The reason Gordon locked Hoffman away was because Hoffman killed Jill. Jigsaw didn’t want anything to happen to Jill so in the event of her death Gordon was to respond to it immediately on Jigsaw’s behalf. Had Hoffman not killed Jill, he most likely would have lived.
If you look up the story behind 3D, the movie was meant to be 2-part movie but since Saw Vl did not went well at the box office the studio told them to just make it all into one movie. In the commentary of the movie, I think it was either the director or writers, but they said that the two other pig mask henchmen were the guys at the first trap.
I thought this one wasn't the best, but I did like some stuff in it like the police station scene of Hoffman killing everyone and Jill getting the bear trap kill was cool. I think the story of the guy faking about being in a saw trap was a cool idea. Hoffman outsmarting the police was cool to see and the saw trap of the nazis was cool. The part where John showed up in a backwards hat was funny, it felt like he was trying to blend in into the crowd. The parts where they showed the CGI 3D parts were bad.
This was by far the worst of them all for me. It was supposed to wrap up the story but due to the reasons you listed it was rushed and put together in the worst way possible.
Dued, this was incredible. When you talk about gross sequences you get this look in your eyes like a deer going into a harvester. Love it. Thanks for digging deep
Gibson’s acting made me laugh the last viewing I did of this movie.

I've experienced something similar to that when I was going through Steven Johnson syndrome. So the skin on my front and back and upper arm was decaying so the hospital had to put on these sticky adhesive Chucks to pull the skin off my back and front. But they couldn't pull it off dry because then I would start bleeding profusely so what they did was they soak me in a tub. Like the medical tub in Halloween 2 and then they start pulling but it was still excruciating.
This movie will corrupt your mind. 😮

To me very decent horror movie, yes it's very big nosedive in quality compared to first 6 Saw movies, but I do think that it's still very enertaining movie

They completely dropped the ball on Dr Gordon's return. They should have never shown him that early on in the movie because you knew that he was gonna be a part of everything. It was a total waste, in my opinion.

Same director as SAW X. He has title for worst and best Saw in the series. Kevin didn't want to do Saw 7 and was forced at last minute pulled from Paranormal Activity...
Look at the difference in quality when his heart was in it like Saw X.
Killing off John Kramer so early was like when they killed off Elise Rainier in Insidious, but at least got a few movies first
First time I watched this after Chester's trap my brother looked at me and started singing In The End and I couldn't stop laughing at it at the time. We were both huge fans of Lincoln Park so it was cool seeing him in this

Hey man your lighting looks great in this. I know that's not easy to set up so good on you. And yeah I completely agree with just about everything you were saying about this movie. Years on it's a bit of a guilty pleasure that I still enjoy from time to time but I definitely don't enjoy Hoffman as much as you do he kind of brings down the series for me. I appreciate all your hard work

This was the worst one! The expectations due to being the final chapter of the story didnt help, then it was rushed just to get it out and done. add the bad 3D and this is the only one I wont go back and watch.
