It was my favourite song in 1995. I don't understand how our Spanish jury didn't vote any point to Israel that year (we usually appreciate songs from Israel in ESC). On the other hand, they gave their 12 points to Spain. Although our song was more successful, I prefer "Amen".

It's a song of prayer. Of believing in human spirit. "Give us life and protect us Let our love come true Give us a blessing and light our face Open our hearts that we will always sing to you." 😇
I remember that year. People were so annoyed at Eurovision for not letting Liora have candles on stage. It ruined a great deal of the effect, having her sing on an empty stage. It was deemed a fire hazard. Funny considering the stuff they have on there today.
It was weird, considering the fact RTE used pyro during the opening of this Eurovision. Nonetheless, I really loved the Irish Eurovision productions during the nineties.
Me encanta. Bonita voz, bonita melodía. Atractivo coro. Orquestación impresionante, grandiosa. Una canción muy digna de representar a Israel. Un auténtico himno triunfal, como decía Uribarri. Amén.
The "with live orchestra" mention in the title is interesting. It actually was the last time in Eurovision history that the Israeli entry was performed with an orchestra, because Israel did not participate in both the following 96 and 97 competitions, used playback for the 1998 competition and starting from Eurovision 1999 held in Israel orchestras were completely abolished.

The best Eurovision song ever, I want to hear this at my funeral

Really do you think you're going to be able to hear something at your funeral?
This song becomes meaningful and moving these days of craziness and cruelty. Let's pray for peace!!
Allright. I agree. Super song!!!
This song makes clear how cruel and soul-less a people can get, when being assured of living "in truth".

Actually music isn't allowed to be live anymore since 1999. In 1998 they were allowed to choose, but before it was all live
Explain Spain 1990 then?
Only a small part of the music was a playback. There was also an orchestra playing the song. And the backing track was a rarity
Apart from that is patently incorrect.
When the music cuts out you can hear what the orchestra is playing and it really isnt that much.
