      I think its paramount! NewBeeDrone has excellent service, fast shipping and contactable when I needed to contact them. I would hope to see more American companies to follow suit. Extremely pleased with the products that i have purchased from them and am considering this purchase now. Thank you Nick i feel you always give these things a fair shake.

      Just too expensive to compete, performance is lacking compared to the mobula6, the location is no good for me as I’m in the UK,
      I would prefer to avoid the mass produced Chinese products but nobody can deny that this is an inferior product compared to something like the mobula6 and For me it’s over double the price so it’s a no brainer,
      Keep up the great content Nick and have a very merry Xmas

      I'm in AK so it's always nice that a company is closer but good shipping is a must no matter where's it comes from I sure RDQ a lot because there shipping is grate! And a company that's not just in it for the money is nice bit if it's going going to cost me 50% more os kinda hard to swallow...

    I just got my BeeBrain Brushless. I don't have a problem paying a little more for quality product but I believe this one is horrifically overpriced. I find it hard to believe that for a minimum of $149 you only get a box a piece of foam and the quad. The least they could do is include extra props, a prop tool, and a few extra screws. Another weak point, in my opinion, is the camera at this price level it could have included something much better. At least for me this will be the last time I buy anything from newbeedrone.

    • @NickBurnsFPV

      There is no question the product is expensive, in theory the extra $$ has top level support. IDK

    • @josephbove7477
      @josephbove7477 4 роки тому

      @@NickBurnsFPV So far, no top level support, a really bad tune, a camera that is average and that's being generous and plastic motor wires. If all this testing went into this product why is there only one profile in BF. It seems it's an old low end Toyota masquerading as an Audi A8! I don't mind paying for quality but they give you a box, some foam and a piece of paper with the binding instructions. What's worse the instructions were printed in draft mode and was cut from an 8.5 x 11 sheet of cheap copy paper. I returned my brushless beebrain. It was a huge disappointment. Maybe it's me and I just missed something. But when you compare it to any of the Tinyhawks you get real frustrated. I'm sure it's a great little quad for someone but not for me. Incidentally I do drive an Audi and love my Tinyhawks!

    I already ordered a mobula 6. I could order another one and have a bunch more props, a way to remove said props, like 8 batteries, and also a case for basically the same price.
    That means if something goes wrong I literally have a spare part for it no matter what it is and regardless of how good the service is I don't have to wait for it to be back in the air. Haven't had to deal with happy model customer service yet as my quad flies perfectly and has no issues. I can't imagine NBDs is worth twice the money just for that.

    Too little (or, if you were measuring by weight, too much), too late.
    In eu with shipping it costs us more than double compared to Mobula 6. Video feed also looks pretty bad, Metero65 might have a worse camera than this and mob, but definitely superior vtx. Overall I’d still go with Meteor65 19k version. BetaFPV has been the most reliable out of these 3 companies and their support has come a long way in the last year.

    American company based in the USA, excellent customer service, good quality control. If only we could manufacture these items and more here. I support them and look forward to more from NBD. I'd purchase one but also no one will beat the M6 as it's price point and components in the current market. My buddy and I will likely end up with M6 also. I think it's AIO FC, Cam, vtx, rx would be great for a light 1s toothpick build!

    I have a bunch of brushed and brushless whoops. From the cheap QX65 to ldarc tiny series all of them to newbeedrone acrobee lite. The quality of newbeedrone is at another level compared to any other Chinese product. It flies out of the box, it performs extremely well, even with other brand motors it is just not comparable with any other Chinese product. Now would I buy the brushless version for 150$? Hmm probably not. I have so many whoops already that I wouldn't need another one. But if I had to keep one whoop out of every one I own it would be the acrobee lite. Even though I had to pay full import tax to get it.

  • @goaway4702
    @goaway4702 4 роки тому

    I shrugged this off during the roundup because if Nick Burns says a micro isn’t great then it must be true. Now I can see that, that was said based on it being compared to probably the hottest whoop out there. It does look like a neat whoop but at the price point I think it won’t be the hot commodity. My wife should be delivering our son here in a couple hours so I’m not sure how much whooping I’ll be able to do with a newborn in our house since he’ll now be occupying his room which I’ve been using as a staple in my whoop course lol.

    Hello Nick once again you've done a fantastic job on this video. I wanted to touch on the battery connector subject on weather it had solid pins or rolled beings i have a Beebrain Lite and a Beebrain Pro sitting in front of me. Now i'm not saying they have the same connector as the brushless but they sure do look the same and if that's the case they definitely are Not Solid PINS. i took a magnifying glass to both kawds i have and i can clearly see that they are rolled. Now if go to 6:49 in your video and open full screen you will most likely be able to see why i say that. just looking at the little screen i can see what appears to be a black line on each pin facing towards your thumb that is actually the hollow part of the pin. Please correct me if i'm wrong although that's my opinion. i was curious once you said you were unsure so i looked into it. Now if you don't mind me asking you for your opinion weather the Mobula6 is a better flying kawd than the BeeBrain Brushless id highly appreciate it. Now if you would rather not answer that i totally understand and respect you for that. withh that being said thanks and keep the great videos coming PLEASE.

    • @NickBurnsFPV
      @NickBurnsFPV  4 роки тому +2

      I think you an others are correct on the pins. I thought the dark area under a magnifying glass looked like a cut line. But I was suspicious, so I thought it was right to call it to question. Better will depend on the beholder. I think if you value support and supporting a company in a particular location (US) one could consider this better. Its not bad, in flight it just doesn't compare to the Mobula 6.

      I typically fly on raceband 8, our house has an open floor plan with typical wood and sheet rock construction. Also pilot placement is very important. I am centrally located in the most open section of the floorplan. All this with using the rapidfire module. If I fly from the basement my reception breaks up heavily in the front dinning room, I can fly through it but its not good for about 8 feet.
