As a fellow content creator for Albion I felt in love with this game 2years ago. Played multiple Mmo's and find it really enjoyable to stay. With on and offs for sure, but this game will be probably my longest
same never played a game like albion ever, wow, runescape and others aren't enjoyable (personally) as albion, even though i leave for a bit i always come back somehow
I started the game about a week ago after a friend recommended it. Albion is a blast and the thing is that you have so many different things to do and level up, it never get´s too stale. Once you got a good economy, you can just buy premium with in-game currency, which is cool. Lot´s of items get updated from time to time and you can enjoy the game solo, in small or large groups. I´d recommend you play a bit more and see if and where it really clicks for you, be that gathering, big group events or the thrill of PVP. Cheers!
I was addicted on this game during beta. No-lifed so hard i was a good 1-2 gear tiers above everyone else at the time and single handedly carried a guild into the ultra-high risk zones where clans full loot pvp and claim land. Then they chain nerfed many parts of my build because they were 'too widely used by every other build' and then announced the game would be f2p with subscription, when everyone had expected it to be a buy to own. Very sad. Good times though. Try to join a newbie guild and let them guide you. Getting your own farmstead set up to breed horses and farm for potions is pretty kino.
It also kind of needs constant progress wipes or people just get to max and everything is pointless. Late stage albion is stale, premium just globally speeds up that problem. The best comparison I have is to RS ironmen. The first 1-2 months you see so much character growth in what you can do then as you get into the 85+ range with all the big quests done there becomes progressively less to achieve.

I mean they'd be a lot more interesting as unique randomly generated solo+ encounters, different from actual dungeoneering. Like they could be made into inconsistent/random/proximity spawns(without broadcasts), and that'd be a cool lil' dnd you could find while doing clues, quests, slayer, etc.

Not gonna lie I had a ton of fun playing Albion but sadly it got annoying to the point I was getting 1 shot by mob mechanics even when I dodged them because of the ping since the only servers the game has are in NA and I live all the way in SEA. Great video as always tho Mr. K ❤️
Hey man! Can't say i didnt like it. I have tried it out once didnt like it myself but i think it would be really interesting to see a series of this cuz the game does look interesting somehow.
All the crafting/refining resources done is technically done by you the player. The stations are what you need to do those tasks. Albion is pretty capitalistic driven, some ppl do zero combat and are the richest players in the entire game simply by playing the market and transferring items between the individual markets. Since crafting is a level based crafting system where your experience/specialisation matters in terms of quality of the craft. I love Albion personally but it isn't for most ppl Edit: Albion has zero quests btw. They are planning to add quests in the city's and you can do transports for the cities earning you profit. Other than that there is zero content where it forces you from a place to place to complete an objective.
Have not pressed play on vid yet however Albion is a bad ass game and im stoked to see you try it even if you dont end up liking it (pre video comment )
If you start a guild or something in the game i would be down to redl the game and explore it again. Since the game is PVP focused its going to be a lil lacking when it comes to PVE type stuff. As for gathering I personally think the gathering is less enjoyable because you KNOW how much you will get from one and the faming is less stationary. At least in the beginning thats how it was for me. I started playing when they launched a beta after backing it so a lot has changed but upper level grinding can be a bit tedious like how 98 - 99 feels so i personally saved any and all my free points for the tree and for gathering and crafting. The gear building was what drew me to the game originally and there is so much fun stuff. I liked the vid hope to see more from you on albion. Imo the goals to go for are the different weapon type. some really neat axes and even a scythe thats fun to use.
Not saying that albion isn't completely free of pay to win bs but to be fair, you can pay for premium with in game silver. I always have premium and I've never put a cent into the game. You just have to know how to make silver in game
Premium is sort of a pay to win but not really. At the end of the day, some noob 4.1 guy (with low skill even) can kill the most experienced 8.3 guy (with all skills max-out and premium)
Its more eve than runescape. There are some runescape like elements but its definitely more medieval eve online. The tutorial is garbage at explaining what the game really is. There are a lot of systems it doesn't explain at all. Tons of content in the game but it is not gonna fulfill a PVE focused player. The games all about that PVP.
premium can be bought with in-game silver taken from mobs/items/sales in market. i've been playing for 5 consecutive months now and never ran out of premium and never put real money into this. There's a lot of videos out there which helps newbies navigate their way to their own 30day premium, but it still involves some research and grind. Getting first 100k-1m silver might be a grind, but if you know your way to market economy, like traveling to different cities with different price rates and buying/selling stuff, you'll earn millions easily.

To be fair, you have done nothing the average population considers a core part of Albion's lure. Watch Equart on ytube/twitch for good highlights and fun action. He is a good solo player. This is marketed as a full loot pvp sandbox mmo, I am a developer who works with SBI. I do not recommend playing solo as a beginner in a community driven pvp sandbox. I recommend joining a good guild and/or sending me a message and I can show you how to have fun in this game. I am a prev top 5 alliance shotcaller, top 100 guild leader.
