You take the time to make these compilation vids so why not add a kill count so we know how long it takes these people to actually kill these bosses? Obviously they're not killing the bosses in the same number of tries. I'm sure I'm not the first person to have this pet peeve or bring this up.

The Capra demon can be one of the most intimidating bosses in ds unless u kill him in one hit

This is one of the hardest boss in the game...and the problem isn't even the boss.
i can't get pass this boss the problem isn't the dogs or the boss itself its the actual boss area you get trapped every 5 seconds
@@LoneWanderer-101 The room is actually pretty spacey. It's the dogs that's the problem. Soon as they're gone, all your problems go away. . . . unless for whatever reason you corner yourself and/or try to block his double handed swings with shield with poor stability or inadequate stamina.
So yeah you need to get to the stairs, and kill those dogs.

I just beat him after like 50 deaths. once I got to the gaping dragon ill admit I died twice to it however I finally realized how to beat it and omg was it relief to fight a not impossible boss.
One thing I’ve learned to love about dark souls 3 after having started this game is how the enemies don’t chase me for an eternity.
I fucking swear the monsters in dark souls 1 will chase me down to the end of the world. Doesn’t matter if I’ve been in a boss room for half an hour, when the boss is dead I’ll be swarmed by an entire army of things I’ve run past.

You're correct, but I actually prefer that about Dark Souls 1, because the enemies in DS3 can reach the end of their range and then be easy pickings for cheesing them with magic.

Considering a regular playthrough, with the Asylum Demon you only do it once, and although there's many a chance to do it again you only ever consider it again until the Taurus Demon, which can be beaten without it, from there there's really not that much that really refreshes that knowledge again other than the boar in Undead Parish, which is still far away from the Capra Demon.
She's wearing eastern armour, meaning she got through the door that cost 20000 souls... so how In the hell does she not remember the attack button when she's falling

That first time we all entered the Capra demon room.
Semi-wish a reaction was included in this vid where you find out the Capra demon is just a regular enemy and you were a scrub, one you get to Demonsville.
Could always be later video, "Reaction to Bosses That Are Enemies" or something like that.
Actually, it's more like From got to Demonsville and said "Fuck, we're out of development time, what are we going to do for enemies here? Uh, I know, let's just reuse some early bosses!"
Did they actually begin to run out of development time by then? I wasn't aware such an issue existed for the first Dark Souls.
It's common knowledge that most of the second half of Dark Souls was rushed, which is why the levels are often poorly-designed with unoriginal enemies. Lost Izalith was the worst casualty. Why do you think you fight nothing but Undead Dragon asses, repurposed environmental ornaments given the bare minimum of animations necessary to make them dangerous, and a handful of Chaos Eaters? The Demon Ruins was not much better.

I may have gotten lucky with this fight? The dogs immediately charged me and I killed both leaving me with Capra. He wasn’t that bad and I first tried his ass.

God, even watching people beat the Capra Demon is so incredibly satisfying. Beating bosses like this in Dark Souls gives you a rush like no other.
capra demon gave me "holy shit its finally over fuck that" instead of a "hell yeah i managed to kill him so proud of myself" moment, terrible arena, terrible camera, terrible "adds" in form of the dogs, terrible, terrible, utterly garbage runback.
The Capra demon was designed specifically for this spot. This spot is designed to be a newbie crusher. To weed out the people who didn't have a real interest. Many people stopped playing right here.

I have already beat DS several times, I beat Ornstein and Smough in NG plus first try almost no damage... picked up the game a couple weeks ago and got stuck in this boss 😂 ... I also beat Bllodborne and DS3 the hit boxes feel wrong in the capra demon fight for some reason.
That's just a poor excuse for an equaly poorly designed boss.
I love Dark Souls, but Capra Demon is just a poorly designed boss. You fight in a room the size of a box, the camera goes bonkers, there's two dogs on your ass the entire time, and the boss rushes you like a second after you enter the fog. I've beat this game more than a few times and it's still a crapshoot on whether I die in the first five seconds or not.
I remember my newbie-self being so frustrated from that boss fight back then.

I’ve played all the souls games apart from DS1 so I bought it, and loved it. But I have never raged more than fighting the Capra demon holy shit man
As soon as you enter the arena run up the stairs, try to separate the demon from the dogs. Kill the dogs first, if the demon goes up the stairs you go down if he's down go up. Once all the dogs are dead this is easy. You can also cheese this boss by throwing fire bombs from outside.

Here in my 2x2 room, just got these two dogs. Its fun stalking it up here in Undead Burg waiting for Chosen Undead...

You know, I never used a plunging attack on the Capra Demon. It honestly never crossed my mind. I just stood on that ledge, and rained bombs I stockpiled from above lol
I always thought this boss was overrated. Getting there is more annoying then the actually boss fight.
I've beaten this game a few times and I think this is honestly my least favorite boss. This fucker and his backup dancers gank you in this fucking closet and it gives me nightmares

I actually think this could be a really good boss fight if the *FUCKING DOGS WEREN'T THERE.* Excluding times where the dogs were still in the fight, I only actually died once to the Capra Demon, and it was due to me running out of stamina and not being able to block the slam attack.
_Including_ dogs, I died maybe 9 times, and the majority of those were right at the fog wall due to me getting instantly corner trapped.

Its like spawning in the corner of a dark cell in a prison full of inmates who want to gang bang you. I try to run, i try to roll, I try to heal and yes, I try to take care of the dogs first. But i cant even move or have long enough to do anything before I have to heal again!

I love the capra demon boss fight, it's not really a difficult boss and its forte (like with many other bosses) is intimidation, big swings, tiny room, 2 fast minions that cause bleeding, wich makes you panic because of the big red words on screen, attacks slightly more difficult to dodge (specially for new players). Once you get over the panic (or find the cheese spot) the boss becomes more approachable
Sif is another boss that I like, because I went there fairly early and it taught me to not panic (or at least to detect that I'm panicking and then calm down), not to fear a boss just because it's giant and that rolling towards a boss is usually a good idea
The first time I met this boss, I surprisingly survived almost a minute before getting brutally mauled by the damn dogs. The second time, I predictably within the first 5 seconds, and third time was the charm. The boss itself isn't hard, but the fight is decided within the first couple seconds and if you get bad RNG, you can pretty much kiss your ass goodbye and prepare for an annoyingly long walk back.

From soft: yea let’s just put a 8 ft tall demon in a room with 2 powerful swords and we’ll also put two aggressive dogs in a small arena
As much as I complained about Capra Demon in my first playthrough, looking back it's a pretty good trial-by-fire for new players. Teaches them how to get around disadvantageous environments, and to take advantage of, erm, advantageous environments
If this was the first boss...I truly believe most would never have finished the game....but because the game was so great leading up to this point people were able to overlook this
this boss was really easy for me. i understand the struggle of the small room but i just found it easy to block, attack, roll and then repeat
If they took out the dogs made the arena bigger and maybe made him have a more diverse moveset this fight wouldve been pretty good
This fight is pretty bad because most of the difficulty comes from the camera angles and the clunky movement. They could make it unfair but this is a bad way to do it imo.

I think the real problem here is that the player has basically no poise at this point, and hereby constantly stunlocked by the dogs.
This fight feels like it's straight out of Dark Souls 2. Bullshit arena and multiple enemies.
The only thing it's missing is a instand death hole on the ground.
dark souls 2 doesn't have a single bossfight that gives u so little room.
U could argue that the ruin sentinels fight does that but at least the camera is fine there AND THERE ARE NO FUCKING DOGS (I hate them with passion)

Capra demon was crap just like all the lazy bosses with extra enemies in DS2 were crap.

Man, I've never died to Capra Demon, and it was very easy kill him on first playthrough, but I think it's my playstyle, cuz I died like 6 times to Taurus Demon, and people usually find Capra a lot harder than Taurus

The hard thing about this boss is not the demon, but the dogs. Try to avoid the boss for as long as possible and kill the dogs, then attack the goat

I never had trouble with DS bosses- psrt of it was because I actually found out about DS through youtube and thus a lot of it was spoiled for me. Even O and S died on my first try.
This fucker, though? I hated him. I hated him and I understood DS's reputation the fifth time I died to him because of his stupid boss areana.
However, I also understood why people loved the game after I beat him... Because that rush was ORGASMIC!
It was like I was a kid again, beating super metroid for the first time... That adrenalin. That rush. The relife and the triumph and the joy.
It made me feel young again.
Sometimes I think I’m bad at dark souls as a new player, but then I see other first time players and realize I’m a demigod in this game.

All I will say is. The Capra Demon was a bitch. The only boss other then Martyr Logarius that made me want to quit, but I didn't then and will never. Dark Soul is amazing, thank you FromSoft. Miyazaki is a God among Men.

The Capra Demon was not hard the fucking stunlocking dogs were, and with a swinging weapon you cant kill them on top of the stairs because you just hit the wall, they just put three aggressive creatures is an enclosed area and said Fuck It! And I still love this game.

I think they should have left out the dogs. Yes, this fight would be ridiculously easy without them, but it would be a lot more fair in my opinion.

I forgot to unlock the shortcut, so I stucked with 5 estus flask, having to run through the whole lower undead burg, and when I finally killed his two dogs, I was left with only 2 estus :/

Gods, this encounter. I solved it by charging through and then chucking bombs at the dogs. Took me a couple of deaths to come up with that strategy.
