I played the game through on hard so I was forced to play this on hard. It was a nightmare. You can't quiksave on hard so you're forced to go back and do an area all over again if you stuff up. The meat grinders are faster than on here as well.
Euan Kershaw - i noticed this too. You have to start the regular game (new&tasty) and upon exiting it after the 1st play, it informs you you can now access it under "extras" (in New & Tasty). This is on ps4. (I purchased both online) Hope this helps.
im still trying to play this dlc it says its being downloaded it and i looked everywhere on how to play this part and nothing its not downloadsing because it says its already installed!!
@@AnthonyBC93 A walkthrough and a playthrough are different things. A walkthrough is supposed to only show you what to do, to beat the level or section consistently and safely, walking people through the levels as a guide. A playthrough, which this is, shows the player making their way through the game naturally, with all the trial and error involved, all the deaths and fails.

metros2soul Is that a play station thing or something? I have it on PC and I can quicksave on hard, even on Alfs Escape.

I played on hard on the PS4, and I still had the quick save feature. And thank God for it. It would have been pure torture without it.

No, it's available from chapter select :) And you don't have to complete it to get the 'Saviour' Trophy aka Saving all Mudokons :)

Reverend Cosmo Lopez Try restoring your Licences under Settings - PSN - Restore Licences. That fixes Alf's Escape being unavailable. Hope this helps.
I did the room at 3:32 last and killed off the sligs before i activated the checkpoint, now i have to start from the beginning again. :(

Yeah same here. It's supposed to be on the chapter select screen but it's not. Oddworld Inhabitants is currently trying to fix this issue.
