Sunnie, you're badass girl! I caught that Jennie Jones show and being a Gen Xer myself I thought 'HUH These girls on here would be about my age..I wonder what ever happened to them and where they are now?' I'm glad I put two and two together and realized 'OH SH*T! The person who posted this was ON THE SHOW!' I'm glad the 'makeover' they gave you didn't change your style. Keep doing you and being the badass you are! Much love!

I'm here after seeing you on the Jenny Jones show (just cause I was scrolling and getting a bit lost in that pesky Internet) and I've got to say I'm so glad you kept your awesome style. That was a really crazy, barbaric audience. Good for you for sticking to your guns

hell if nothing else that jenny episode is a prime demo of the positive side to her anger and talking issues she mentioned. she had a whole studio audience against her as a teenager and burned them down in an instant. i remember being a spooky kid in the 90's and watching that rerun like my dad watched a boxing match. she and cher were my heroes.

I'm proud of you for making this video. You did great with creating your list. You focused very well and your talking was normal. There was no rambling and you weren't all over the place with your hyperactivity disorder. I loved how you could think of a positive to every flaw you see about yourself. It takes a lot of willpower to get yourself together to focus on making a list like that, especially since it has to do with yourself with your medical conditions and the way you see yourself. I saw in the first Jenny Jones episode, in the comments section, that your Dad passed away. That makes me sad and I don't know if it was during your teenage years or from old age. He came across as a very friendly, down to earth guy. He didn't seem like he would mind the way you dressed and I was glad to have read it was a facade to get a free trip to Chicago. He certainly didn't make himself look conservative and you were so blessed to have such a caring Father who could be so relatable when it comes to being yourself, being unique. I hope you were able to get that video from your friend as another memory to add to your cherished memories of your Dad. Big hugs to you. I briefly listened to one of your covers and you have a lovely voice. I hope you are still out there in the world, singing your heart out.

Here are some of my questions:
2 lessons you learned, growing up?
    How tall are you?
    When is your birthday?
Have you struggled with anxiety issues?
    Favorite musical artists?
    Favorite memory?
I just think you are a beautiful person, n i love watching videos like this because i love your perspective and i feel like you are pretty real. I wish i had a friend like you, when i saw you in the jones show i really fell in love. I kinda have a huge temper too, but you would never know. So i wish i had a friend like you to kinda stick with me growing up. Ummm anyway.

Jasper Boris a friend who lives on the other side of the country has the actual copy. He was on the second episode as well. I am waiting on him to get it to me. He has a full life and family so I'm trying to be patient! 😬 As soon as I get it I will upload it here first!

My first UA-cam comment ever. And I thought I would share it with you. I struggle with pretty much the same types of things. I like to use these thoughts to help me.
-Thoughts become things, choose good ones. Sounds so simple but it's true. Lol
    - When I think I'm talking to much I ask myself. Is it important, does it need to be said right now, is it kind or helpful. If it so game on.
-Any problem I have with my outwardly appearances isn't important to me anymore. It just isn't. It's the shell we live in. I have a full head of dreads and people don't get it.
    - Smile at strangers, say hello first. Set the tone of who you are and what you represent.
Bla bla bla, you're a beautiful person.

I just watched the whole video of that awful 90's show and I wanted to say that I loved seeing young girls with amazing styles and great personalities. It reminded me of the way people and my parents used to judge the person I was by the clothes that I wore and how everything that I had to go through because of that made me feel. I was wondering how they (and you) are now, so I ended up listening to some of your songs and watching this video. They're awesome and you are too, hope you have a great day :)

As I've grown older, I seem to become more intolerant to foods. I can't eat meat either. I always feel so awful when people say they should have done this or that to accommodate you, or when my grandpa wants to get me food to keep at his house for when I visit. I always tell him not to worry about it.

Thank You SO much! When I originally posted this, I had full intent to make more if viewers responded to it well. I honestly didn't think anyone would even bother with watching it, let alone the feedback that i have received. I am actually quite shocked at so many comments that have touched my heart so deeply. So, Yes... I would love to do more, but now I am thinking what would the topic of the next one be. Do YOU have any suggestions, particular questions or requests? I would love to know if you do!
      Anyhow,
Thanks for taking the time to comment and sharing your time with me here on my channel! Please, If you enjoy music, explore my channel a bit. There is quite the variety of styles and genres that i play, including a punk band that I sing for called My Modern Valentine. Great video! I feel like I definitely need to start looking at myself differently or rather stop looking at myself in a negative way and putting myself down constantly. I feel like I do have good qualities and I am a good person even though some days it's hard to see that in myself. I struggle a lot with anxiety and low mood/depression at times. It's like a flip of a switch, I can be super happy then one little thing can happen and it sends me down. I am getting a bit better with that. Just some days are harder than others. Probably doesn't help I have a few health problems and one causes me a lot of pain daily.
But yeah thank you for the great video! I may have to make some lists like that to get better perspective on myself. I just found your channel randomly too! Definitely subscribed!

CharlotteElizabeth1188 thank you for sharing and believe it or not, I can relate to the pain... it can affect everything. I have rheumatoid arthritis as well as Ehler's-Danlos Syndrome. It can impede on "normal" activities at times but I try to take advantage when it's not as bad! Chin up and make that list! Make as many lists that you need to, just to remind yourself that you ARE amazing!
      All my love,
      Sunnie Daze Coleman

    • @MissRavenPaw
      @MissRavenPaw 7 років тому

Yeah it definitely can and I agree I definitely do my best to take advantage of the good days. I have a condition called Neurofibromatosis Type 1 which also gave me Scoliosis (which is what causes the pain and doctors don't see it as "bad enough" to operate on even though it stops me from being able to work and effects me like it does. But in their eyes they said they could potentially make it worse and not fix it so I suppose in one sense its a positive they won't operate.) and then I have a few other health problems too on top of that. Feels like sometimes I am collecting them lol.
Thank you that is really sweet of you! :) I definitely will make the lists!
You are a very kind hearted and amazing person!

To be honest, a person like you that is hyperactive and talkative, is the perfect companion for a introvert person! Like, I am so introverted and I struggle to get up sometimes, a person like you is somewhat what I need in my life. So don’t ever think it’s a Bad thing! It’s more helpful than you think!
And I also watched the video withe makeover on Jenny Jones.
I loved your personality then and now! Keep all the good work up!
I also wanted to ask if you and Cherylyne (I don’t know if it’s written correctly) have kept in touch? I try to find her on social media.
    Anyways, have a wonderful day!
    Hugs and kisses,
    Jane

You "should" weigh about 100 at 5' and add 5 pounds per inch. The average weight for 5'7" is 135 pounds. I'm 5'9" and weigh maybe 120 pounds, so don't feel bad. I have a slight bone structure so it doesn't look that bad. I'm confident you look just fine the way you are.

I don't know if you still suffer from acne, but you can ask your doctor about Aldactone which is generic for spironolactone. I take a super low dose and it helps very much, and makes me feel better about myself. Mechanism of action is it blocks one of the testosterone pathways in charge of producing excess oil on the skin!

I think that if you were to borrow a better camera from someone or buy one eventually you could be sooo successful as a singer/songwriter youtuber that also vlogs sometimes:) I would really love getting advice and general opinions from someone that has something to share and something to teach instead of all the pretty unexperienced youtubers out there (life-wise I mean). Plus your songwriting and singing are very very engaging.

Mariya Mladenova Thank You! I actually have multiple cameras and access to even better ones... I tend to get distracted easily. So, I shall try and take your advice and dilly around with them and see if I can't find one that's easier than the rest. I actually have a home recording studio. :) When I first started making these videos, it was to challenge myself. I believe in passion over perfection and I found that I was focusing too much on perfection... so, I write, record and upload in under two hours. It's for me to triumph over the hesitations that it is not perfect! In this whole process I was also hoping that it might inspire others to not worry so much about doing everything perfect, but with true passion!
      Much love!

Mariya Mladenova no no no, don't take it that way! 🙃 everything in life should evolve organically. This is a belief of mine. Since starting this channel it has grown to be a lot more than I had ever imagined. So, that is pretty cool in itself! Slowly but surely I'm trying to focus on ways to improve what I share with you guys and gals! I could always use a better quality filming setup and have it ready to go and still write, record and upload within an hour or so. Trust me, your advice is appreciated and even factored in! ❤️
