If we as adults, as parents, want to create a world better than the one we have, better than the one our parents gave us, we have to make our children better than we are. In the perspective you’re an inspiration.
- Keep it up for as long as your son accepts it.
Your old boy really marches to the beat of his own drum doesn’t he 😂
must be the age group, my son is exactly the same. Same wacky statements and seems like same thought process....lol..
Mate, appreciate your hard work with the camera. Getting the quality footage takes a good chunk of time and mucking around. Great content!!👍
Much appreciated!
All the drone shots, quick edits, music overlay, titles of location/day, info on the spots/tracks, and feedback on the attractions make these videos so satisfying to watch. Not to mention the 4wding as well! Keep up the great content and I can't wait to check out some of these locations.
Thanks mate! Greatly appreciate the feedback
I look forward to seeing your videos each week and I enjoy the content , much appreciated Tyler. Cheers Geoff
Cheers mate!
I grew up next to the lake Mälaren, Stockholm , Sweden. My patents, siblings and me, spent weeks/months on the lake as well as in the beautiful archipelago of Stockholm as well as during summer as well as winter. Adding to that we all went skiing in the northern mountains in the winter.
- Without understanding it my parents made memories for life for us kids. You’re doing the same/similar to your son even though your conditions are different.
Meaning, you’re doing the same for your kid.
Soon I’ll follow you in your path, but now in Central America, for my youngest son Phillip who’s soon to be 10.
- Thank you, you’re an inspiration. You’re a role model for good parenting.
Beautiful! I hope to have a chance to come to Australia and visit some of these beautiful places. Cheers!
aww shucks, so good to see those places again, even if only through the screen. Thanks Tyler.
Glad you enjoyed!
Another great video Tyler - thanks for sharing mate 👍 Appreciate the amount of effort you put in to make these videos - loved the little timelapse at 16:23. ATB 👍
Glad you like them! Cheers mate
quality content. thanks for the amazing footage and journey
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video as usual. Spectacular country 👍
Absolutely perfect mate well done young man keep up the good work helping your dad 👍🏴
Glad you enjoyed it
That was a nice track
Thank you for sharing
🍻
Good to see the little fella chopping firewood and doing some cooking, handy skills to have.
Awesome as always mate. Cheers Steve
Thank you! Cheers!
As always, an enjoyable video. I reckon through some google maps and web searches I have found this track! Added it to my list of places to explore. Thanks!
Thanks mate! Just be careful because the track on the map takes you straight to the farmers property and he doesn't take kindly to visitors I've heard, need to skip the first section of the track and come on to it after his property
Great moments there with your dad and your son.
What a ripper!!
One of your best vids mate 👌
Legend!
Thank you for making these videos. I wish I was fit and healthy enough to do some of the tracks. I enjoy every one of your videos and have recommended friends to watch and subscribe. Most people have no understanding of the amount of effort in setting up the cameras or the amount of time to edit the videos.
If you are not fit enough to do some of those tracks I reckon you should just drive them then mate.
Looks really beautiful and well shot!
Thanks!
Bloody love your content mate...keep it up.
Well done digger, great drone work and editing on your website, an Tyler it is good, that its only your son, dad an you,one of the main reasons, that I enjoy your videos is it no tag alongs with other people, Stay safe and well.
Great vid. Gotta head out there one day. Good to see the young bloke with his head in a book and not an ipad👍
Thanks mate!
Beautiful country, and a great way to have my morning coffee. I’ll buy a L shirt when your up n running
Thanks mate!
Lovely place there mate. Yoh are very lucky to have such an environment. Love the vid too.👍👍👍.
Thanks 👍
Looks like a awesome trip out. 👍👍
Sure was!
What you do in Australia I want to, will do, in Central America. Meaning, your an inspiration.
Some magic spots mate. Great video content as always. ❤🍺🇦🇺👍
Thanks mate!
Great video bud.. you definitely have a great big area to explore..👍🏿
Thanks 👍
Awesome video as always.
Thanks again!
I am so happy I found your channel. You are my favourite UA-camr in this category hands down. Make sure to keep the beard mate, looks awesome
Thank you! Appreciate it 👌
This is going to be my next trip for sure 👌👌
Great area!
Borders' open now, we snuck across the border to Nymboida during the week, beautiful!! You're going to love Sundown when you get up there - not as lush as the NSW parks but a great remote spot to explore.
Sounds great mate!
Very good vids Tyler. Your camera placement on the tracks when filming the tough sections makes the vids into a quality production. I think the effort involved is worthwhile and is appreciated. A few more drone shots would be good, although I understand that this can be risky in mountainous tree lined country.
Thanks for the feedback mate!
Spectacular video buddy 👍👍👍👍
Lov your channel, Can’t stop Kai talking 😂😂😂
Haha thanks mate!
Fantastic clips mate some beautiful places you guys have visited looking forward to checking out my self now that we can cross the borders a bit more 🇦🇺👍
Absolutely mate!
Another good one mate!
Thank you! Cheers!
Another great adventure and great video mate, well done and thanks for sharing. 😉
And what, you found a river and you ‘might just have a swim’ ?
😂😂😂 I swear you’ve got gills mate !!!
I do like my swims 😁
Worst part about your videos is when they finish i know i have to wait another week! Great vids mate keep it up
Glad you like them! Thanks mate
Great vid
Cool vid Tyler and you’re a great Dad
Thanks mate!
Cracking trip
Cool vid mate
Hey mate, just stumbled across your videos, absolutely love them, just curious as to where you got your stainless steel cargo chest from ?
Styx River that’s going on the to do list
Sensational video.... I know you are wanting to do UA-cam as a fulltime thing but have you ever thought about some tag along tours (include your Dad??) as a way of supplementing your end goals??? Love the areas you go
Thanks mate! I have but pretty flat out with all the UA-cam stuff as is, possibility at some stage
Hello. saludos desde Entre Ríos Argentina
Great video mate, really enjoyed it. You can't seem to encourage Kai or your dad to have a swim. It's always you by yourself.
Awesome
You need to get a collection together to get an arb locker for the front of your dads MUX. It would be a weapon and no longer struggling through everything. I'd pitch in.
Good day mate
Lovely video. Wondering where you bought your fire pit. Safe travels
Got it from Drifta
Ripper video Tyler, great location. FYI: I don't fancy you or anything like that but the beard looks good.😅👍
Haha thanks mate!
Great to see lil Kai getting involved
No reason the Yowies should smell bad, plenty of swimming spots.
Great video as always.
Thanks mate!
Hey mate. Love your channel, as a English ex pat living down under you’ve taught me heeps. Just purchased a n70 luxy and planning a lap. Need to take her on a few test runs. Hoping you can give me the location of this track ? I’m Sydney based
Another great vid!
A couple of questions, if that’s ok. Do you use an electric chainsaw or 2 stroke?
And what’s the procedure for water crossings if I have a manual? Depending on the water depth, is changing gears something to avoid? I’ve heard water can get in to a manual transmission while using the clutch, if the water is deep enough. 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks. Petrol chainsaw and I've never heard anything about it getting into the manual transmission or anything but not 100% sure. I just have breathers for diff, gearbox and transfer and then a snorkel for if its deep enough to get up to your airbox
If you ever find yourself glass house mountains way, let me know I'm a local and I love to show you some tracks here!
Okay thanks mate!
12:38 That's a spot we call cowshot only cause we found a dead cow at the bottom, looks to still be there in the video too 😂
Oh really 😂
Where is my invitation for this trip ;). It looks awesome mate!! Where is this place?
Out styx river way mate 👌
Lets gooo
Where you camped is prone to flooding. Lucky you didn't get washed away.
Hey bro i just wanted to know how much did it cost you to get your 2 inch lift and your 4 new big tyres so i know roughly how much i would need to save for my nav ! 😊
Lift, tyres and rims you would be looking at $4000-$5000
What stretcher is the old boy using?
The leg design looks pretty sturdy. Not like my Adventure Kings one lol
Its a drifta Stockton one
Cheers
Ever copped an angry eel in your camping swims?
I've seen them in the water when ive been swimming but they always swim away
mate would you consider uploading in 2.7 or 4K for those of us with money pits of PCs?
Probably not mate to be honest. Just so much more effort for me, chew through battery life filming in 4K, end up with triple the amount of space taken up on memory cards/hard drives. Much more work for the computer to handle in editing process etc etc
@@TylerThompson90 and the damn rendering time my god
Exactly which location?
Cathedral Rock NP was totally burned in the fires earlier this year due to some muppet starting a “backburn” to protect his marijuana crop...
Damn what a shame!
Great video 😍🔥 Thought I'd ask, do you have any advice for a new fellow youtuber, getting into some adventuring with my nav and would love some advice ❤️
Thanks mate! Catchy Thumbnails and titles are the best way to increase your views 😁
@@TylerThompson90 Cheers mate, appreciate your reply 😁
What is the track?
what bash plates are you running
Custom offroad bashplates
Is this a secret spot or can you share the location?
The falls is pronounced Woll-omobi
Mmm. There's another M in there mate
@@matcampbell8488 yea mate born and bred in the area was just letting him know about how to pronounce it not spell it
Jimny??????????????? What ups
What offset are your wheels ?
+30
@@TylerThompson90 thanks mate and merry Christmas
@@sonny4754 You too mate!
So Tyler what dose your dad eat. I recon hes a meat eater isn't he, because u never show what hes eating lol. By the way great vids mate look forward to it every week
Haha he eats all his own rabbit/kangaroo/fish he gets himself but he often just eats vegetarian on the trips away other then some tinned fish
Where is this bloke?
Is your young fella a lefty? if not he is using an axe as one.
He's right handed haha
you are very worry free swimming, do you care about crocs?
No crocodiles in this part of Australia
@@TylerThompson90 I see thanks I'm like wow this guy fearless !
Great to go to a pristine forest and water system and then park your car in the river and wash it. I’m sure the fish, platypus and kingfishers downstream appreciate it. Why would ya?!
Haha mate, its not like he had a bucket of soap and chemicals out giving it a shine a polish, he was flicking a little bit of water on to it to get some dirt off the door area. No different to driving through a creek, or every time it rains and a heap of dirt, leaves etc runs into the creek.
Yeah
I often wonder what all that brake dust etc does
Killarney near Brisbane used to have a beautiful creek system where the Condamine river starts (part of the Murray Darling) now at best it looks like a muddy creek because all the hundreds of 4wders that go through its 14 river crossings every weekend. It didn’t look like that 40 years ago.
@@TylerThompson90 fair point
@@lastknownlocation8760 yeah mate, its unfortunately the effects the human population are having on the world from all angles. While things like that may have a small impact on the area, other things like deforestation, all the rubbish people leave everywhere, the fact people use massive amounts of chemicals in their homes/daily life that end up in our waterways eventually. I could go on all day but you get the point.
And if you want to talk about the specific example of my dad (Garry) he would be in the top .001% of looking after the environment. He refuses to ever use any products/chemicals when washing his car, he refuses to use any chemicals/detergents around the home, he hunts his own meat to avoid factory farmed animals, grows his own veggies and fruit, turns off every single powerpoint before he leaves the house etc etc
@@lastknownlocation8760 nothing looks like it did 40 years ago
