Yes, the black and white pottery piece with the lid with an integrated insert is a butter bell. Butter goes inside the lid (the bell). Add just enough water in the base to cover the bell's opening and to surround the bell. The water keeps air from getting to the butter and the butter stays soft (room temperature). making it easier to spread, while stored in the bell. (The flat lid top also makes it easy to access the butter.) Best if you use the butter in the bell quickly (a few days), so there's little chance of it becoming rancid. 🙂
This is true, however the water encourages mold growth, so butter bells are not recommended for every day use
Thank you! I’m so intrigued by the design now!
Yikes - good to know!
Your second booth is very eye catching!!! Because there is a fair amount of browns, brass, and neutrals, the rich pop of bright colors really keeps one,'s eye moving throughout the booth!!! Very well done!!! The overview of the haul, well...the music, the well displayed finds, and the uniqueness of all the pieces... I am a silly gal...but I get a little teary-eyed when I watch your creative haul!!! Just a silly gal that really appreciates all that u do!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Aww thank you! Yes, I can be a bit more colorful and unique in my new booth, where my other one we all try to stick to a style. And I totally understand being moved by the music when you see beautiful things! I get that way too! I’m a HUGE crier lol.
The lace in the diy project is handmade lace from Brugge in Belgium. Centuries old tradition. This motif is typical of lace made for the tourist market
Thank you for the info!!
So that wasn't a piece of white paper doily?
Hi, I am pretty new to your UA-cam channel and I want to tell you how much I am enjoying watching your videos. I love brass as well, although you find so many more types of brass objects than I find. I just ordered (recently) from your website, a trio of brass candle sticks that I am very eagerly anticipating receiving!!! Even though I have more things than I could possibly ever want or need, I am seriously considering driving from Florida to Oregon just to shop at your thrift stores. Ours are nothing compared to what you find in yours. Looking forward to going back and watching all of your videos and learning more about vintage and antique finds.
Thank you for finding my channel! And for your order - I appreciate it! We really do have great stores in our town. Although I have always heard that Florida has good modern art. I mostly find landscapes here and I do love abstracts.
Lol, Andi, cart envy is a thing!:)
My goodness Andi!!! The Japanese tea set looks so beautiful with the picture above it!!! U are the display Queen!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
I love your booths and the way you showcased your items. I can’t do overcrowded booths and cluttered shelves. I can’t really “see” the items and they get lost!
Agree, things need some breathing room.
I love the two vases. Blue and green with a bit of brown. Gorgeous!!!💚💙🤎
Luv luv luv that hand thrown tea pot!!!! I can't wait to see what you get in Belgium!!!!
Awesome finds, Andi! I love how the wooden candlesticks look together, I must try this ❤️ I’m currently trying to gather enough for a glass set but it’s been months now and I only have 5 😂 I expect to be even slower with the wooden ones, as I don’t find them often. Thanks for the video, great as always ❤️
The wood set just sold for $128. :) Ive wanted to do a glass one too, but usually don’t find as many good ones.
@@AllPutTogether that’s awesome, I’ll definitely try it 😍
I have only recently found your UA-cam channel. I think you’re fantastic! 👍🏼 I also love the artwork behind you. I love the chrysanthemum orange tea pot set. ❤
Thank you so much!
Looks like the bust was worth some good money. Hope you picked it up!
I left it because it was soooooo heavy and I didn’t know if it would do well here. Kinda wish I bought it now tho!
You have such a great eye Andi! Thanks to you, I've expanded my buys into a bit of studio pottery. You are so easily able to spot the difference between vintage and recent items, even when it's an item made by an unknown artist. Any tips for newbies like me on how to know when something that is studio or handmade pottery (vases, mugs, etc) is vintage vs current? Thank you for all your fantastic content. :)
Handmade pottery kinda fell out of fashion after the 70s. People certainly still made it, but it wasn’t as prevalent in interior design, so that’s kinda how I date a lot of pottery pieces. If it’s handmade, it’s probably from that era. However, with studio pottery, people aren’t so bothered about the age of it and like it for what it is, so I generally will pick up any good piece because it will sell.
@AllPutTogether thank you so much for taking your time to reply and for your tips! So kind of you and I'll keep watching more more thrifting adventures! Cheers!
The dude is actually the Virgin Mary!!!
I was going to say this!
Not creepy in the slightest!
Well, I can understand Andi's characterization of the Virgin Mary/Dude!
The figure has been "abstracted" to the point that it has somewhat lost its identification as an image of the Holy Mother, and has taken on the aura of something else entirely...
I would call the style "Expressionism."
I'd say, let the buyer determine what they want it to represent for them. 😊
You JUST showed up in my feed and I’m so happy to see your videos! I only have one thrifters I love to watch and now I have two! Love your choices and your booths, too. It would be fun to see the prices of the pieces you have in them. Again, nice to find you!!!
Yay! Thank you! ☺️
You have a great eye for treasures!
Oh thank you!
Super, truly enjoyed every second of this video!!! Thank u!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
I’m not happy when I see stuff I want in other peoples carts too !!! I like the kitty cat Andi glad u got him
Excellent trip! Nice job!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The frame on the lil dollie is great
Great haul love your booths ❤
Thank you!! :)
Those are spider mums (chrysanthemums) on the orange Asian teapot and cups.
Thank you for identifying!
Love everything that you found. Thanks for a great video 😊😊
Thanks!
I love the doily in that frame!
I enjoy your videos. Congratulations on your growing business.
Thank you so much!
You could be a twin to "Bored or Banana." Enjoy your videos.
Congratulations on your second booth. It looks amazing.
Thank you!!!
That pitcher from Marshall Pottery in Marshall, TX always sells well in my area! I am south of Dallas. Highly sought after here.
Thanks for the tip!
I love you Booths you're so talented you have such good taste and great eye, happy treasure hunting hope you sell a lot of great stuff❤
Thanks so much!
I loved the framed flower basket doily thing! I'm very much into shabby chic which is a bit more "ornamental" than cottage core and the frame was fabulous! I just would have changed the frame and felt color.
After watching the footage when I was editing, I totally regretted not buying it!
Love the ironstone plates in the new booth space. I find SO MANY of these in my local thrift shops (Florida), and they always appeal to me. But they're not the easiest thing to ship, so often I leave them behind...sadly. Every once in awhile I break down and pick some up, especially if I find a really fun color combination. I currently have a lavender set that is pretty unusual (not listed yet), but I do love the orange/yellow/olive green 1970s florals that you have. So fun!
I usually don’t pick up a lot of plates because I hate shipping them too! A lavender set sounds lovely!
Love the butter bell, also that tea set!! Fabulous finds
Thanks so much!
Loved your pickups from goodwill this time around. The teapot set and the other cups and saucers were lovely and different.
Thanks so much! 😊
Your Mugs are Spokane pattern Fabrik. Jim McBride from Seattle in the 70s. You could probably increase the price. Portlandrevival has them available too.
Thank you for identifying them!
That butter dish is awesome!
Beautiful finds. My ceiling looks like yours. The ceiling fan in mine is over 40 years old and still works perfectly.
I believe the "cannon" on that box lid looks more like some type of duck call for hunting or similar.
A duck caller makes more sense! Thank you!
You stage your treasures so well!!
Thank you!!
That wood lid was probably Brazilian rosewood. I always pick it up just because it’s such beautiful wood. My Marshal pottery always sells since I’m in Texas where it was made.
Hey it's Kelly (Aster and Rose) 😊 I recognize those mugs....you remember those mugs that stack together with the wood stand.... taylor bought them estate sale we were all at that's the same artist. I have mugs with the same marking on the bottom 😊 been meaning to list them for so long 😂
hey!!!!! I totally forgot she got them! Haha
Congratulations on your second booth space!!
Thank you so much 😀
Thank you for your videos. In the past month I’ve picked up an Italian gilt tray, a brass pot, and a wicker 3 legged stool (already sold!) for my eBay store. They were all things that I think you would have picked but I might not have looked at before. Especially the stool.
That is awesome! Thank you for updating me. I get inspired watching other resellers too! There are so many things it’s hard to know what will sell sometimes.
The two interesting spookies near each other in the booth.
You can find those green candle sticks everywhere. I bought one and then a couple of weeks later I found another so now I have a set.
Ohhh I wish you had picked up the green glass candle holders! They were vintage. So pretty in group display. Also would have picked up the wood bookends despite the condition. We can’t get that in the mid Atlantic where I live. Love your videos! Good luck with the new booth.
Thank you for watching!
I love your booths! Could 1:41 actually be a monk with folded hands? Thanks for another great episode.
Thank you! I just realized the other day that it actually has writing on the bottom that says it was a Christmas gift so maybe it was Mary!
Andi, you were making me so nervous with everything you were touching. lol but like always great eye and amazing finds! the booth spaces look great!
Don’t worry, I’m generally very careful. ;)
The bust is very sweet❤ Beautiful teapot set😊
The mugs were fabrik which is a great pick up
You are my new favorite.
Thank you so much!!
Just found your channel...you have good taste. Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful booths ❤
Thanks!!
Oh I would have picked up all the Mary’s my love
You need a Stöchen (German for 'tiny stove') to keep your tea hot.
.....🤢 the green with envy feeling you referred to, I get that way too! As re-sellers it happens to us ( AAArrgggg) I just go get my diet coke and than I get over it.
Also... passing over something that you research later and find out it was a BIG DEAL, has happened to me at estate sales!
OMG yes, passing on something that you find out later is valuable is such a knife to the heart! Haha
@@AllPutTogether Thank you for your responses -- Appreciate it! I recently watched your video ( a year ago) when you went to England. My dream would be to send back a container with stuff from England.
My grandfather was English....Manchester.
It will happen one day!
Phew! Urn avoided!
I have a question - how do you clean your brass? I've been finding a ton of brass lately and I've used brasso and I've also had really good luck with ketchup! Thanks for tyrning me back on to brass. I've been having fun sourcing!
Blessings!
I use a combo of white vinegar and Bon Ami. I can’t do chemical smells, so I use the natural stuff and it works great!
Absolutely loved your Hauls from Good Will❤
That butter Bell is quite interesting because it is handmade. But that peach Oriental teapot set was exquisite & such a deal! By any chance do you still have the patchwork cloth Indian elephant 🐘 for sale that was in your booth area? I would love to buy it😊
I have a question please ?
Since you source items from all different kinds of places. How do you handle the question ❓ when it comes to things being exposed to smoke in the past? How does that fit in with your descriptions or your items when you list them. I hope that makes sense. Yes I know you clean items before you ever sell them. But if you're buying really old antique vintage stuff they have most likely been exposed to some smoke in the past. Just curious nothing else. Thanks for sharing 🙏❤️
They elephant already sold - sorry! Regarding smoke, I hate all smells/odors so I usually avoid anything that smells of smoke or perfume. If I do buy something by mistake, I will place it in a garbage bag with baking soda and a couple drops of tea tree oil and it will usually make it fresh again.
@@AllPutTogether thank you for that tip
A lady bought a brass tray 2 mins before me and I felt the SAME way!!!
It’s the worst feeling! I get so mad! Haha
I want the cat!
Andi, Yep butter bell. Perfectly Lovely!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
that box that you decided not to get, i think abigail recently picked one up. she said it was from mexico and they sell small one's like that for over $50....it looked very much like the box she picked up.
Thank you! I will have to ask her about them!
We are so similar in taste! We like the same things. We have great taste😂😂 my front room
Haha yay! Decorating twinsies! ;)
The "creepy" religious guy reminds me of those scary guys from one of the Harry Potter's. Cant remember exactly- maybe deathly hallows?? The ones with no face.
The Dementors! Kind of wraithlike. Similar baddies in "Lord of the Rings."
@@susanalfieri4487 Yes!!! That's it! 😆
100% it looks like that!
I am so jealous of all the religious stuff you got👏I am a sucker for anything religious 🙏
Ive had really great luck finding it lately! It’s so hard for me to not keep it all for myself. ;)
dont sweat it on the clear glass. For me, unless its Orrefors, Val St. Lambert, or Kosta Boda - (Waterford hardly sells for me) or Tiffany's it doesnt sell for me.
Thank you for those maker names! I’m going to look them up and start finally learning about glass!!
You need to look at Amanda’s Mertile
I love her channel!!
That vase was stone.
Ìts the frame I like not that silly dollie
haha now that so many people have said they like the frame, I should have bought it!
Will you be participating in Laura’s flea market
Oregon, ok 👍
Yes, I’m in metro Portland.
❤❤🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Love your channel. I saw some candlewick glassware. You should def learn about that.
Thank you! I am totally going to look that up now! Thanks for the tip.
Don’t be sad that the guy behind you did so well because maybe he was buying it for himself to enjoy! Not everyone is a flipper.
Where are u located
Where r your shops where do u shop
Ran to watch …… my brassy babe ❤
Thank you!!
🩷
Hi, Where on earth are you? 😂
Love the items you find but you sure do A LOT of yakking!
I do love to chat!
I don't mind it! It's ALL good information, and I'm always wanting to learn. 😊
Don’t brake your arm please…
I do like the wooden candle pieces…
Look into the lens to act like you are speaking to US AND NOT YOURSELF !
It's hard when you can see yourself on camera! haha
WHY must these women keep the damn camera ON THEM....ugh.
Because the channel is about ME! ;)

LMAO! 😂
1:47 Someone who talks about giving glory to the "universe" is definitely not someone to trust when they say something is "creepy". What's creepy about it, silly?
It’s her perception, not silly at all. The hollow part under the clothes kinda makes you think of a ghost. Be kind ❤
@@angelasvintageshop no it doesn't to anyone pure of heart. There was nothing unkind in what I said. She was unkind calling that thing "creepy".
3:21 Well, maybe if you were grateful TO GOD instead of his creation, the Universe, you would've gotten those. 😊 just saying
Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed today? That last statement was so unnecessary….you have no reason to say or assume she is not grateful to God.
@@lindafrance9192 if she is then why thank things instead of Him. I have absolutely every reason to say it since she wants to proclaim glory to a thing and not God. Stick your opinion on your own comment. I don't welcome wanna be tyrants in my comment feed.
Wow!
We're really hostile today. 😢
@@cheryldavis8776 this was a month ago sweets, really? You always THIS late, lol? May the Lord bless you and keep you.
@@cheryldavis8776 I wasn't hostile anyway. Do you always go around throwing such shallow wanna be judgements around? You got a Lotta nerve there, sis. You need some Reverence of God just like the person this was originally directed at, again, a month ago. You do you sweets. 1 Corinthians 4:3-5
