I love Nando, my absolute favourite driver of all time but I don't really share his optimism on this season. He was on target for P8 or P9, hardly a reason to celebrate. \
Ferrari was so much more realistic with engineer calmly stating: "P1 Seb P1" and Vettel responding "we have work to do but we are getting there".
First race of the season mate, and Haas has the advantage over Renault, McLaren and Force India xd

Patrick Star Ferrari lied to Kimi to make him pit early. There was plenty of life in those tires still as seb hadn't pitted yet and usually Kimi is the better one manging the tires. That was the reason he was angry.
He can be angry as much as he wants, but he's driver n.2 and when the team needs a diversified strategy to win the race, he's gonna have to do it.
FFS.. just give Kimi the car in one piece.

I would love that too, but don't get your hopes up. The team is probably going to push Vettel for WDC again. As a Kimi fan it's hurts seeing the team treating him like this. So as long as Kimi can finish his race, I'm happy with that
I kinda disagree. The strategy calls, that were made, were the same as in 2017 in regards to the lead car. Issue was, that this time Kimi was the lead car, so Seb had to go long. Last season Kimi got burned by that several times, but this time it fell perfectly into Vettel's hands.
Kimi should get a rabbit's foot, a horse shoe, and a 4-leaf clover... the amount of bad luck he's had is unreal... Here's to hoping that Kimi gets that elusive win!
@THe Phenome well the preference in strategy is usually given to the lead car like you said but it wasn't the case here. Sure, Kimi pitted first for fresher tyres, but Vettel still lapped faster with the older, softer tyres, so clearly there was still laps in those ultrasofts for Kimi as well. Better strategy would have been to stay out longer as the ultrasofts didn't go off much yet. Vettel still had decent ultrasofts and would have had several laps fresher tyres for the rest of the race after his pit stop, meaning that he could have challenged Kimi and Hamilton for the win towards the end of the race. Or this seemed to be the plan anyway.
Little did Alonso know this year's car is as slow as last year. :(

Yeah Ferarri been fucking over Kimi for a long time, starting with kicking him out and when he returned he has been given horrible strategies and no support from the team. Instead focusing on his teammate and forcing Kimi to help him also.

no. It looked like that in the race, but RBR, Merc and Ferrari are way more ahead. If they have a circuit where it is possible to even think about overtaking someone they will get smoked.

So keep your expectations realistic.....the best Mclaren can do this season is to fight to be 4th best team.

Its pretty clear, Kimi got angry because the team was not informing him early enough that Vettel was lapping faster times than him and had earlier after his pitstop to take it easy....
Ferrari has had the habit before of screwing up Kimi's strategy in the past, so thats why he was quick to anger and say "dont fuck me up with this"

Balnazzardi well, im pretty sure you do not read or watch driver interviews. Alonso claimed that this would be their weakest performance and they have a lot to improve on the car. Due to a tight schedule, they could not bring the upgrades to Aus. In the coming races, they should have it. And for the Qualifications, Alonso and Stoffle goth got blocked out their final run so that was not their best lap times. If you don’t wanna think McLaren can do it, it’s up to you buddy.
