!
@@GreekboyyD It does seem prettry out there but based on his past 3 seasons of hockey I think its a pretty safe bet!
Last season he has 71 goals and 72 assists !!!!
Best thing is he has his feet firm on the ground, he wants no privileges. That's important for the lockerroom.
My son forgot his Skates playing PeeWee AAA and a Parent from Opposite TEAM went Home n got Skates to Loan my Son and he Scored Hatrick and other Teams Parents were so Happy...Great Canadian Hockey Story Goooo LEAFS GOOOOOOOO🇨🇦
That is the most sports net interview outfit I have ever seen the kid will be just fine
I’m 65 and I still have dreams of forgetting my catchers gear.
Keep your head up kid 👍
#1 he is a good human.
#2 he's a helluva hockey prospect.
❤
Every hockey player has a story of forgetting their gear at a young age 😂😂
Another guys jock, no way, that's a nightmare for hockey players, this young man has such an incredible release, accuracy is next level, once he's paired with the right linemates, he's going to score many goals, potential 70/80 in a season, maybe 2/3 years down the road.
Taylor Hall has been nothing but a pro and is a great balanced player. I still wanna smack Sweeney in the back of the head for trading him in hindsight. He would have filled that second line role or third but Chicago is a smart team we’re not.
Boston didnt have the salary to keep hall
"I'm just a normal guy." Love him.
Normal guy with a broken jaw lol absolutely perfect
First professional bruise haha go hard kid
why didn't they ask him about his chin ?
He got hurt obviously, something with a jersey pull, i think he said lol
Probably talked about it before hand and didnt wanna make it awkward
He talked about it during pregame of his prospect tourney debut. He got cut in a practice with other NHLers. I think it was a high stick or something but idr
@@Bpolit28he said he collided with a guy and his jersey did it.
It is a friction burn. Similar to a rug burn.
@@Rowan-mo4ko gotcha. All I remembered is it happened in a scrimmage
In his first season 65 points tops. He’ll be a star but will need some time. Not to mention he’ll be on a crap team
Get the cameras off him and let him pracky his toe drag release
85 more goals over 35 goals
Connor has the heaviest BC accent I’ve ever heard
Is call young boy talking. Not any particular accent! Even if it is an accent is way better than any other!
@TM-qj4yr yes he does 😅
Hear him say process or pasta
Wait, what did he do with Sidney😮
Dirty things
@@Gulutzansyourdaddy😂 hockey related hopefully
I think they did some competition stuff of shooting at different angles. I think it’s for what channel Colby Armstrong works on.
@TM-qj4yr oh thanks 😊
Connor Bedard Number 9H
I hope he signs with another team in the future. Even if it costs a kings ransom
boy would do better in a canadiens jersey.
you guys started pressing him too hard about 1/2 way through and he tightened up, after the pats loss question he switched
39 minutes on the Grouse Grind is wild LOL
He said nhl is the bestbleague in the world, how do we know? Really?
Filthy Mits and Filthy Jock?!?! Yeesh😂
Why does Jeff Marek piss me off so much?
Elliot’s bottom lip
Lol, 50 year old nerds asking a just turned 18 year old what are the rules you live your life by… most awkward interview ever
He will be a bust.
Bedsy is boring as flip.
LOL they all are but not boring on ice
They cause a controversy, they get berated and lose fans. Better to be boring than controversial.
@@phukit5456absolutely not
I like him, he’s not cocky and is very humble. I hope he doesn’t end up with a Chicago puck bunny who knows nothing about hockey like Jonathan Toews. I hate how so many of these pro athletes end up with gold diggers and their kids end up being spoil brats and never amount to anything.
Sick capris.
