Always amazes me how many people climb the ladder and then just stare at him the first time. Like they didn't learn from asylum demon that it's not nice to look down at others lol
I had my friend (who is super new to fromsoft-like's) play the game for the first time, and that was literally THE FIRST THING he tried to do, and was able to plunge the taur demon 3 times. It amazes me how little people think.
We need an entire video just for the anor londo archers.
yeah!!!
I agree there needs to be some none boss stuff mixed in. There's just so many great moments outside of the bosses that could be included, like the 2 shark monsters in the well in Bloodborne for example.
Not the shark giants dear lord
@@SkarrGaming fuck them and fuck you too
Ahhhhhh man they are in londo? That's where I'm going after that fucking parca demon
*Enters Boss Room*
*Attempts to leave through both doors*
*FromSoft Standing in the Corner:* "No no no, that's not allowed friend"
thats the reason why i think the asylum demon is kind of crappy tutorial boss,it falsely teaches you that you can run from a boss fight.(but besides that, its pretty great)
@@gizmo12055 it mean works against hellkite besides you'll only die like one time if you thought that.
Lmao that first guy with the black knight 😂😂😂
We have all been that first guy.
You hit the black knight and he just turns around like "feeleth I a flea bite?"
Basically everyone's first encounter with the black knight
@@digitmidget6973 facts
Never thought I could get exited over a Taurus Demon reaction.
The bullying of anor londo is waiting
I can already imagine how glorious it's gonna be
We will never have it
Am I the only one that thought anor Londo was easy?
@@SuzukiT had an easy time there but the boss took me 4 whole hours
@@kenichiooo9454 all of it was easy to me but at the time it was my favourite area, the ease of it might have been a factor
ornstein and smough waiting room
We will never have it
3:16 it just kept getting better and better
I remember first playing dark souls in 2011. I literally was stuck on ornstein and smough for 2 entire weeks
O and S was easier for me than gargoyles.
@@annoyedchef7124 Me too, gargoyles mustve taken me like 80 tries but i beat o&s first try(zweihander op). I later found out that's because I focused Ornstein first. Fight is a lot harder if you focus Smough first.
@@alexanderchatziioannidis4767 80? Are you serious?
Is it bad that the orphan took me a month
I think the boss that took me the longest to beat was the final boss of Sekiro against Ishin. Took me 3 days to get his patterns down
3:26 one of the best death
0:30 Literally every Dark Souls players' worst nightmare
Bruh the first time met the black knight and I walk towards it and I could already tell that this enemy was a challenge. So I walked back and it heard me and chased me all throughout the level. Uhh I’m miss DS1. 5 years later.
Zonyae Ambrose that first Black Knight made me rage quit for about a year... lol then I told someone I was stuck on a miniboss and the guy said "dude. That's just a regular enemy." I got gud that weekend.
5:59 "I can sleeeeeeeeeep" LOL :U
HobbsCvz Whaaaaat I was tired! XD
Ahh, good old times when people didn't know how to play Souls games.
Facts today it’s not intense as it used to be. The illusion of fear and unknown along with the mechanics was truly what made it shine
Ahh I wish I could erase all my DS1 memory and play it all over again from the beginning, it's such a nice feeling. But now I already know every strats, bosses, weapons ;-;
First time i fighted the Taurus demon i instantly run for climbing, because he fuccking scared me, Aaaand he came up and destroyed me...
souls borne yeah me too I thought he won't jump and i'll kill him with arrows but boy was I wrong
Lyna Ckhilou Dark souls the only game that the AI is more intelligent than you.
Fought
first time i fought him he falled off the cliff LUL
Can't wait to see Capra Demon reactions lol
that pain... oh god or gargoyles without solaire
Angel best arena ever
Ahahaha exactly my thoughts
I beat the gargoyles on my second try because of how much damage lightning spear does
The Gargoyles are not really hard honnestly
Lol for context I basically told my livestream I would go to sleep after I killed the boss xD (I actually did that a few time throughout my live playthrough.) Soo thats why I was so tired sounding and why when I beat him I said "I can sleeeeeeep" lol
Anyways thanks for including me again! :D
Got to love that tiny moment where the Taurus Demon jumps down, and the realization of the player kicks in of 'what' is actually happening. It's that tiny moment of hesitation which is just glorious, and I see it soo often in blind runs. ^w^
Meanwhile... I thought that the red dragon you encounter earlier, would swoop down onto that bridge, or climb up onto the left side of it, to function as the boss fight. :p
Voltorn Elda i thought the same ;) A dragon bossfight on this bridge could have been epic!
There is no reason why that couldn't have been a thing. ^w^ Though I fear the dragon might be a little bit stronger than a tiny Taurus Demon xD
Voltorn Elda i guess too. The dragon afterwards feels kinda out of place. He is just standing on the bridge and makes nothing. Yeah you can shoot his tail for a special weapon, but theres nothing more. And you will never encounter him again throughout the whole game. Its kinda sad. Like a missed opportunity.
Replacing the gargoyles with the dragon would be a good idea too!
Deloron I never shot his tail so he was there for a looooong time before I managed to kill him in actual fight lol
I of course saw the Black Knight first, and I thought "Yeah, no thanks. I'll just explore around a bit more first."
Then I got one shot by the Taurus demon when I dared to wander it's bridge with half a life bar left.
My next thought was "Okay, Armor guy isn't so bad after all. I'll go see what his deal is."
drink for every fat roll in the video
Not much, then. It mostly medium rolls
i have never seen somebody get plunge attacked by the taurus demin before this.
This guy is actually my favorite Dark Souls 1 boss! I love how straightforward it is, and he has a great moveset and arena. Simple fight for early game, but the design, arena and straight forward brutalness of the fight make me love it.
I actually beat this boss on my first try. I was on the top of the world and thought that this game had nothing on me.
Then I met Capra Demon....
Should have included them losing all their souls and self confidence from Hellkite....
Who the hell says "wait you can't traverse the white light again?" Of course you cant its a damn boss fight you cant just run away
Lmao
The Asylum Demon kinda teaches you that you can, as that's what you're supposed to do if you don't want to spend years trying to kill him
it's so fun watching people get excited over early game bosses, i just can remember playing through for the first time so fondly.
I want a DS1 remaster so bad. There’s something that it has that no other souls games have.
welp...
Man this is sad...
It's honestly kind of surprising how many players completely ignore the ladder. The plunge mechanic the game teaches you at the tutorial makes this fight so much easier.
Always nice to see the reactions once they defeat the boss. I think the feeling of triumph and relief when you beat the boss is the strongest with the Taurus Demon out of any of the other bosses in the Dark Souls series, just because it's the first "real" boss in the games and people don't know what to expect going into it.
Clev Clearly i wouldnt say this. For me it was probably manus, because he was the hardest and took the most time. But I guess for most of the players it would be O&S.
What about the 'Bed of Chaos'? It seems a lot of people are extremely happy too, once they get past that thing :p
For me the biggest sense of achievement lies in defeating O&S. Hate those tag-teaming meanies xD
Nah that would be the Bell Gargoyles for me.
First time I fought the Taurus Demon he looked at me and then jumped off the opening on the bridge within 5 seconds. No joke.
I think that distinction might go to O&S especially if you solo them, but the triumph/relief is real with this one too. I think that's part of the reason why people get so immediately and strongly attached to Solaire. I mean, he's a cool guy on his own, but the fact that you meet him at this specific point, after slogging through the Burg for the first time (and possibly getting wrecked by the Black Knight and/or Havel as well as the Taurus Demon) and beating that boss, just makes good old Solaire seem like the bestest bro you could ever find.
this guys plunging attack is how ancient wyvern shouldve been
Still holding on for the Drake & Josh beatdown at Anor Londo
I love your funny intros haha
I feel so much better now watching this, playing this game for the first time this year ^^
Cant wait for the rest of the boss's, Orenstien and Smough in particular!
I honestly didn't know the Taurus Demon was capable of jumping to the top of that tower, and pulling himself up there.
Thanks to a post on Imgur, I was already aware of that.
Love your content my boi. Would love to see monster hunter content when it's released in January
Smough and Ornstein are watching from anor londo with popcorn while the archers shear a fine point on their arrows
Ah, Taurus Demon. Teaching players since 2011 that they can't run away from their responsibilities because the fog gate doesn't work from both sides.
5:48 this is what it’s all about man 😂 that ecstasy after a long battle nothing comes close fucking love these games
You should have seen my face when I discovered he can jump up the tower, good Gwyn.
That first clip deserves a "to be continued..." Meme.
Yo! Those reactions man :)
More vietnam flashbacks* fuck this boss is easy but is the first dark souls i played i suffering so much.
I didn't even knew that Taurus Demon can jump on the tower
That intro was beautiful.
Message: try plunging attack
Taurus demon: yeah, good idea
This is so good yet so painful xp
all those mid rolls
I popped back into Dark Souls 1 for a change of pace from DS3 and Bloodborne and because I never have made it far in that game. I got the Taurus Demon and while it was too bad of a fight, I did have a rotten experience. In FromSoftware games since DS1 (and probably DS2), the game doesn't count it as your win if you die just as the boss does. Well, I was fighting him and somehow managed to roll up onto the wall of the area. Instead of rolling back down, my idiot ass decided to first heal up. Taurus Demon then smacked me off the wall and let me fall to my death. Then the stupid demon followed me as "You Died" appeared on the screen. I ran back expecting to do the fight again, so imagine my surprise when it really did count as my win. However, because DS1 is a bit...special, it dumped my souls, including what I got from the boss, up on top of that bit of wall from which I'd fallen. I tried and tried rolling back on it to get them, but I couldn't. I actually started a brand new game, because I wasn't that far into the game and I had nearly 10k souls when I died and couldn't retrieve them. That's enough that early in the game to be worth starting a fresh save over. In any other FromSoftware they'd have put the souls where I could actually reach them.
Can't wait for the reactions to the bell gargoyle(s) or as I like to call them, _The first wall of the game._
When i first fought the taurus demon, it ran at me, then jumped to the side right off the bridge, instantly killing it. I was so confused.
Really a great job with the video again, these reactions are too hilarious, hehe!
By the way, I can recommend you ChristopherOdds and Alyce's Rochas reactions for the bosses too. ;)
We all had that oh fuck moment when we climbed the ladder to get to the tower and we're looking and taunting the tauros demon for not being able to get up here then he jumps up and rekts us with his axe
If they struggle with the taurus demon i can't imagine what its going to be with the bell gargoyles or Capra...
Ahhhhhh the good old days
"You defeated, or something?"
"I don't give a fuck, I killed him!"
5:50 Chill man, it’s the second boss.
"You Defeated"
"I don't give a fuck, I killed him!"
LMAO
Imaging throwing firebombs against a demon.
Like how many don’t think enough for plunge attack?
The Zweihander guy didn't even kill the boss before he was cut off. The boss had some hp left.
I didnt even know there was a ladder until i died the first time
you can tell who entered the skele area a bit too early lol
La sensación que te da este juego al matar bosses difíciles los cuales la primera vez cuentan mucho es increíble, te sientes tan poderoso y que todo lo puedes por eso amo este juego. Claro y después llegas a otro jefe y te deja en ridículo jajaja xD
I never knew you could plunging attack him
ダークソウルの魔力に憑りつかれて行ってる様を見るのは愉快なものだ。
3:22 lmfaoooo
more casual content. it's sorta fun to see these people get rekt simultaneously, then other dark souls players taking knowledge from these bois mistakes and becoming vets. for greater power, there comes sacrifice.
He push me of the wall, then kill hitself by joining me, great fight.
5:42 *EAR CANCER INTENSIFIES*
I guess some players forgot their first lesson about plunging attack..
Would like to see their reaction after lowering the lava in the demon ruins
You should do a first black knight compilation
Maybe put the Anor Londo archers in the intro to the O and S video?
5:40 Can you imagine being this excited after defeating Taurus Demon 😂
You should be able to, if you remember your first playthrough.
My friend had the interesting occurrence of the taurus demon killing itself when He fought it...
5:39 .... he wasn't dead..... this is when people learn.... to double tap the mother trucker
just wait till they get to the demon ruins
****Capra Demon Waiting Room****
Taurus demon has the 2nd worst bossroom in my opinion. We all now who has the worst ;)
im waiting for the bed of chaos
+KingBoro Words I never expected to hear from anyone
Taurus has a great arena! I like fighting him up top.
stray demon has a pretty bad arena. aoe blasts that fill the entire place and you start off with a gigantic chunk of your hp gone
@@nicholaschavez9777
There's actually a good UA-cam Tutorial on how to approach that boss. It took me two tries, but I mopped the floor with that bitch!
I'm tryin to remember if I was this frantic for the Taurus demon I think the black knight was harder for me
Since black knights can't respawn they don't relocate to original location right?
Well because of that in the catacombs the black knight kept popping out of fucking nowhere in my first playthrough. I died to it away from its spawn point and since it can't fucking climb up walls it just kept wandering around the catacombs. I would be going to pinwheel and BAM he's right fucking there!! I would be trying to get out of the catacombs (no lordvessel) and I finally defeat all the bonewheels and just when I get around a corner I get a fucking greatsword to the face.
It was intense.
The lets bone guy seemed like a casul
Boss reaction, HAVEL !
Kinda wish you had gotten kootra's reaction, it was really funny (from hot seat, not his actually channel)
This is why, although it's hilarious to _watch_ a blind run, it's not really advised to _play_ a blind run.
Oh hell yes! :D
The first time I played this game I was so lucky. The demon attacked me once, then jumped to the side and off the bridge xD
Same here back in 2013..... oh god was it really that long ago?
Plunging attacks can be ur best in this game.
Y'all were taught about the plunge attack during the first boss. I love how they keep hesitating on using it. Hehe.
This guy can be so frustrating, not only because your mobility is hindered by the arena, but also because you have so much to go through before you can get back to him. He's the real gatekeeper of Dark Souls. If you can't beat him, you won't beat anything else.
Poor souls they don’t know what’s coming
3:16 OMG get rekt bro!! get fucking rekt!!...
0:17 'HE DOES NOT TAKE DAMAGE!'
Me: But...but he does...you dealt 22...thats damage, you numpty. It aint much, but numbers dont lie
2:33 It really works lol
GG
just wait till dlc
Haven't died once to it
YEEEEES
I don't know how far back in time you're looking for blind DS1 boss reactions, but Tin Plated and Notorious BLT have some great ones, though very different styles (one shouty and flaily, the other less funny but way better gameplay.)
M Kay mine was from may 2017 lol
lol yeah I know there are still people playing it blind in 2017, but Inukshook's was from May 2016 so I didn't know how far back they were going.
Make a reaction compilation of the Sif boss battle please.
I'm sure he will. Might take a while though, he's probably going to do the gargoyles next, then Moonlight Butterfly, Capra Demon, Gaping Dragon, Queelag...
Casuals! Do you even praise the sun?
Ok, now i can't wait for pikachu and snorlax lmao
