Love how Sonos always is ahead of improving audio in the industry and always find new ways to keep one up-ing themselves. Can’t also forget how open they’re ecosystem is to be compatible with basically every device or service.
I ditched my audio receiver and wired speakers years ago when I first bought a playbase, which is still going strong today. I love the Sonos wireless capability and have moved my 1s on stands to where I want music. Bathroom for long soaks...backyards for parties.... I now have a pair of 300s which I have in the dining room/kitchen to listen to music. I have become a Dolby Atmos/360 junkie listening to only spatial audio now. Very fulfilling, don't think I can go back to standard Def music anymore.
The sound coming out of those speakers is just on another level.

Is the Dolby atmos built in where you can’t have music without it?
Love their ease of use and ability to have music flow throughout our home. Have an Arc, sub gen 3, and two SLs for my rears, but bought the 300s to replace as rears. Looking forward to hearing them soon!

Fortuitous that this comprehensive review popped up on my Google page. I stared with one Sonos 1 speaker. I’ve since added the Beam, Sub-Mini and several more Sonos 1 SL to the experience. But THIS…is what I need for my office space. The gift card would definitely get me there much more quickly.

For music depends on what track you are playing some tracks are very well made for spatial audio and those tracks sounds phenomenal

Back in 2019 Ikea gave us their Sonos Speaker as a Christmas gift. That got me hooked. Before I left Ikea, I bought enough speakers for my house.
Sonos are great speakers and my home theater system is wireless. Best system I have ever owned.
I have two residences. One of my homes has three TVs and they all are connected to Sonos. Rear speakers, sound bar and subwoofer. My other house has three TVs with the same setups. I purchased three sets of era 300s. Obviously, I love Sonos. Thanks to Geek Squad because they need to set them up for perfect sound.
I got a Beam and two Era 300's for my work office. It's amazing!
I love the Sonos walled garden, just the setup being able to get everything in one app, and share your music everywhere.
I dont have Sonos right now, but looking to move soon and will get soundbar and some speakers for the house... Cannot wait.

Sonos for me is the best combination of Sound Quality, Tech Implementation, and Features that’s on the market. They’re whole home audio system with it’s plethora of upgrade options and flexibility is 2nd to none! I bout my first speaker in Jan. 2022, and now I own around 9 of them 😂
Simple and concise review. I really enjoy my 7.1.4 Sonos system. I am debating about adding a second Gen 3 sub. Thoughts?
The best part about having Sonos is that I can play music and talk on the phone, text, play games and it doesn’t interrupt the sound
I’ve been a sonos customer since they started ! I have a the arc with 2 play 3 and a sub but my boss just gifted me one era 300 , I bough the second one to use as sound-round for the tv . Spatial audio and Dolby Atmos sound like you’re floating in a galaxy while listening just to the sound of the instruments if you know what I mean .

The opening race in Ready player one. I only installed my 2 x 300's as rear's 2 days ago, so still going through content and yep, that opening scene was nuts!!!

I have a Sonos Beam with the square subwoofer and it truly sounds amazing. Set up was easy yeah, airplaying to it in an instant is super cool. The beam is all I need for a room, it does a crazy good job tuning within a living room
I have a Sonos beam 2 and it’s the first time I feel I have a soundbar that’s trying to solve my audio issues. My room is approx 500 square feet and it does a decent job giving audio to the front half the half facing towards tv. Not sure if it’s room filling for the latter half but I don’t need it to be. Years ahead of bose tv speaker.

I like the sonos ecosystem. Just how all speakers connect seamlessly with one another. I already have a sonos move in my living room and 2 Sonos one speakers, The era 300 would make a more awesome and streamlined audio experience.

Sonos is wonderful. I have two Sonos One speakers as a stereo pair and I have a Sonos Roam and Sonos Move as well. I'd like to see an Era 300 in person tested with a good spacial audio track to determine if I want one. I'm sure it does stereo tracks well too.

You can’t go wrong with that match. i’ve had several analog surround systems in the past, always with very small, dinky rears - like they were an afterthought. The 300s put the rear channels on equal footing with the energy and dynamism coming from the front. It’s such a rich, immersive experience that I’ve only ever had in a theatre. I just need a sub to complete the puzzle.

Well, I just bought the 300’s to upgrade my ones….AND bought a second system for my other room. Was not tracking a discount to upgrade.
Yes but how are they in a surround pairing ? We know we can pair them but how do they sound when you do with the arc ?
When playing music I prefer a stereo pair of 300 than arc with 300s as surrounds
My existing living room sound bar set up died a few months ago, and I'm just waiting before I can pull the trigger on one of Sonos' sound bars 👀
I have the Arc, dual Gen 3 subs, and Fives as rears. It sounds pretty good with 5.1 and Atmos content. I can wait to see if Sonos comes out with Era 500 or maybe a Arc version 2 down the road.

Hi. Did you try to connect the speaker to AppleTV and try to play some Dolby Atmos content like Disney+? Will it work?

Love Sonos new usb c in line on eras 100 or 300, no need to buy extra equipment to connect my turntable
The issue with expensive smart speakers is they have an EOL/EOS, my play base no longer supports ERA100/300 in a surround environment. It seems that Id have to refresh my lineup every 6-7years if I continue the Sonos route :(

I just picked up two Era 300s and an Arc, using 300s as rears… Incredible sound, definitely a major step up from the Homepods I had before.
I’m curious if using 300s as a front stereo pair for music would be a big improvement over my current configuration?
I had some issues getting 300s to connect to my old router at first, so I’m a bit hesitant to change anything when I’m not that familiar with the app or Sonos ecosystem yet.
So how would I hook up my turntable to two Sonos Eras 300s?
I have big tower speakers and these would be better for the space

I used to have to original sonos but they discontinued software support of them. Which is a shame when you spend over 1,000 on speakers and then they become unsupported

I just got those Era 300s to replace my one SLs for my arc i wonder how much of a upgrade these will bring on the overall sound, Sonos is great for it's size and it sounded quite good for a soundbar like the arc i am using for my room setup, it might not be the best as compare to a true surround system but for it's size and the price i would say is great...
