Terrific job once again! You should start a citizen of the month award and give yourselves the first one and for every month you have been doing these! Thanks for another great video! Stay safe and stay healthy!
Massive reclamation in Detroit is necessary but @Detroit Drain Gang has shown us so many cherry homes. There is an opportunity to redesign Detroit to accommodate pederestiions and bikes. Local commerce and parks. Turn the vacant landscape into an opportunity.
Great job and good video. Like the two angles from the two cameras. Still like the idea of getting the gutters and sidewalks cleared with a shovel. Can you work with someone similar to Al Bladez who lives nearer Detroit?
where does all that oil and other distillates come from....possible all the abandoned wrecks on all of the detroit streets...where the heck is the administration and public works.......bankrupt, financially and responsibly, good on you for your effort
Looks like you should elect yourself to be mayor because it doesn't appear that the one in office is doing anything. I bet their neighborhood doesn't look like this.
I've always wondered watching your video's why you use a potato rake. A regular garden rake, or even a leaf rake is so much easier to use on street drains.
Wow... 11,370 views and only 693 likes ??? whats up with that one... This young dude is doing a great service for his community..!!!! Awesome job... keep it up.. My hats off to you.. !!!
Don’t these residents have enough pride to clean out their own drains? They wait for you to come along? Thank you for your service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Piece of advice...too much back and forth between the 2 drains. Just get a nice whirlpool going, and then stand back and just watch it work naturally. All the back and forth ruins the point of vids like these.
Try the small yard rake with the thin tines! It will pull more out and push the debris down the grates. It will tear the debris up better and easier with one hand. The potato rake tends to get stuck on crap all the time. Unless you have ice then the potato rake will be needed
Why aren't the houses in danger of collapsing demolished by the city? Why aren't the broken cars removed? I don't even want to talk about the garbage. So much oil runs into the sewers. But they serve the community well by removing the floods. Thanks for that!
Wow, open 2 drains on opposite sides of the street with just a few swipes of the fork on the first side. Magic! or an underlying system that just needs a jump start!
Its a shame that know one can organise a volunteer group of retired builders and landscapers together to start to regenerate some of these areas back to an acceptable standard for residential living. Open up green spaces like parks and play areas for families to spend time in. Its pretty obvious who ever runs Detroit doesnt take these areas of the city into consideration. Its so sad to see this, i know what its like because Detroit is basicly a reflection of my home city. Its an old industrial city thats been left to rot over the decades because people just wont spend time or money to redevelop them :(

Thank you so much for this. My great aunt still lives in the city and this gives my heart happiness that you all are doing this.

You should get a wider rake like the kind Post 10 used
Yes! That way you can scoop. Hard to pick things up with a pitchfork. But I love the videos. Keep up gods work.
Mmmmmm Bubbly bubbly - Fantastic work 5⭐
It's so sad. I think my grandparents old home is gone and where my dad and his 2 brothers were raised.. :(

Doing great work for your community. Thanks for the entertainment.
It’s a shame what happened to that city!
it looks like the aftermath of a war....
It used to look worse
I was thinking the same. I wouldn’t be anywhere near there
Have you thought about getting rid of the pitch fork and going to a simple rake instead? It will be sooo much easier to clean up debris!
Sad that all those lots are empty, but at the end of the video it's better than the destroyed homes that are seen.
Great too see you again.🙄👍
Another great job well done 👍. We should start celebrating together.
Great job! Two thumbs up👍👍
Tripod for camera? Would be easier. Thank you for your great community work! You're awesome.
Nice job! 🙂👍🇺🇸
Excellent work my friend, doing your bit for the neighbourhood. A real shame to see it so ran down......
I grew up in Warren, MI at 13 Mile and Schoenherr and it's so sad to see these old neighborhoods going to the way side! :((((((
How long have you had the potato rake ?? ....that's a great too for those drain grates !!!
You've got to have more than 6,880 subscribers!
It is sad. But you are doing a good job 👏.
Just imagine if you weren’t holding that camera! 😊 👏🏻
Good lad.
Why don't people use bins over there!!!!
Fantastic job! Well done DDG!
Poor Pupper!

Sad how those area’s look. Very post-apocalyptic…
😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Gtblessgo!
Wouldn't a garden rake work better
If you ever wonder what we viewers like to see, I really like the shot at 5:35. Not a fan of close ups.
Looks like you should elect yourself to be mayor because it doesn't appear that the one in office is doing anything. I bet their neighborhood doesn't look like this.
Throw that worthless useless piece of rake away. you get a better result if you do like post 10 and just move your feet back-and-forth over the drain
You did a great job, why tho couldn't someone take a black bag and go on a rubbish pick up???? It'll make it look much nicer
This guy is true Detroit personality. Gritty with goodwill in his blood. Love from GR
Great job my friend. You like the new rake? Seems to be working like a champ.
Sad to see a once thriving neighborhood in the shape it is in.
👏👏👏 great job guys yet again. Love post 10s stuff but am getting bored with all the culverts he’s done recently. Love the street drains here. 👍

Need bigger drain holes rather than the small ones
Excellent job. 🙄❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️
Do what you can with what you've got, right where you're at! Great job!!!
Primo swirls
Good job. Please keep fighting!!
🇳🇱👍👍👍👍👍🍀

Please get your self some rubber gloves
i did. thanks to all you guys watching. ive gotten some new tools and stuff for the channel
I'm watching from the uk. Do you not have street cleaners /litter pickers in the states ?
Sometimes in my area they only come around once a year!
Great job! I agree that it’s a shame the houses have all gone or fallen into disrepair

Let it eat:)

The satisfaction you get when hearing that drain burping 😄
The mighty car industry fell and took the city with it.
Great work guys
thank u
Please.. Use a camera stand! That looks way professionell.
