Great video!! I have the MAC 9 and can tell you changing out the recoil spring to 12# hammer "main" spring to 17# and a reduced magazine release spring, polishing the disconnector ramp, grip tape on the front and rear of the grip makes a HUGE difference. Add a trigger weight adjustment to your preference and you would be hard pressed to find a better option in this price point. Around $60 in springs and a little time is all it needs.
I run Atlas Artemis & Titan for competition and in interested in a Mac9. I’d do everything you just said but likely a 10lb spring. 17lb Mainspring is a must, 19 at worst. I’d likely do EGW internals as well.
I used to own two staccato p's....i recently picked up the mac 9 ds & damn. I am impressed. Absolutely love & dare i say...shoots like a staccato. I see no need to ever purchase another staccato p since i got the mac 9....

I bought a 4.25 prodogy this spring. Did not shoot it until I worked the slide 500 times. Cleaned lots of seracoat out. I then did a parts upgrade. Altlas perfect match ignition system. Atlas full length tooless guiderod. Atlas extended shielded thumb safeties. Atlas trigger. Egw mag well. I have been shooting 1911s for over 30 years. This gun is shocking! I cannot believe how it operates. Absolutely no failures and super accurate. I am into the gun for $2,100.00. Did the work myself so saved on gunsmith. I am certainly no expert but I can say if you want a mean gun at around 2gs get a prodogy and do the upgrades.
Great video man! I’m a prodigy 4.25 owner. I love it. I have EGW internals, tooless guide rod and red dirt trigger. Over 2000 rounds….I’m beyond happy with mine and never had a malfunction. Thinking about porting next.
I love mines too and I have about all the same things except I went with the Atlas trigger on mines. I’m in the works currently to port mines. I would love to add that comp that DSC gun works makes for my 5in but it’s still out of stock. That thing looks sick and makes it look like a Staccato XC
Own the 4.25 too! I've only resprung mine, lightly polished some internals, and lubed it. It's liked anything except these 115gr hollow points that my glock fed even worse. It's a great pistol!
@@jairustheadventurer3935 Skies the limit with that firearm for sure. I own the 5in as well and I am constantly trying to figure out which direction I want to go with both. I have chosen to port the 4.25.
Thank you I appreciate it. I know there are a lot of people who are thinking of getting into the platform but can’t really afford it. So seeing how I was fortunate enough to own a few of the entry level offerings I felt it was only right to let others know that there are some great affordable options out there for those who want to try it out but may not have 2k and up to spend on a 2011
I appreciate my brother I’ve been a fan of your videos and collection for a while now. You truly have the 2011 game on lock right now. You and Team Blacksmith have the collections I only inspire to have. One day and lord willing I’ll get there. 🫡
I have the Apollo 11 and got almost 2,500 rds on it. Put Dawson precision tool-less guide rod with 9lb wolf recoil spring ,Dawson mag well and just put Atlas flat x line trigger in it. It has run flawless for me!
Dope setup, I have a tool-less guide rod, ports, Dawson magwell, and an Atlas flat face as well. Been exploring other spring options to fine tune mines better
Hey glad I found your channel, I have three to four guns here I don't have the prodigy I kind of shy away from it because when it first came out there was a lot of problems with issues.. I've shot in the prodigy at the gun range several times I just don't think the extra money is worth it compared to the Apollo 11 or the MAC-9
Full transparency bro it’s really not. Performance wise either of the 3 will perform great trust me. I just personally favored the prodigy but that’s just preference not due to comparison. The new generations of the prodigy don’t have those same issues. I had the first batch of the 5in and those were the true problem child. Mines had all kinds of feeding issues and failure to go into battery. They’ve since fixed those issues. Which truly weren’t much of a serious issue but, more of it needing the extractor tuned. But if it was a matter just wanting a reliable gun and saving money either of those two would be fine.
@@loganrhodes1741 it’s a great gun, and if you port it omg does it become flat shooter. Like it wasn’t bad at all stock but once it’s ported it’s a different beast.
@@Gun_God1 Lol I know the feeling. I look at some companies turnaround times and it be like 4-6 months depending on what you want done. Unless you go with Monsoon Tactical. At least he puts you in a que and when you're like 2 weeks out they have you send it in.
Kudos for getting all these in the same place at the same time man, bravo. I have a Mac 9 DS, I swapped the grip out for mjd villain grip and I absolutely love it. A two not triggered down to sub 3 lb with just a spring adjustment. I shot it next to my buddy's prodigy and I prefer it over the prodigy. At first I didn't think it was oversprung, and now that I've got it broken in I think it may be oversprung just a little, I may move it down a pound or two on the spring and check it out. I've heard 13 lb spring works really well in there.
I've been looking into different grip modules myself. I will have to look into that one for sure. I am thinking of grabbing a spring kit from Atlas and playing around with the different weights to see which one works best for me. I do plan to do an update video once I get some work done on mines. Because right now I feel like it's not a fair comparison seeing as how the others have work done to them.
Love the vid..Good thing is in a couple years everyone is going to have a double stack offering.. the 1911 high capacity isn't going anywhere and I'll bet everyone has one on the drawing board....
@@CA.0verview The prodigy uses MIM parts. What do you mean? Also Colion Noir is sponsored/receives all the guns for free. (I've only heard this once, but it makes sense when you hear his videos, he never says anything negative)
@@Yellow_Flannel sorry my statement sound confusing, I’m throwing shade at Noir and Springfield for pricing their “budget guns” high and with mim parts. That’s a bad taste . Also the humble marksman Channel shills for Springfield just so any reader knows.
That’s not quite correct. I did the work on these guns. The Prodigy and Apollo (from a 1911 builder’s perspective) had superior slide/frame and barrel fit out of the box. They all need and deserve a little gunsmith fluff n buff given the price range, but the Prodigy didn’t require the aftermarket mods, we just did that one first. They’d all be vastly superior with a toolsteel match ignition set and some tuning, like most 19/2011’s. Additionally, there are some tolerance issues (out of spec) with the Tisas grip module and a few other things that, while reliable stock, make upgrades extremely difficult.
Bro I’ve been trying to get my hands on one for the longest. Everytime I try to buy one they are sold out. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them. The one I truly want is the legion precision ChiRaq. I’m from Chicago and I hear that gun is amazing. But the price reflects it too.

@@arsenal_27 Chiraq I heard it's a great gun, on the bul Armory don't give up on it. Keep up the good videos and look for more to come 👍🏾
Nice video big dawg 💪🏽I have the MAC 9DS and I love it 🔥but I was thinking of getting the APOLLO 11 or the TISAS DS what do you think would be a better option?
Appreciate it bro, the Mac 9 is fire 🔥 and I love it so far. And it’s still stock. I know once I put a little work into it like redoing the trigger and some more minor things I know it will be tough to beat. I honestly say go the Apollo 11 route. It’s a better built firearm compared to the b9r carry or duty from Tisas. I hear the night stalker is a close contender to the Mac 9. I’m looking at getting the Apollo 11 compact myself. That’s the one they put the improvements into. Don’t get me wrong the Tisas one isn’t bad but after having the Mac it would be a true downgrade in my opinion
Nice, I was about to order the Apollo 11 compact at first before getting the Mac 9. Only because I couldn’t find one for the longest. Then I came across a Mac 9 and was like well let me grab one while I can. Still plan to own the Apollo 11 compact and will be porting it as well. Sending my prodigy 4.25 off to get ported hopefully next week.
Awesome job brother! I am going to roll with the Prodigy because it with a few budget upgrades can run with a staccato. It the short of things the prodigy started the tier levels of 2011’s, I shoot USPSA and see everything out there. It’s a nail driver as a shooter that is an understatement for this firearm which isn’t focused on enough. I’ll be back to that baby soon!!
I can’t agree more with you. It caught a lot of hate when it first hit the market. Mostly due the few issues that the early production models had. And most of those issues were with the 5in models which I was part of that first group sadly. But I had my gun tuned by my local gun smith at Wolfe Gunworx and afterwards fell in love with it. Super nice shooter and I know a few people running it as their competition guns. I haven’t got into competition yet but certainly thinking about it in the near future for sure.
It's common sense they put the RMSC on the cheaper 2011 options. The RMSC is generally a cheaper red dot and when you go to pair it, you pair it with what you already have like a Sig Romeo, Crimson Trace or Holosun.
You won’t be disappointed either way honestly. I still want the compact version myself. Trying to decide if I want to buy that next or wait until after I get this Canik TTI
You right I didn’t have the night stalker in the line up. But that’s because unfortunately I don’t own that one. But I’ve heard great things about it. I would love to try it out one of these days.
I have really high end double stacks & I have double stacks around the 1K mark. I notice the difference but honestly it's what you can afford. What your willing to pay. What your willing to do? The care you put into your pistol. I think all pistols are great! Yes, I notice a difference but jeez...have an open mind. Some people have a budget. Others don't! Don't shoot (no pun intended) them down for it. I have 2-MAC 9 DS. I think they are amazing! I have all GIRSANS 2011 & I think they look & feel & shoot amazing. They're not Staccato or Bul Armory SAS 2 but they're great pistols. But guess what, I have my Sandhawk from Nighthawk Custom & also my custom Treasurer from them. The guy above is speaking truth. Not everyone is gonna have Staccato cash. Nighthawk Custom cash or Cabot cash. With a little more time & a little more cash to change the internals over time. You can make a a MAC 9 DS flawless. A GIRSAN Witness feel even better. A Springfield Armory Prodigy shoot like butter. Just my 2 cents.
You hit it on the head brother. At the end of the day it's what you can afford or better yet what do you want the gun for. I've had the pleasure of shooting some amazing high guns before and some of them are truly amazing and I can see why they cost what they do. But there is some pretty nice budget friendly options out there too that I feel like some people just overlook based off their price point. I knew when I got mines that I would more than likely do some upgrades right off the back just to get them from decent to really nice. And so far I couldn't be happier. If I had the budget for a Nighthawk trust me I would own one its one hell of a firearm.
I recently got the Mac 1911 ds 400 rounds thru it without any issues only complaint is a 6lb trigger I resolved that right away now at 3.5 probably going to do a few other spring tweaks .
Yeah my trigger pull was crazy too. I have mines down to just under 3lbs now. Next thing I need to work on is the magazine release I feel it is too stiff. I’m contemplating getting mines ported.
i really want to find a mac 9 on sale and use it as a tinker gun. They just release the different grip modules for it so i'd upgrade that, 19lbs main/13lbs recoil springs from atlas and an upgraded flat trigger from atlas and i feel that'd be an ideal "budget" 2011. I've see these as low as 799 on sale + 80 for the grip module, 15 for springs, 60 for trigger? so for under a grand if you get it that cheap? I'd take that over a stock prodigy imo.
Prodigy’s still rules the budget / semi budget 1911 Double stack arena, as they are the best foundation to build / upgrade from … Range Footage , 5 Prodigy’s Tested ua-cam.com/video/n76ttVa7dgw/v-deo.html
I only have two DS 1911s in my collection currently. Neither of them are on the 2011 platform. They are both all steel guns on the Para Ordance style. My oldest is a Springfield Armory 1911A1 in 45ACP and the second is a RIA 22TCM/9MM Convertible. I like them both and they are just 2 of 18, 1911s in my collection. I am interested market for a 2011 style gun and I think I will finally land on the Tisas Nightstalker. This is based on price and quality and aesthetics. I don't question or fault your choice of the Prodigy for its aesthetics as this is a purely subjective criteria. I have two Tisas 1911s in my collection a Stingray and a Nightstalker both in 9mm. I personally think the Nightstalker is one of the most attractive production 1911s currently available. But again this is a subjective opinion not a quantifiable criteria. This is the first of your videos I have viewed but I promise it won't be the last.
I was looking at the Nightstalker at first before grabbing the BR9 Carry. But, they were always sold out. I agree it is a nice looking gun. However, in my state the threaded barrel makes it a problem for us to own sadly. My first 1911 was a Tisas .45 and I still love that gun to this day. Thank you for your comment and I hope I can produce more content that you enjoy watching.
My edc is the prod 4.25 like the mac 9 but my rpd says usa made on it. Thats alone worth the price change. Plus prod is by far the best looking even over a staccoto. Except for a infintiy 10k pistol . I think prod is hest looking over all 2011 not just budget. The prod is soooo clean looking.
As a Staccato owner... they aren't that earth shatteringly amazing; its a nice gun don't get me wrong...but they all function the same. Most owners if you could place them in a blind test shooting them I would bet couldn't tell the difference than most other than the polymer triggers and body of a couple of them. Especially w the Prodigy.
My MAC 9 is one of the finest pistols and most accurate I’ve ever shot. The sights suck and I had to do a trigger job and bring it down to 4 lbs. but after that it stays in my holster.
Hey my man, I just purchased a C&H Precision Comp for my MAC 9 DS. I'm a Holosun guy the 508T is my favorite I have that optic on all of my pistols I am going to try the C&H just this once I've heard positive things every where... It looks god on your pistol... Oh I'm loving that song bruh!!! 😎
I’m a Holosun guy myself so I understand where you’re coming from with the reservations about it. But I tried it and couldn’t be happier with it honestly. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all. Let me know what you think when you try it out
Cool review, I love the T shirt Brother. I kinda like the budget guns. More money for other things. Some of the optics cost more than the guns themselves.
Unfortunately I also side to the prodigy based on everything I have seen over time. Still saving for a bull armory ... not saving money.... saving wife points
Haha trust me I know what you mean. Luckily for me mines support my crazy obsession with guns. But I would love a Bul Armory myself. If only I can ever find one in stock!
Appreciate the line up man. It’s all love But if I may give me input, first video I’ve seen of yours but I’d say a shirt mic to pick up your vocals would do well, I had to turn it up a bit to really hear you which wouldn’t have been an issue if it weren’t for the persistent clapping at every point you made. Like I said all love but man it was brutal on my ears.
@@mr.butler5938 I’ve definitely upgraded to one. You are completely right the sound was getting drowned out by the gun fire. Input is definitely valued by me so I appreciate it
Two great choices indeed. I’ve shot the Kimber and tho it was nice I personally like the Tisas better. But when I say that I’m referring to the Mac 9 version. Now if price point is a determining factor than the br9 is the best option. No matter which direction you go you can’t go wrong
I made it clear when giving my opinion on the different guns what the pros and cons were even with modifications or not. But I made it very clear that even with the mods or not they were all great guns. The Mac just was released only reason it wasn’t modded yet. But thanks for the feedback. Maybe I’ll do an update video once I get it back from my gunsmith
Apollo 11 has a lousy grip module. Call Springfield and order the Prodigy grip module and main spring housing shipped less than $60. I did replace the grip safety with a Chen instead of fitting the OEM one and an Atlas medium trigger. Ordered a magwell from Dawson Precision. Ran out of cash for the 407k.
I dont want to knock any of your awesome ds 1911's but in the video it looks like the extractor on the mac 9 might need some work cause it looked like your ejected shells were hitting your optic few times and seemed a little more eregular than the rest of your line up other than that looked like a definite continder with the rest of the line up thanks for the video i really want to get into the ds 1911 or 2011 game always hated the triger on striker fired pistols
Okay bruh I purchased the MAC 9 DS 4.25 for $829 I know I said it had to be a 5" changed my mind bruh... Picking it up this week. What optic are you rocking on the MAC 9? The MAC seems to be flatter..?😎
Congratulations on the purchase you won’t be disappointed I assure you on that one. I’m rocking the new C&H Precision comp optic it’s a SRO style optic. I love the way it looks on mines.
I personally think if we are just going off looks something about the apollo 11 just catches my eye. I just got into the 2011 "not" 2011, DS 1911 world with the mac 9 and i love it so far. Id love to get a prodigy and an apollo 11 in the future i know the mim parts are a turn off for most but its easy enough to swap them for non mim parts. I love the honeycomb pattern of the apollo 11 grip module but ive heard bad things about it just like you said 3d printed and fairly flimsy compared to its competitors.
First of all welcome to the platform.. It's not a cheap platform that's for sure. But the joy of shooting them makes it worth it. And the Apollo 11 does stand out a lot. I think it's because it looks different than the others. It's a great gun for sure and the slide is butter way smoother than the others to me. I personally want to add the Apollo 11 compact to the lineup.
Mac9 ds good budget 2011 but definatly not a prodigy. The prodigy with some cheap upgrades with springfield craftsmanship usa made is closer to a staccoto then closer to a turkish made 2011. Budget 2011 are great to get into 2011.plus prodigy os 1500 all other models on video under 1000. Your are spot on and staccato fans boys hate this. I put 100 bucks in upgrades to my prodigy 4.25 and me and my buddy a staccoto c2 owner compared them. Fan boys you will not like this and will argue this. Byt my buddy the c2 owner shot my prodigy better then his own edc. He even said it is quite a diffrence in how the prodigy shoots flatter now. Yes i dont have all stock. The main think is recoil and main spring was changed with a guid rod buffer installed total upgrade 21 bucks at atlas. The other change was trigger reworked to 2.5 lb trigger. A true staccoto fan owned that edc his c2 says yes my $1521 dollar prodigy out shot his 2500 dollar pistol. Yes i know prod has mim parts. Doesnt make it shoot worst. It just means they might not or might last as long as staccoto parts. Now tell me this. Is it worth it to be a fan boy and spend 1000 more. Note. If i change all mim parts and make a apple to apple compariosn with the two pistols cost $250 thru atlas. Is it worth it to be a fan boy for 750 bucks more and have a staccoto. My thought NOOO. Oh also prodigy much better looking pistol then staccoto in ky book much cleaner look. Just what i like
That particular Apollo 11 was ported… my Apollo 11 has a Prodigy Grip and V10 ports those 2 inexpensive upgrades certainly improved my Apollo 11… I am sure that’s why his Apollo 11 shot as flat as it did in this video…
I hate to admit that I was about to skip this video because I was expecting to see another old white gun guy (like myself) running around larping to a crappy bar rock song and mag dumping at a range.... Subbed my brother:)
Go ahead bruh I hear ya... You keep identifying the Tisas B9R a carry, am I correct... Saying carry can confuse some people. I'm getting one of those to be a project pistol very soon. I think I'm leaning towards the ??????????? I don't know at this point. Lol... Has to be 5 inch though. 😎
@@arsenal_27 Okay as I mentioned I prefer the 5 inch for a project pistol... I have a few mid to high end 2011/DS pistols, like you said bruh very addictive!!! 😎
The tisas build quality is unmatched. Prodigys don't even work unless you spend 1,000 on gunsmithing work. My vote it's for the tisas any day they have the best quality control and their guns actually work
I totally disagree sorry. I have one of the 5in gen 1 batch and yes it had issues with going into battery. Those fixes were taken care of at a very minimum price. No where near a $1000 as you stated. When someone spends that kind of money they are customizing the gun. My 4.25 is the latest version and It hasn't had one issue and it currently sits at 1500rds. I personally think based off the first batches of the gun everyone gave them a bad rep.
Listen idk about your tisas b9r double stack but mine? Mine shoots 5 inches low at 7 yards. If this is supposed to be a carry pistol and its that far off from the factory? Fuck that. Ive seen its an issue with alot of them. I cant rely on a gun thats 5 inches off at 7 yards.
I love these comments, I truly do. But I rather not spend that type of money on a staccato, then turn around and spend even more money trying to personalize it to my taste. I am just not a of stock look. One staccato P cost as much as two of my "Budget 1911 DS's" and that's with having them both modded. Nothing against Staccato they make great firearms. But I like variety to be honest. I may add one to the collection one day.
Hey I don’t discriminate when it comes to the pew pew life. We all have our preferences and favorites. I own at least 7 glocks myself. No staccatos yet but definitely on my wishlist. At the end of the day we all in the 2A community need to band together because politicians are trying to take our joy, passion, and livelihood away. 🫡
Say what i want? Ok.. Take it for what its worth? Ok.. Not everyone can afford a staccato? Ok Lol.. those are the nicest guns in your collection? You should sell all that j-yunk.. and you could afford a nicer gun.. not a weak azz staccato either. How you doin a comparison video or versus battle when a couple of them had work done? Thats apples and oranges.. all you can compare is the ass-tetics lol.. you said say what you want
lol wow, now I couldn’t help but laugh at this post. You’re entitled to your opinion that’s the great thing about the internet. But rather than go back and forth fueling negativity isn’t worth the energy. But thanks for viewing and commenting. Have a blessed day.
lol well that’s the first time I’ve heard anyone say that. I think they are pretty nice guns to be honest. But it’s hard to pull the trigger on getting one only because of the price point. But knowing me I’ll have at least one in the collection this year.
Bul armory better than STI. MAC shooting above its weight.just upgrade the grip module, which most do anyway, and that is a $2k+ pistol as far as comparisons go.
No they're not. The Mac has a bull barrel The other does not. The Mac has an RMR cut the other has rmsc or some shit. The Mac has a four slot rail the other has a three and has trouble fitting full size lights. The sites are different, finish might be different I can't remember. There might be more but that's all I got off the top of my head
I would agree and disagree with you at the same time. The Mac has all the bells and whistles that the carry model wish it had. For example the Bul Barrel, Mag well, Full length guide rod, larger optic cut, better grip texture (still feels slick though), and better sights. But, I can see how at first glance you would think that.
Grave video my friend. One problem. If it cost more than $900. You can't call it budget anything. If it's base buy in of the firearm is more than $900. It's not a budget gun at all.

Great video!!
I love the MaC9 and carry model
I love both of mines too. I was so shocked by the Mac 9
That shirt is Pro level.
Awesome video I've been trying to figure out witch one of these to get thank u for the show 👊😁
You can’t go wrong with any of them my brother
Nice collection. I'm getting my Apollo this week. Looking into these other ones also.
Trust me you want be disappointed
Love my Apollo 💩
@@loganrhodes1741 it’s a great gun, and if you port it omg does it become flat shooter. Like it wasn’t bad at all stock but once it’s ported it’s a different beast.
@arsenal_27 I definitely want to get it ported but I don't want to send it somewhere to do it 😂
@@Gun_God1 Lol I know the feeling.
So if the Prodigy (after a tune) is similar to the stock MAC 9 and the MAC 9 is already cheaper... it's no competition for me.
Facts, but Colion Noir will still tell you the prodigy is the better gun. MIM parts and all the upgrades needed to perform well.
@@CA.0verview ah got it.
Humble marksman is great for competitive shooting advice. I take his views on pistols in that same light.
Also bro, have you ever considered or shot The bul armory SAS tac 2.. 4.25? It is my favorite all time 2011 gun
@@arsenal_27same dude , go to their site and set up in stock notifications , you’ll get one immediately just be ready to put that card in cause they gone in 5 mins
@@arsenal_27 Chiraq I heard it's a great gun, on the bul Armory don't give up on it. Maybe I got lucky but I randomly look for it then it was constantly sold out then one day I looked it it was there I immediately purchased it and I'm so glad I did. Keep up the good videos and look for more to come 👍🏾
@@cliftonbean I haven't gave up on the bull armory just yet. And I have more video Ideas lined up.
Nice video big dawg 💪🏽I have the MAC 9DS and I love it 🔥but I was thinking of getting the APOLLO 11 or the TISAS DS
what do you think would be a better option?
Can you post a video when you do the upgrade for the MAC 9 🙏🏼
I love my Prodigy!
I also have the Mac,
And i ordered the apollo compact today.
It would awesome if you also do an update with the KDS9C thanks
I think I'm going to go with the Apollo
You won’t be disappointed either way honestly. I still want the compact version myself. Trying to decide if I want to buy that next or wait until after I get this Canik TTI
Hell yeah bro. Great review!
Tisas night stalker ds were is at
You right I didn’t have the night stalker in the line up.
Prodigy’s still rules the budget / semi budget 1911 Double stack arena, as they are the best foundation to build / upgrade from …

The spinning display is a cool idea, however it is less effective in the dark/shade.
You got a new subscriber! Salute!
This is very true, I just love the platform as a whole. But then again I love most guns in general lol
@@arsenal_27 agree 100%
Let me know what you think when you try it out
@@arsenal_27 Will do..! 😎
Cool review, I love the T shirt Brother. I kinda like the budget guns. More money for other things. Some of the optics cost more than the guns themselves.
Thank you and you’re right the SRO’s cost about $600 which is crazy to me
Good review, Thanks!
can you include the Platypus? just for kicks
I would love to but don't own that one and no one close to be does either. So, that video may take a while unfortunately
@@arsenal_27we will be patiently waiting😂
its not budget friendly lol
Unfortunately I also side to the prodigy based on everything I have seen over time. Still saving for a bull armory ... not saving money.... saving wife points
Haha trust me I know what you mean. Luckily for me mines support my crazy obsession with guns. But I would love a Bul Armory myself. If only I can ever find one in stock!
even if the MAC and the Tisas are the same, I would buy the Tisas... the one I currently own is the Springfield Prodigy DS
Input is definitely valued by me so I appreciate it
Good video!
Thank you I appreciate it sincerely
I’m thinking of getting a Tisas br9 carry or a Kimber KDS9C which one you think
Two great choices indeed. I’ve shot the Kimber and tho it was nice I personally like the Tisas better. But when I say that I’m referring to the Mac 9 version. Now if price point is a determining factor than the br9 is the best option. No matter which direction you go you can’t go wrong
For comparison videos either leave them all stock or give them the same customization- otherwise what’s the point
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks fam I appreciate it 🫡
The night stalker is intriguing me
I was checking that one out as well
Apollo 11 has a lousy grip module. Call Springfield and order the Prodigy grip module and main spring housing shipped less than $60. I did replace the grip safety with a Chen instead of fitting the OEM one and an Atlas medium trigger. Ordered a magwell from Dawson Precision. Ran out of cash for the 407k.
I’ve upgraded it to the prodigy grip since making this video. Best bang for the buck option for sure. I went with Atlas safety’s for mines
Yeah I noticed that after making the video and watching it. It’s since been back to Wolfe gunworx for some tuning.
You could have a staccato xc with what you have on the table.
This is true but I like variety lol. But, who knows one day I may be fortunate enough to add one to the collection.
Which optics plate are you using on the Prodigy for the 507 comp?
I’m running the A14B I believe. It’s the same one for the 407c and SRO
That's a minimum of 5k sitting on the table not including the lights on modifications
What magwell did you put on the Tisas?
I have the Dawson precision magwell on there
Who did your Apollo 11 porting?
Wolfe gunworx
Just what i like
What do you mean by 3d printed for the Apollo ?
The grip module of the Apollo 11 is 3D Printed. But it does have great grip texture just not as rigid
I’m sorry, man, but I didn’t see any recoil out of that Apollo 11
That particular Apollo 11 was ported… my Apollo 11 has a Prodigy Grip and V10 ports those 2 inexpensive upgrades certainly improved my Apollo 11… I am sure that’s why his Apollo 11 shot as flat as it did in this video…
I know Robert Johnson when I hear it lol.
Platypus💯
I like the lfa apollo11 but the compact
Great Video Average Joe sent me lol
Well I appreciate you checking out my video. And huge shoutout to Average Joe. He has some great content on his page as well.

@@arsenal_27 You're doing great. God bless 🙏
Yes when I say carry I’m referring to the B9R. The carry is the 4.25 and the duty is the 5in. For the price it’s not a bad gun at all.
Those issues have been worked out man with the prodigy there running fine 4k and running just oil
Just save the money and get a staccato
I love these comments, I truly do. But I rather not spend that type of money on a staccato, then turn around and spend even more money trying to personalize it to my taste. I am just not a of stock look. One staccato P cost as much as two of my "Budget 1911 DS's" and that's with having them both modded. Nothing against Staccato they make great firearms. But I like variety to be honest. I may add one to the collection one day.
@@arsenal_27 I totally understand
I hate first impressions and reviews on guns that haven’t been shot or lack mods to level the playing field. Do better.
Well you’re entitled to your opinion. But thanks for watching anyway
Staccato and Glock Fanboys are like Cowboys Fanboys they are irritating
Hey I don’t discriminate when it comes to the pew pew life. We all have our preferences and favorites. I own at least 7 glocks myself. No staccatos yet but definitely on my wishlist. At the end of the day we all in the 2A community need to band together because politicians are trying to take our joy, passion, and livelihood away. 🫡
It's a fad.... Just like the Internet
Say what i want? Ok.. Take it for what its worth? Ok.. Not everyone can afford a staccato? Ok
Lol.. those are the nicest guns in your collection? You should sell all that j-yunk.. and you could afford a nicer gun.. not a weak azz staccato either. How you doin a comparison video or versus battle when a couple of them had work done? Thats apples and oranges.. all you can compare is the ass-tetics lol.. you said say what you want
lol wow, now I couldn’t help but laugh at this post. You’re entitled to your opinion that’s the great thing about the internet. But rather than go back and forth fueling negativity isn’t worth the energy. But thanks for viewing and commenting. Have a blessed day.
Sti gun suck
lol well that’s the first time I’ve heard anyone say that.
The tisas and the mac are the same gun lol
