Hi! I’m catholic and have been a godmother a few times. Technically, you can’t be a “godmother” in the Catholic Church if you aren’t catholic. For a quinceñera, the godmother for the church is the “main” godmother for the event. So it is required to be catholic, be baptized, first communion & confirmed. There’s soooo many other things in a quinceñera that you can be a “godmother” for without having to be catholic. You can do the crown, necklace, ring, bracelet, etc. there’s a lot! So you can still be your niece’s godmother for something else other than the church 🤗
That’s what I was thinking, because to chose your godmothers for your quince its because majority of the time they have an important role in your life and you know them well. If I knew that one of my tias wasn’t really religious then I wouldn’t ask her to be my godmother for the church. Like you said there are so many other options to be a godmother that don’t require like a religious requirement. So I just think the quinceañera and her family should’ve thought a little bit more before asking her Tia to be a madrina for the church and as well not be so disappointed in her Tia saying no. Like it sucks but I think they have to be a bit more understanding and maybe offer another madrina option.

Fo my Bach trip- a friend got covid the day before and couldn’t come. She didn’t ask for her money back. She knew that was too last minute and would never ask other people to cover her expenses for a missed trip. We obviously gave her back the money for her activity reservations but the Airbnb no.
The godparent thing if they're not together my parents always told me that if anything were to happen to them I would go with my godmother and not my godfather mainly because she is a woman and so am I. So it would just be easier that way in the long run? If that makes any sense

Same with your 'local weirdo' that would call in for whatever silly thing...usually just a local comedian doing a bit character. That's where Larry the Cable guy got his start!

Erin is kind of annoying in episodes like this because she speaks like she’s trying to change the others opinions instead of just having differing opinions and Mike and Carly want to avoid the awkward social confrontation so they just back track on their stance and agree with Erin … she never accepts this type of criticism but I think it would be helpful for her to acknowledge how she comes across.
