The Mitla has been around for EIGHTY SIX years!!! Glen Bell had a burger place across the street from the Mitla. He saw how many tacos they sold and asked for the recipe. He took that info and started Taco Bell in L.A. and and employee of his took his knowledge and started Del Taco. But it all started with the Mitla. And I've lived my 63 years 1/2 a mile from the Mitla Cafe😋
Loved it, looks like a lot of fun.
Y'all ate 10 tacos in one day? Wow, fun to watch this. We love tacos so we are bound to check these out. Fun to see you all.
We were so full at the end of the day. We had to pace ourselves 😂
Thank you! This was fun! I been inspired!
We are so glad you enjoyed the tour!
As someone who lives in the Inland Empire 😂 I’ve never eaten at more than half these spots. Thanks for the recommendations 🎉
I live super close to all these spots lol, 😂
They were all really good! Let us know if you try any.
There’s a place called Chucks tacos in upland, they bought the hard shell and enchilada recipe from an old Ontario restaurant called Los Monitos. Should do another one
We will definitely do a part 2 because we love tacos!
This was a fun take on a taco tour! My family is for sure gonna check out your 9’s and 10’s!
U guys gotta try Tacos La central is a must👌
Yes! That place blows all of these out of the water.
Next choice would be Rosa Maria’s.
Thanks for the suggestions! Looks like we will have to do a part 2. 😊
@@SiegeAM they focus more on home, not necessarily street tacos. I think that’s why I love them so much, I can get street tacos anywhere but there’s something special about RM
La Central in Colton, I agree the best 👌
Janette is awesome 😊
Please try Tipsy tacos!! 🌮
We will definitely have to do a part 2 🎉
King Taco is always a good spot.
We may have gone back to King Taco a couple more times since filming this.
nice ! Taco Bell was born in the IE along with Del Taco
Lot of good food history around here. 😊
Taqueria is pronounced = (Thah- Keh- Ria) not taqueria (taka-ria)🤣, but kudos on the perfect pronunciation of "Huicho's Tacos" (I would have thought Huicho's would be harder to pronounce). Anyways, thanks for sharing your 2024 🌮Ten Taco Tour!🌮 Excellent video and it had my mouth watering, specially when I saw those grilled jalapenos. 😋My favorite four tacos are Lengua, Trompa ( not trompo A.K.A. al pastor), Cabeza, & Buche
Thanks, I took French, not Spanish in high school, so it’s a little hard for me, but I do love tacos. 😂 Glad you enjoyed the video!
Try comming west of the I-10 next time... There's alot more to the IE than SB county. Interesting survey just the same. Bob Bell got the idea of hard shell tacos from Nitlas when was running a BBQ place accross the street. They showed him how they were made and he invented the form used tocook several at once.
Thanks for watching! Looks like we will have to do another tour! Any must do recommendations?
@@myvacationpants2053 I have two places in Lake elsinore, Emillios on Lakeshore and Micho Tacos on Main St. Emillios has great shreadded beed tacos and Mita has a amazing Birria taco combo that is best when paired with a michalada.. Also you may want to try Tio's Tacos in downtown Riverside. They specialize in seafood and excenlent food as well as a amazing assemblaze art display. They are on Mission Inn Blvd. just past Market.
Love me some Huicho's ❤ . In my mind they are still a new place, but then i checked my Yelp review, and it's from 12yrs ago 😮
It’s so good! Can’t believe it took us this long to try it out.
You guys missed Taco's La central!!!!! How dare you!
We promise will go there in part 2! 😂
Taco Tia was created by taco bell, not del taco
Yes, the history is very complicated. Del Taco was actually started by an employee of the Taco Tia/Taco Bell guy.
oh my god! Surprise you guys didn’t try the #2 ranked spot in the us for tacos by yelp which is Birrieria little tijuana in riverside! That’s on my booked marked. Honorable mentions are steamed tacos by titos la especial in santa ana, shrimp tacos dorados from mariscos jaliscos in pomona or the la truck, and los cholos in orange county! All their meat is premium and cooked over mesquite.
Yum, thanks for all the suggestions. We will have to do a part 2 sometime in the future!
Wish you would show you all eating instead of just rating👎
Going to the most overrated spots 😂
What are your suggestions for underrated spots?
Maybe you should start your own channel and visit the "underrated" spots?
