Can I suggest that you place your chips in a plastic bag then put oil on them shake then put in air fryer. Chips and Crisps you might know them has Crisps as chips and Chips as you call them French fries the problem with putting French in front of fries is those were made in Belgium not France fact. In Britain we have cook books that go back 1100's and 1200's with cheese cake,apple pies and so on. We have been making this way, since the early 1500's CE that's chips and crisps. You can go on line and look at some of these books that have been recorded on video from the British library who has almost every book written by Britain's.
I love making oven fries and just got the Vortex with the basket. I'm trying out the basket for the first time tonight, thanks for the video. Random side note: Those gloves remind me Mickey Mouse ;)
@@puresicilian5617 anyone have trouble keeping the basket rotating. I had to reset mine about 15 in an 18-minute cycle. I am mechanically inclined, and this seems to not be difficult, but it never keeps rotating for longer than 2 minutes.

What degrees?
375 or 400
You should put the potatoes in before it heats up. Much safer and easier.
