It's a bit pricey as I could build a faster Ubiquiti UniFi system for less, however for something that's simple for a non technical consumer to setup it's not bad. Also when dealing with mesh basically divide by 2 per hop so if the main node connects to mesh node 1 at 400Mbps then the throughput from a device connected to mesh node 1 is going to perform around 200Mbps. So to increase that you would need to move the mesh node where it gets a higher speed as a backhaul link speed say 800Mbps then you'll get around half that from your device. With UniFi you can mesh but you can also hardwire the AP's and it'll run at full speeds.
Thanks for the review! these are the entry level solutions, more models are coming soon, and next month (Nov 22) we should have the release of the M32 - AX3200 systems, so a lot more speed and coverage!
Great job with the review👍👍
Thanks for the comprehensive review. Excellent idea to locate a device in the fireplace, and surprised that it still works flawlessly.

Awesome, will be interesting to see what they are like! I’m very impressed at the coverage and speed these were capable of!
Great review. I really like the size of these. Unfortunately didn't work out for me, as you mentioned new build property.
I hear you! New builds can be a nightmare
Very informative, I’ve been considering upgrading my very basic mesh system.
Question in your opinion is this quite futureproof?
Excelente video gracias por la información, mañana mismo me voy a comprar uno , ya están en 100$ ese mismo modelo, saludos desde Venezuela
Very interesting to know about
Thanks! Glad you found it interesting 🙂
Transfer speed?
Hi which one batter tp link M4 vs dlink M15?
Haven’t tried the M4 to be honest but I’ve been quite happy with this M15 system by d link.
