Also just mentioning cause the 3 people below say Les.
Sasquatch Chronicles is hosted but Wes Germer.
They sound similar, Wes & Les.

First Time on this channel , a combat vet , moved to the mountains to get away to self heal after retirement, and the humbleness ,kindness intelligence that he shared in his story showed the level of discipline that really only certain individuals I believe hold as to not pull the trigger says so much in this story as well as what truly kind of man and human this John truly is … before I moved to the mountains to find some peace and to get right , had a situation where I Drew my weapon on an individual and although I clearly had the lawful avenues to defend myself and property, I had the exact same feelings and thoughts in my mind to hold off and not pull the trigger and the situation quickly descalated and they went on there way peacefully as well and Im grateful for that to this day . Not sure why but I’ve been watching and listening to all these encounters from around the world and although never seeing one before and now finding myself addicted to this subject I find it so hard to believe that so many people like John who are intelligent, Humble , professionals , from police officers , school teachers , construction workers , professors everyday people could be so sincere and detailed with zero reason to hoax or lie have such amazing encounters and science has not taken them seriously… What a great guest and podcast thankful I found this ..

Like other viewers have said, this was by far the best, most articulate encounter story I have ever heard. Having just listened to the podcast with George Knapp yesterday about the recent Sasquatch DNA findings, this story is even more moving & gripping. Many thanks to both of you. There are many Sasquatch channels. I started with yours years ago. Being a counselor your interviews convinced me of his existence. The trauma in people's voices say more than the sum of their words ever could. I listen as a mental health professional, the emotional stress, the engramic deep seated fear and uncontrollable PTSD speak far louder than the story. Are there some l don't believe? Of course, there are always those who are desperate to be included and heard. I'm happy to say l find 99% to be valid and relating traumatic experiences.

Idk he’s suspicious for sure. You can’t say that 100% over an audio clip. You’d have to see his facial expression’s and ticks he’s doing when Making substantial claims as these. Such as when he goes from the last knock on the door to him running to the hole. If I could see his face and see him look at me and tell me this story without looking around and rubbing there nose and doing things liars do. Called soothers or comforters cuz they know they’re lying. And know I know they’re lying so they look away or run there knee something. But when someone’s telling the truth they look you in the eye and mean what they say. Some ppl are good liars tho.

While this entire encounter story is captivating, I was most intrigued by the description of the "scream-roar". These creatures can leave u scared , but as a child we lived with a clan and the big guy can terrify u to your core. They are intelligent. With there hearing my great papa said they can hear a human step miles away, and their sense of smell is greater then a dog. Their power and stamina is more powerful then we can understand. My papa said they can run at a steady pace for 50 miles. Which is used for hunting. And each clan is different fortunately we had a clan that respected our boundaries. Because if they wanted to kill u they could at anytime. These creatures go on scare tactics because u are in their boundaries and want u to leave. And they are incredibly flexible they can crawl like a snake and so low to the ground it's frightening. And jump over 20 feet in one bound. Ok these creatures get very angry when u move into their place there home. Because these people bulid these log houses and homes in the back of the forest. Your taking away which was there for as long as their families. And they are master hiders they blend in with there environment

    • @gloriajoe3512
      @gloriajoe3512 2 роки тому +1

So heed my warning pic up and leave. Because they will torment u relentlessly to make u leave. Ok I was tramitized as a child. But with the stories and time passing by and learning the dos and don't of these creatures. I have learned to live my life again and not really forget but to let go. And to this gentleman he made the right decisions. And it's true there ways to bring them down not kill them but to slow them down. And that is in the knee, elbow, eye and elbow area's because they don't have the body mass or coverage. And if there's one there is alway a family around. And about them moving and we can't hear them. Is because of the padding on there feet and they know how to take a step so softly. So to all my great grampa lived with these creatures all his live. So be careful out there. If they want to hurt u or kill u they would.

We have had a cinnamon bear charge us and a black bear follows us on a trail. We also had 2 mountain lions one stalking and the other we think was wounded. The wounded one screamed like a woman being stabbed. She screamed all night long. My child ,dog and my self all slept in our car. Later my husband joined us. I will never go into the woods with out a gun. I have heard tree knocking and replied back. It was far away and yes we had a rifle with us.

I couldn't see it I didn't really believe in sasquatch so I thought it was a crazy lady. It seemed to be angry at me very much but it also seemed to recognize that I was annoyed and not hostile. Because it could have killed me in my sleep. It seemed like it was angry about the land being polluted because this happened in a half urban half rural environment, I stay at a native burial ground.

I never served but one of the proudest moments of my life is being there for a friend freshly back from Iraq in 06 (my senior year of HS was 02 so I had a lot of friends and family serve) who was dealing with a lot of mental anguish, ptsd and survivors guilt. He was in his truck with a loaded handgun in his mouth and I helped him work through his immediate issues without ending it. I am only proud of it because this man gave a piece of himself away and was the only one in his humvee who survived an IED and had to live with the aftermath of that horror. I am only proud of it because he served, and sacrificed and I did not but I was able to help him in his most desperate hour. Wow that's a scary story man if the Soldier was never in combat I bet he wouldn't have survived that situation but it definitely helped him. What a story man it pisses me off when people don't believe a story like this. Those Sasquatch threw infrasound at him to stun him so to speak, thank God he felt that feeling before, because they thought it would cripple him to be easily attacked. I really believe they are like people not Animals and very intelligent.

    Dear Wes & John,
This is one of the best videos I have ever heard. Thank you for sharing this video with us Wes and may I also say that your channel has amazing encounters and you should be proud of your channel!
    John,
There are not enough words to say thank you for your service to our country and how incredible you were during your encounter.
You proved to me that it takes more than bravery to endure such an encounter as the one you experienced. I am just so proud of you and I pray that people will take heed of what you were trying to get across to everyone. You are so right, these things, what ever they are, stand alone in what they must be. I have dealt five years with these things at my home and I certainly don’t know what they are…..
Blessings to You Wes and John and May You Both Live a Long and Happy Life!

Very interesting what he said about the fear factor (which he knew was being thrown at him) not having that much of an effect on him as we've heard from other people's encounters, because he had dealt with it before in combat and knew how to deal with it. 45:37 ish.

This is thee best encounter I've heard.
This guy was so brave and his attention to remembering details was excellent.
I have no doubt that his story is real.
But he should have let people do their investigations, especially if they were scientists. If they would have gotten hurt that would have been their own fault.

I've seen Mount Hood area & it's creepy from afar, I got the strong feeling that beasts do lurk out there free & they're territorial. These beasts are not friendly fuzzy creatures to play with, they are highly intuitive & have a keen sense of observation & read your every move with paravertebral communication On top of staying hidden unless they want you to see them. I experienced them following an Elk herd in Oregon off the highway. I only saw one but I knew that it was not alone. Stay intuitive ppl & stay safe.

I very much agree with this former combat soldier about the Sasquatch "being a thing unto themselves". That will always be the answer for me no matter what the description of the Sasquatch. I recently heard a Sasquatch podcast wherein the speaker ("experiencer") described one as "just like Chewbacca from Star Wars". Again, you have the concept of something incomparable, being UNIQUELY what it is as a member of its own race. I truly feel that if we keep that in mind, we should as well attach to this the concept that as we as humans are of different emotional and mental states, and different levels of education and experience (relevant to our environments in which we are attempting to survive) so too are these unique beings. That is, there are ones we consider good and there are those considered very, very "bad". In other words, these two very different members of this same "race" of entity have different codes and different considerations about how they are to survive. Nothing is done by anyone, of any race, that is outside of the idea that what they did or are doing is done or was done in order to SURVIVE. It can be screwy as hell from OUR POV, but that does not alter the fact that they found it necessary to operate that way in order to best whatever hostile creature, human, animal or situation was facing them.
