I saw a report on this a few days ago. From the Russian border to the front-line is 90 miles, so to keep the soldiers in equipment and food, you have to factor in a certain number of 180-mile round trips. The Russians didn't bring enough trucks to do the required number of trips. . .
Putin's generals didn't want this war. It's evidenced by how poorly the Russians are doing. Instead of backing down, Putin fires the generals. Now he's become bunker boy over a puny 1 million dollar bounty on his head.
That is the point. This showcases exactly how pathetic Russian supply lines are. There is about 1000 miles from one end of Ukraine to the other and Russia's supply lines failed just 90 miles in.
@@mtaylor7307 I mean they couldn't even even bring the proper equipment for an invasion if they don't know what's coming. Every field commander or officer must be extremely pissed right now. Generals also don't want their people to die, especially not in such a pointless way
Up to quite high levels they were told they were doing exercises, not invading anywhere. It is likely that various people looked at quantities of fuel and food allocated, thought it was too much for exercises and sold some. There is also physical evidence that trucks were being driven regularly which they need (again probably so fuel allocated could be sold off) this is causing tires to fail. Also, the winter has been mild so instead of going across frozen ground they have roads or mud, tanks are getting stuck in the mud it is that bad. Ukrainians have been attacking the supply lines and where vehicles have been abandoned due to lack of fuel or breakdown every farmer with a tractor is towing them off and handing them to the army. There have also been a lot of desertions as Russians do not want to fight Ukrainians.

Having watched steve1989's channel and mre reviews I can say with confidence the Russian soldiers have nothing that can pass for food
It was only supposed to be a two week vacation cake walk and now they are stuck at the airport so to speak......
