We've tried once or twice to film more of that, but neither of us (particularly Soope) really likes filming in TLD. The second episode, to my memory, had more troubleshooting than actual playing recorded. Also, improvised commentary is extremely difficult for me - I do it for the Imola segments in both this and the previous video, but it would not end well with a two or three hour recording session for TLD.
@@noname2242 i understand, at least, you tried to do more of that series, but it's the developers problem to fix those bugs and make the game playable for people
@@sorinule To be fair, it's a tiny dev team - I personally would still prefer if they focused on multiplayer until it worked smoothly, but that might not be possible for them.
You can make older generic cars, but can you make a modern run-of-the mill small chevu hatch back with next to nothing sporty and an engine the looks and sounds like a luxury lawnmower engine?
I didn't cover it in the video because I'm not smart enough to explain it well; but it's a surprisingly (and deceptively) easy thing to do, if a little time-consuming. If you want to learn how, here's fillman's video that I used to learn how to do it: ua-cam.com/video/5ghlTKfgnTU/v-deo.html
The interior camera is a simple fixture in Automation. I don't remember if I show it in this video, but I do in my last one: ua-cam.com/video/_PoCf1RASiU/v-deo.html The steering wheel is harder, requiring some work in Blender and the .jbeam code in Beam, but Fillman has a good tutorial on it here: ua-cam.com/video/5ghlTKfgnTU/v-deo.html
"I asked soope for his advice, and then proceeded to follow none of it, so he very quickly gave up"
Yes, shhh.
This channel is amazing.
i want the long drive series with soope again, ik its very buggy but i really enjoyed watching those two episodes.

Algorithm might've just blessed you
true
It was like this for the last video too! I, for one, am liking this newest whim of the algorithm.
I wonder, how did you get the wheel to behave normally

what did you have to do to make the steering wheel work and interior camera work?
