2:18 you dont have to do this becuse windows already set the max core count. but if you changed your cpu to a better cpu that has more cores and didnt reinstall windows you have to do this
Remember guys that if you are just following the tutorial blindly without realizing what you are adjusting or altering, you could end up messing up your PC so just work out what each setting does first before you change it
accurate. some these instructions are horrible. this persons pci ports have yellow check marks in device manager. seeing that alone, tells you not to follow this persons recommendations.
another thing to check if you have an aftermarket power cord eventually they wear out quicker than the standard brand made by computer manufacturer. I had a Dell laptop and tech support kept telling me i needed a new computer. i saw on another youtube video about the fact to make sure i had the manufacturers power cord and that may have been the problem and everything worked fine after i purchased a Dell laptop powercord that was compatible with my computer.
The allow windows to turn device off setting in device manager is the only one worth turning off. For example in network adapter it can prevent ur internet randomly cutting out. Same with other devices such as bluetooth controllers, keyboards etc. These are not tied to performance though, its nice he included them but they aren't needed for more fps XD. But I would not disable anything he recommends in device manager. Just because windows does not need them, does not mean they are not needed by your pc. The other stuff he says though like turning off notifications, disabling most privacy options, using windows game mode (which is vastly improved in windows 11 btw) are all good tips. Also making your own power plan can will help with performance. But this isn't gonna be like night\day difference, at best you may gain like +10 fps possibly even less depends on your system@@Evercreeper
@@Evercreeper No its not. A load of bull is any person who is not checking what a thing does and turns it off. I turned off core isolation after checking what it does more widely and I'm pretty sure its literally free FPS in my case, but for people that want that extra security, not so much.
thanks alot! This video helped me to boost my laptops performance! You probably have 6 cores/ 12 threads. you should never turn of your cores. Some programs/games use all of them, you are actually slowing down your computer

Why is recommended to turn off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in USB from device manager? I fell a bit worse when i uncheck this settings in device manager....
All power saving features try to lower performance, this is more apparent for laptops, if you want performance, anything related to power saving must be of.

Like my RekOS? Yes, you can but they are not for everyone due the extreme stripping of components. Plus many people would rather avoid the chance of some random dude's keylogger filled iso.
I did a complete video on dual boot, plus theres a lot of trusted ISOs like ggOS too as well as my own since a lot of people have used it. However, you are never guaranteed to have any updates in regards to a new game that might be released or a component that's required. Dual boot is the best option of course, but many people tend to only use a single boot. Hence they need a bit of proper performance boost.,
You are wrong about System Config, You doesn't need to select your processor cores to it's full state numbers because windows 10 already uses all of your cores There is no need for enabling that
i love when these youtubers show their true lack of knowledge, by telling you to do all of these things that either do nothing at all, or do the opposite of what they're suggesting. like changing the number of processors in advanced boot options. classic. also the restore point should have been the very first thing suggested. amateur.

Actually it shouldn't make too much of a difference but it helps the device's latency a bit. Especially when it wakes from idle.
