Miss Jill, you are the sweetest person to mention me. I do miss you too, especially when you haven't done a video and I love what you create. I miss the original TV Guide also. But then again, my husband also has the remote control glued to his hand. He even falls asleep with it in his hand. Not kidding. Anyway, I am happy that you were just reorganizing your craft room, and that you are happy and well. So now do you know what I am going to ask, yes, you guessed, we need a craft tour. 🥰. Do you have the link for your craft mat? Would like to one soon. Going to check the link for the stamps and dies. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💖💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Hi Miss Rose, you made me laugh with the TV controller glued to your husband's hand and falling asleep holding it. Hahahaha. Anyways, great idea about a craftroom tour. That's gonna happen, for sure. Lol here is a link to the craft mat I bought. Fiskars Self Healing Cutting Mat, 24inch x 36inch Rotary Craft Cutting Board for Crafts Hobby Fabric Scrapbooking Projects a.co/d/fGwV37G I needed the 24 by 36. It's large. Lol, also, my Walmart has the same exact one for the same exact price. Maybe your local Walmart has one too. 🤔 hope that helps. Double hugs
I am like you, Jill, I am a "flipper" for stamps and dies. Now for the digitals, I recently found my organization. I created an "Etsy Purchase" board under my Pinterest account. The main thing is that you need to select the "SECRET" toggle as it cannot be shared with the community. Then I upload every digital as a Pin and I can browse my files on my laptop. It is awesome because they are easy to view but they are also safe from me loosing them. As a backup I also printed them at 50% size and have them on a cable ring. Your bear is everything!!!
Omg Celine, that is brilliant. I am going to do the pintrest board thing. Genius. I really should have printed everything at 50% too....... that's a great idea. But I went all in at 100%, lol 😆 great tips Celine, thank you for sharing them. 😊 hugs
Oh Miss Jill, Ive been worried about you too. So good to see you and that you are well. you’ve just been reorganizing and giving us all the details on the organization we need too! Great job! Another tip is that you can also purchase the floor vent magnetic sheets and cut them to size for the cases and the magnet sheets are thick and work very well. You can purchase those at Walmart, Lowe’s or Home Depot. I also used a couple of sheets and hung them on a small wall in my craft room and that’s where I store the larger dies that I don’t use often, but I can see them! THE BEARS….OH MY WORD! I love the little furry sculptures! We MUST see more! One last thing, I agree with Ms. Rose, we need to see a video of your entire craft room once you are fully reorganized! HUGS❤
First, great magnetic hack with the magnetic floor vents. And hanging a magnetic sheet for the long dies. I have a few that are like 10 inches long, and now I know how to store them. I am going to hang a magnetuc sheet somewhere, great tip. You know the craftroom tour is gonna happen, Yup. Hahahahaha. I appreciate all the concern, but I am fine. I actually enjoy organizing my craftroom. I love buying stuff, I always find that great stuff when I organize my room. I am usually amazed at the cool stuff I bought. Hahahahahaha. Hugs
I have a mahogany roll top from the 1920's. I use the bottom drawers because my husband can't lift the top and take it up stairs!!! The drawer on the top unit are rather small so I don't mind. My desk is very messy and I just keep piling more on top! Thank you for sharing your ideas. I, too, am a Vibe of Vintage fan and I own most of her stuff.
I agree she is such a gem. I love her to pieces. Lol. My roll top desk is most likely from the 80's. But it's like 5 foot tall and has so many tiny draws. Lol. But it is a lovely desk, and we can not move it so..... 🤷♀️lol.
What an awesome idea of creating reference sheets of your digitals, Jill! I need to do this too! Thank you so much for taking the time to share how you share your new organizational methods! You have a wonderful weekend too!
Oh thank you, Robyn, ❤️ I sure hope you are having a great Mother's day weekend. 😊 one of my subscribers ( west bound pony ) said she copies her digitals like I do, only she prints hers at 50% size. To save ink or for easier storing. But I thought that was a great tip. Go and enjoy your mother's day weekend. Hugs
Hi Sheila, here is the exact listing I bought from. (50) CheckOutStore Plastic Storage Cases for Rubber Stamps (Clear/Spine: 14 mm / 8 Tabs) a.co/d/azUgHGQ I see he now has tab- less ones. (50) CheckOutStore Plastic Storage Cases for Rubber Stamps (Clear/Spine: 14 mm/No Tabs) a.co/d/ewwKR3o Hope that helps. Hugs
I use the hard cases as well. I store matching dies and stamps together in one case. You can buy cases with the magnetic sheet already in them. Love it.
Thank you for the great info on the magnet case combo. 😀 that would totally be easier. And storing the stams and matching diesel in the same case is sooooo handy. Thanks for sharing your tips and hacks. Hugs
How soon can you leave??? I will send you an airplane ticket to Florida…we have a guest room which is also our office and craft room… this way you can finish organizing my stuff and take a nap when needed… Let me know… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, I am so jealous…I began the very same task, worked for several days and got bored…🤣🤣🤣 I am very proud of you… and, I am also relieved to know that you are fine, I was concerned… you normally pop up on my feed and I have seen nothing of you… Biggest Hugs❤❤❤
