I know we like to think about marriage as a romantic notion, but marriage has always been and still is inherently a legal contract between the couple and the state. It is there to ensure everyones rights and responsibilities. In a way the fight for equal marriage rights was/is also a fight for divorce rights. 😅 Divorce is not just a break up, but a legal proceeding that should ensure that assets and responsibilities are divided fairly and lawfully. So yay for equal divorce rights! 😂🙏 (what i would say to that snarky boy in the movie 😄)
I imagine you guys are already across this, but Luke Evans is also in Dan Levy's new film (briefly I guess, he's playing his dead husband) Good Grief, which is out next month.
can u guys do uncoupled? it stars neil patrick harris as a gay guy in his 40s who's just been broken up with by his partner of 17 years, and it's really funny and real. almost the whole cast is gay in the show and also irl.
This movie shows us two really important things; the gay community is finally growing up and also that the differences between homosexuality and heterosexuality are much more minuscule than the similarities.
Love all the diverse, interesting, complicated queer stories that we’re getting in the last few years!! Agree it’s nice to have some fresh storytelling
I'd seen this preview earlier and it looks like an amazing movie, sad but great.... Now if you are in need of cheesy gay Christmas rom-com, may I suggest the movie Single All the Way? Great cast, classic Xmas rom-com tropes and a very cute gay couple (Michael Urie and Philemon Chambers). It has become one of my staple Xmas movies these past couple of years. I would love for you guys to review it ;-)
I h ent even heard of this Mo ie before you dropped this video. Now I can’t wait to watch it, the trailer looks astounding! Thanks for providing a lovely voice for queer media 💜
Hi Guys Would love for you two to review the followingL Saltburn Interview with the Vampire (Season 2) Trailer + bonus scene released as well. Love Victor Many thanx xoxo
Always enjoy you guys and interactions with interjections of humour. It's always interesting to hear of movies and upcoming content. It would be interesting to see your reaction (generational) to some past historical commentary of societal views which often gets overlooked. Movies like Priest, 1994 Starring Linus Roache and Robert Carlisle. perhaps even the Montague trials "A very British Sex Scandal!" (2007 BBC). Patners 1982. or for a little humour "9 Dead Gay Guys".
All this just around the time that Billy Porter gets a divorce in real life… And a nice age gap relationship, given that Porter is ten years older than Evans.
Straight people aren't all ok with marriage yk x) it's just a family party in facts. An expensive one 😂 Personnally, I don't want to show the love I share with my bf to all my family. But a lot of people like it. So I think everyone should have the choice to do it or not. After all, it's the celebration of love ^^ (And obviously, it's advantageous in terms of money, at least in my country it is)
We are so excited for this new film! Are you? X
I’m excited to see the movie. Sounds like it’s going to be emotional. The dreamer in me (probably not realistic) hopes that they’ll reconcile.
Have you ever seen, Patrik, Age 1.5?
The solution of this movie is very simple: Luke Evans needs to be in drag and get a job as a housekeeper.
Ahh classic Mrs doubtfire technique haha

My first thought
Luke Evans and Billy Porter in Queer Drama? Say no more. I’m convinced.
Yass! So are we ❤

This looks absolutely heartbreaking 😭 but such important representation! Can't wait to see it

A story about mature gays and the rest of the cast is not too shabby..Andrew Rannells, Phylicia Rashad, Kate burton and Isaac Powell 👍
The actor who plays Billy Porter’s mom was brilliant haha

I have been living under a rock! I thought Mr. Porter was a model, not an actor! LOL!
Stock up on the tissues boyz. I mean that in the cleanest, most emotional way possible.
Yes, lots of tissues will be needed!

You know they're British because they didn't react to Phylicia Rashad.
Looove the dooooooog!
I will ask a question: does marriage is a model of life we have to necessarly to take as the model to follow from straight people?
Who knows maybe this movie will answer this...
