This is why I love this channel. There are so many videos on how to, techniques, etc out there. But these little "secrets" have improved me the most. It's always the little things.

I love that we can train ourselves on how to learn better too! Really shows that we can do anything if we’re passionate enough and willing to push through difficult challenges!

I find it such a relief because that’s really the only way that I’ve gotten anywhere

Sometimes we gotta “embrace the suck” when it comes to the boring repetitive stuff, but I’ve found that there is such an excitement and proud feeling I get when I repeat things and perfect them!
Sometimes I’ll even practice the boring repetitive while I’m watching tv or so. Cause at least that way it’s still practice!
Playing guitar is a skill that needs to be cultivated and grown over time for certain! But I love so much that I have this skill, it’s added more to my life than I can begin to explain!

I believe the word for which you're looking is "interval." It fits a little better than "chunk."

I might be weird, but I actually like doing the monotonous stuff. I can do it over and over for at the very least 20min. I strive for perfection and have the motivation to get faster little by little. I do not know if this is a problem, but I do find my mind wandering a little bit and when I come back to what I am doing, I am right on time with the metronome and playing with very few mistakes. I wonder if that means I should move on to something more challenging?

That is a good sign that you can challenge yourself a bit more. That's how you're going to keep getting better, though, and you're doing awesome!

I think it’s great that you strive for perfection! That makes everything you do all that much better!
We build up on the basics, build up on the boring, build into something incredible and amazing!
Start challenging yourself more little by little!

Why are there even musical schools anymore? Nobody appreciates talented musicians anymore. It’s all about that idiotic rap music now.

We have kids every single week walking into our school wanting to learn rock and loving good music. There is hope for the future
