They are sooo shy and obviously super uncomfortable after the makeovers and the 'trendy' clothing is hideous! I grew up as a goth in the 90's and so glad i did!

There were so many of these "help my kid is a punk / goth!" Talk shows on arounf the time i was 10 to 12 uears old and i used to gobble them up because i loved the alternative looks and wanted to be like them! Also, the guest Sunny looks oddly like sally jesse raphael in her "before" pic and her "punk" style had to inspire how the main character in "ghost world" was drawn.

Ah yes, let's criticize teenagers for being teenagers. Notice how all of these kids are girls? Girls are the more unconfident sex due to girls bullying each-other. Society should be ashamed of themselves, honestly. If a person has alternative style, they're a "freak" and possibly get death threats. Society also says to "be yourself", but you can't be yourself because everyone's as basic as white bread.
