Absolute classic, pure art… will be remembered, and will stand the test of time, because it is timeless, balanced, subtil and true… bullseye, thank you Denmark
They let the public in to watch Eurovision rehearsals at The Point Depot that year. I was lucky enough to be there. Saw Aud Wilken perform this and was captivated. One of the most memorable songs from Eurovision past. Still love it today.
Gosh I realised how high quality and unique Eurovision 1995 was! This song from Denmark, ofc winner Norway, Poland, France, Greece, Turkey, Spain and many more were seriously original, geniune and different from average Eurovision songs...
Yeah Aut is....I don't know she most be extremely damaged. I grew up in the same house, having her father around. And he completely fucked up my childhood. He is the worst person I ever meet. I was so scared of him, when I left my home I stood and listened at the door to be sure I wouldn't bump in to him, he literally made my childhood something I still think of with fear.
This is the BEST 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰 entry ever in Eurovision. As I am 🇸🇪 I understand the words to 70-80% because the amazing Singer is singing slow and clear. Bless 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰. 👍💪
For me a wonderful song that I always remember since I heard it the first time. But "Fly On The Wings Of Love" is also unforgettable. I remember having the goose bumps when they sang it and the audience reacted immediately positive to the song. A wonderful moment in the history of Eurovision.
27 years ago I didn't like this song at all and I was surprised with so good result for Denmark! Today I think it's one of the best Eurovision songs from 90s and it was underrated. ☺
Classy, great, sophisticated song! So much better than what they usually enter. More quality. After many bad NFs / ESC-entries, Denmark was very good in 1995
I'm from Ireland and I agree. The Spanish performance was also superb that year, and obviously Norway. On the whole, a lot of great entries in 1995, but this one was truly different and quite special.
Aud was so fantastic, and I just love the song - among the best that we have send to ESC. I was on vacation in Switzerland that night, lived on a small hotel - they had a TV-Room, and were watching the final that night. I was so proud, when everybody was loving our entry :D
jlhabitan50 And they all have one composer in common. Lise Cabble! She has also written one of the entries in the Danish preselection this year - “Human”. On march 7 we shall find out if this will be this years Danish entry for Eurovision.
12 Puntazos!!!!!!!
Back then in 1995, being a twelve year old big fan of ESC, I didn't really like this song and thought of it as boring. How stupid I was... Now, more then twenty years after, I've realized how cool this song is. I've learned to appreciate it. And I really like it now. Unlike ESC which became a joke... Thank god it's music that matters.
"From Mols to Skagen" Let me know when, All the trains depart For I want to wake up with you The snow has locked me now Only a winter from here Cold and freezing clear Send me your thoughts For my heart is beating From Mols to Skagen From Mols to Skagen From Mols to Skagen I miss you and your silk sheets And breakfast on blue balconies No wild swans exist While the snow descends You were it all for me Now I’m quiet and pale You’re the sun’s emperor My dreams travel From Mols to Skagen From Mols to Skagen From Mols to Skagen I miss you and your silk sheets And breakfast on blue balconies No wild swans exist While the snow descends Silk sheets And breakfast on blue balconies No wild swans exist While the snow descends Silk sheets And breakfast on blue balconies No wild swans exist While the snow descends (Mols and Skagen are two places in Denmark)
One weekend I didn't have much to do, so I listened to those short clips from every song performed by every country ever in Eurovision, picked my favourite from every country; then I listened to the full versions of all those songs to find the best one, and it turns out this is my most favourite one. Can't say I disagree with myself 😆
Første gang jeg hører denne sang. Noget af en forandring i forhold til Tommy Seebach. God sang, arrangement og performance. Studieversionen lyder flad og kedelig i forhold til denne live version.
wait genuine question, what did the comentator say about Denmark at the beginning of the performance? good song tho, eurovision 1995 still one of the best.
For me, there are 3 stand-out songs from this year: 1) Denmark: the best overall. 2) Cyprus: very dramatic, but also very good. 3) Sweden: also great. A bit weird (just like Denamrk), but slightly worse than this one.
All complete bullshit. Depends on the political climate of who wins. It has nothing to do with what is the best song Most of what was on this thread song wise is appalling !

How lucky you were to be there !
I agree
So unique and amazing song from Denmark. Always remember this and love this song.
Gosh I realised how high quality and unique Eurovision 1995 was! This song from Denmark, ofc winner Norway, Poland, France, Greece, Turkey, Spain and many more were seriously original, geniune and different from average Eurovision songs...
agreed!! 1995 is a golden year!! the orchestral arrangements are superb
I went to Skagen last week!!! Always wanted to go there after listening to this song in 1993
One of Denmark’s best entries ever! Love it!
This song and Poland are my fav entries on this edition. They both have this alternative/indie-ish flair that I really love. Just simply beautiful.
Sounds so magical, the backing vocals are really enjoyable.
indeed!! best backing vocals of that year
I’ve loved this song for almost thirty years, with love from Ireland ❤️
Three minutes of heaven
Amen to that 🙏. ☁️ 🌌☁️
Probably one of the best Danish entries, from when there was music you could actually listen to in Eurovision.

Bless 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰. 👍💪
what are you talking about?@@Dannyboy314
Probably the best Danish entry ever. Very suggestive and rhytmic.
Second best after "Dansevise". Still, both are far better than any recent entries.
I think this song is the best or the second best. The best is Higher Grounds or this.
For me a wonderful song that I always remember since I heard it the first time. But "Fly On The Wings Of Love" is also unforgettable. I remember having the goose bumps when they sang it and the audience reacted immediately positive to the song. A wonderful moment in the history of Eurovision.
@@RioMuc Yes, Olsen Brothers are amazing!
Hear, hear. Still a precious song after all these years.
A brillant song about impatient waiting for spring to come.
One of the most original songs ever in Eurovision in my opinion - oh for these standard now!
I wish this was available on spotify 😢
In Denmark it is 😊
Who would have thought the composer of this song would go on to write Only Teardrops and Love Is Forever many years later.
One of my absolute favourites
27 years ago I didn't like this song at all and I was surprised with so good result for Denmark!
Today I think it's one of the best Eurovision songs from 90s and it was underrated. ☺
Simple, beautiful and well performed!!! Should have won!!!!!
Classy, great, sophisticated song! So much better than what they usually enter. More quality. After many bad NFs / ESC-entries, Denmark was very good in 1995
This song deserved a top 3. I’m Spanish and I don’t understand any word, however the song is magical and the atmosphere is amazing. x
I'm from Ireland and I agree. The Spanish performance was also superb that year, and obviously Norway. On the whole, a lot of great entries in 1995, but this one was truly different and quite special.
This song is written by the same team as Denmark's winning entry from 2013, "Only Teardrops".
And "A New Tomorrow" and "Love Is Forever"! :-D
Not the same team - but Lise Cabble were on both songs ;-)
I love when all the performers sung in their native languages. It's part of the unique culture of each country. I miss that.
😓

Best song that our friends in Denmark have sent to Eurovision!
So atmospheric... amazing performance
One of the best songs of Eurovision contest...
So true and the BEST song ever in eurovision from the beautiful country of 🇩🇰. 👍👍
Probably one of my favourite entries ever
best denmark song in eurovision
A lot of years ago, but unforgetable, wonderful, thank you so much!
This is by FAR the best danish entry. If it was not for Nocturne, I d wish this had won. From Greece
nope..it wasn't the best Danish entry
Alex Ch It was :P
In my opinion that was the best entry:
ua-cam.com/video/20yFwjlc11A/v-deo.html
Alex Ch meh
that was in 1990. back then the songs were more simple..anyways the best song for 1995 was the Spanish one which it came second.
Before New Tomorrow, Only Tear Drops, and Love is Forever, there's Fra Mols til Skagen.
jlhabitan50 And they all have one composer in common. Lise Cabble! She has also written one of the entries in the Danish preselection this year - “Human”. On march 7 we shall find out if this will be this years Danish entry for Eurovision.
Best entry for denmark love this song from Greece

Most of the mid 90s eurovision entries seem to be quite cool by the way
Wedrowny GrajeK Haha. Exactly the same for me! I were 12 in 95 and big fan of Esc and I did not understand this at all. but now i really like it!
The same with me! :D
Same here!
Agree on everything but ESC being a joke nowadays. There are a lot of gems among the many entries every year
"From Mols to Skagen"
Let me know when,
All the trains depart
For I want to wake up with you
The snow has locked me now
Only a winter from here
Cold and freezing clear
Send me your thoughts
For my heart is beating
From Mols to Skagen
From Mols to Skagen
From Mols to Skagen
I miss you and your silk sheets
And breakfast on blue balconies
No wild swans exist
While the snow descends
You were it all for me
Now I’m quiet and pale
You’re the sun’s emperor
My dreams travel
From Mols to Skagen
From Mols to Skagen
From Mols to Skagen
I miss you and your silk sheets
And breakfast on blue balconies
No wild swans exist
While the snow descends
Silk sheets
And breakfast on blue balconies
No wild swans exist
While the snow descends
Silk sheets
And breakfast on blue balconies
No wild swans exist
While the snow descends
(Mols and Skagen are two places in Denmark)

What a beautiful song to find during lockdown
Yeah
Loved it from the first time hearing
Awesome entry! Some magical vibe there
aud wilken was a goddess in dublin 1995.
Beautifull song
Unfassbar gut
my favourite !
In these quarantine days, this song is relaxing me. Thanks a lot once more after 25 years...
! Best Denmark Entry !
nope
Lovely!
Bellísima, una gema de canción. Me encanta ese ritmo sincopado y la atmósfera que logra.
This is a great great song! Not eurovision style, but such a masterpeace :)
Great song!
one of the Very best !
Bring back real fun Eurovision with people singing in their own language 🙂
So true and Amen 🙏 to that! All countries should performance in their native language. 👍👊
Wonderful voice!
Amazing entry. One of the best Danish entry but there are few other great too like Fly on the wings of love,Skibet skal selje i nat and Dansevise
Just when you thought that the 90s eurovision couldn't impress you any further BOOM FRA MOLS TIL SKAGEN
Første gang jeg hører denne sang. Noget af en forandring i forhold til Tommy Seebach. God sang, arrangement og performance. Studieversionen lyder flad og kedelig i forhold til denne live version.
maravillosa canción, emocionante
Many people hated it back then, but 30 years it's still a great song. Other more popular songs are almost unlistenable today.
I like this!
Hvis du rejser nu koster det 310kr på rejsekortet
pure class
Aud Saskia Wilken was an interesting star. In my opinion she was a quite pleasant presence. A very generous nature.
Denna var ju riktigt bra!
Canción vanguardista y a la misma vez folk para 1995.....muy original¡
this song got 5th 🥰
Wat n heerlijk nummer.....prachtigggggggg!!
dejlig sang -dejlig stemme 😘
I adore this ❤️
Aud Wilken sang this song beautifully and this should have won the eurovision song contest 1995.
Har nu aldrig kunne lide den sang. Men sådan er vi jo så forskellig
Love the Eurovision but do prefer it more years ago..simpler,less politics etc...nice song this one :)
Still love this performance by Aud. I've listened to diferent versions by her, but this was by far the best performance
From Croatia.... Still one of my favorites. 😊
wait genuine question, what did the comentator say about Denmark at the beginning of the performance? good song tho, eurovision 1995 still one of the best.
Kan man önska mer av en låt😙
Brilliant wee tune this, beautifully sung
0:19 is it only me or did you hear that someone shouts "Fra Mols Til Skagen"
This song is about sentimental train ride between two towns in Northern Denmark that in reality are only connected by road. Sorry to kill the magic!!
Den bedste Grand Prix sang, der er skrevet. Og så med geniale Rune Olesen på Percussion. 🌞👍🏻
This song turns 30 this year 😳
And years before Eurovision became the great gay party/pride show it is today.
A damn good minimalistic song…
Hey Aut and tanja. I cant imagine the damage john did to you, thinking how much damage he did to me!?!?
Great song. So many great entries that year but in my opinion Nocturne was not in top 5
Godt jeg aldrig har været med i melodis Gran pix
It was so good yet only took twelves from Norway and Sweden 🥱
It looks to me like her dress is inspired by Egtvedpigen
I m from the Netherlands...but untill this day I hate the comments by Paul de Leeuw...glad he's no longer involved in ESC
What's he saying here? (apart from "here is Denmark")
Apparently, his comments before the Israeli entry prompted outrage; may I ask what he said?
a mistery how a nation capable to send such class to Eurovision at last shares votes with the swedish poor stuff .
Better times where the countries sang using their native languages and not all English like today.
For me, there are 3 stand-out songs from this year:
1) Denmark: the best overall.
2) Cyprus: very dramatic, but also very good.
3) Sweden: also great. A bit weird (just like Denamrk), but slightly worse than this one.
What was weird about swedens pop song? :P
@@johny7even I think the singer's voice was a bit weird (pretty high), but weird in a good way: he pulled it off very well!
@Tackematics It was an awesome song, but I dont see anything weird about it but I get what you mean
🇩🇰
Hvem er kommet hertil fra Anders Hemmingsen?
🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰 👍💪👍
Tout à fait mélitant

Suddenly had to come back and check on this song. Yup … still bloody annoying.

Den skulle hedde pinen og plagen.
