I agree with Jase…..be careful when you start going down rabbit holes….most controversial issues start here…..God tells us in His Word what He wants us to know therefore He alone will reveal Himself to us in other ways and things in His time, not my time!

I love how everyone gives Zack a hard time about using big words, but I hear Al, dropping big words all the time, and he never gets razzed about it. He finished up the podcast with “scintillating” lol. This plays in well with him getting everyone worked up and then sitting back to enjoy the show lol.

I believe the reason the Bible is laid out the way it is is in order for us to have to focus on it constantly so that we don’t stray to other distractions.

As always Phil hits it right on the head when he says. That's as deep as you need to go. The Bible tells us that.
We need no man to teach us. But the spirit bill was basically saying. I don't need to read a bunch of Commentary on it. I take what the word of God says and anything that.

The spirit will guide us in truth of course but God had appointed teachers ; we need help
I believe so much in the Bible is vague because it simply is not crucial to our salvation. I think I agree with Phil, it’s simply Jesus died on the Cross for our salvation and is our way to heaven. Any argument over most in the Bible is just to make one feel superior to others or at least to boost one’s own selfish praise.
God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
The first man born of a virgin’s womb ( to proceed out of the birth canal, called the matrix), is mine, saith the Father.
God the Son became flesh = Jesus became 100% man.
My dad and his dad, a father and son would have a good conversation and i was just a child in good spirits, happy to be around the father and son. That is how I contemplate the Holy Trinity 🙏
You cannot witness for yourself, and if I witness for me, my Father also witness for me, because I am in the Father and we are one. The Father is in me as I am in my Father. Just as Jesus, is in us, and we are in Jesus. Also, the baptism of Jesus who lifted up Jesus. Did Jesus do it by himself or did the Father do it through the Holy Ghost?

I need to hear Jase explain things for me. Phil does not beat around the bush like Zack....when Zack "explains" things I get lost.......too many five dollar words. Al is my favorite preacher....he gets it!

I’m glad y’all had this conversation. I didn’t like Larry’s statement in the overtime saying he doesn’t want any knowledge. It’s heart, soul, MIND and strength. If we leave knowledge out, we leave a lot of love on the table.
Lucifer in heaven, and he fell and became Satan. Satan was found going to and throw from the Earth. And then there was no more room in for Satan, in heaven, and I saw Satan fall like lightning. If Satan was in the garden of Eden, and he used to be archangel, then time passed. So how did genesis 1:2 get in the universe before day, one of creation. Alpha and Omega, the beginning of the salvation, the alpha and Omega timeline for salvation . The Word. The scripture that was for the soul person because of saving soles.
I don't like arguing about things not explicitly in the bible and has nothing to do with salvation.
The trinity has everything to do with salvation .

God is omnipresent. He is in the past, the now and future all at once. He is I am. The God that was, the God that is and the God that is to come. When we reason and live out of our carnal nature we limit ourselves to reasoning through sight, smell, taste, hear and touch. We are subject to linear time. Linear time begins at birth and ends when we perish. As newly created spiritual beings, we who believe are no longer governed by linear time or our physical limitations of our carnal nature but now we have access to the spiritual realm by grace through faith in Christ.
Revelation 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Jesus said if I do not leave and go to my Fathers house, I could not leave the comforter/Holy Ghost but if I do, you will do better things than me. so how could we do better things than the Father if Jesus was the Father?
That verse follows Jesus teaching His disciple to spread the gospel.
They can do more because they are here.
Jesus speaks to the Father because the Father; Son and Spirit are one God in three distinct persons.

Well Jase, its good that you don’t have to be sophisticated, which you said you didn't think you were, to be wise in the things of God, because that is something that you definitely are.
Philippines 2:5-11 (NLT) This passage is referred to as the Kenosis passage. Christ emptied His will to become completely receptive to the Father's will.
That verse teaches God became something He never was ( human) without giving up who He always was ( God)
He added a human nature still fully holding to the divine nature. The two nature remain intact;
Fully God; Fully man
All right brother Zack I hear you say about the three persons of the so-called trinity. I've done a deep study on some of this and I'm sure not all inclusive and exhaustive rather but I have red how that terminology of the plural persons at least in the King James version Bible does not exist. So that resounds that makes sense because God is one. So my assertion is there are not three persons there is one person Christ Jesus there is one godhead not a trinity although I understand the sentiment of that term. And I've heard a lot of speculation that it's so mysterious and stuff and I understand that sentiment as well. But in my research I've heard the concept that I'll share and it's exceedingly simple and I believe it nails the godhead in his essence and who God is all three parts of that one god. Are you ready?
Okay we are made in God's image. And likeness. And one facet of the human person is we have a body of soul and a spirit. So with that understanding that we have those three parts but we are one we don't refer to our soul and our spirit as another person or as some kind of different entity but it is combined with who we are.
So get ready. God the father is the soul the holy spirit is the spirit and King Jesus is the body. Three in one. We are in his image. We have what he has. And that is a body of soul and the spirit. That is how Jesus can be talking to the father he's talking to his soul. What do you mean kevin?
I used to play tennis in high school and sometimes you're talking to yourself come on Kevin you got to move your feet come on Kevin turn your shoulders. It's a different way of communicating to yourself. Could that be kind of in the same vein of when Jesus is speaking to the father? Because giving this line of thinking that I'm describing where my contention is there's no plurality of persons there's one person but there are three parts. Do you see what I'm saying?
Very very simple. And if that is true that is beautiful and that resounds and that makes sense and it is exciting! And therefore King Jesus before taking on flesh he is God and always was and his soul was sitting there on the throne in heaven while his body was in Jerusalem doing his thing. And that Holy Spirit was in him animating him. But Kevin at Holy Spirit came down at baptism right?
yes it did but perhaps that was more for the people to see them for a fact that that's when Jesus received the Holy spirit. The three are one so I don't believe he received it at that time the holy spirit is god! And of course so is Jesus and so is the father. So perhaps that was more for the people to see that feeling and to what extent that's probably deeper than I'll share at this point but consider it.

Wait and then you said Genesis one let us make them in our image. I hear what you're saying brother but as I studied that as well and I think it's Psalm 82 I read a book called The Divine council that blew my mind I just finished it two weeks ago where there was the council of God his sons the sons of God the Angels the nonfallen ones of course. So he was saying let let us make them an hour image perhaps suggesting that he was speaking to the council and that plural language was talking about yes that father son spirit that one God with those three parts that would be the let us but in terms of the in our image meaning of God's image and the sons of God because remember we're so similar to Angels right? A little lower than angels? And we've entertained angels unaware? And they always present and look like men scripture tells us? So you know how it is you could be blessed and it's like man that was a spirit-filled believer or that was an angel who blessed me. Just wanted them share that nuanced caveat in terms of that hour image language of Genesis and the Lord and the council of his angels speaking like that. Anyways fascinating stuff I'm going to keep listening

My take on Jesus emptying himself is that he gave up the honor entitled to his royalty.
We have an example of this today in Prince Harry. He has lost something he THOUGHT was confining him. But it provided for him. He left that behind. Jesus knew what he was sacrificing, but he did it for his people.

I broke this down so people may understand that Jesus through his Father, recreated (Genesis 1:2 was before the recreation story. (Job 38:30 & Genesis 1:2) Earth for our salvation (after falling with Satan aka Lucifer). I challenge you to do the same for yourself.
