Susan Howard should have been part of the Dallas reboot. Bobby, JR, Sue Ellen, and Cliff are not the only ones that were part of Dallas. Donna was also a big part of the original Dallas.
I agree as well. I wonder if she was asked at some point? Maybe she's retired and didn't want to participate? We know Victoria is retired didn't want to do it and wouldn't participate anyway if she wasn't. Steve Kanaly was semi retired and didn't want to do the show full time and Ken Kercheval didn't want to do it full time as well.
You are amazing to put together the new series (Pam episodes). I really thought She will return... bit now I know its not will happen. Thank you so much for the bunch of these videos. Im so grateful to find easy to show my friends this new storyline. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Greetings from Hungary 😊😉😇
Everything hinged on Victoria’s desire to play in the sandbox once again. As Pam she could’ve stirred up a LOT of troubling for all the characters in the show-especially Ann, Christopher, & Bobby.
First of all Pam Katherine and Cliff each only received 1/3 of Wentworth Tool and Dye from Rebecca Wentworth. Rebecca left half of controlling interest in Wentworth Industry to Pam and Katherine. Barnes Global never existed.
Yes, and Wentworth Industries was a publicly traded corporation. Rebecca didn't own all of it. She gave Katherine and Pam each 50% of her shares. She gave Cliff 100% of Barnes-Wentworth Oil and gave the three children 1/3 each shares of Wentworth Tool & Dye, the company Rebecca still owned.
All this after jr's suicide death!!!! Very clever. Jr didn't want Ewing global for himself, he knew he was sick & wanted Ewing global to stay in the 'FAMILY'
I recall at the start of Season 2 the actor who played Christopher tweeted that he was excited about the possibility of Victoria returning. He must of have known by then it wasn't happening. It really wasn't his place to put that out there just to drum up false hope for the sake of ratings.
These people are so rich, they find out their mother has had dividends sitting untouched for over 20 years in the bank and they are like,"oh".😮 I would be like oooh! with dollar signs in my thoughts!🙄
I got sick of hearing “Christopher’s mother” Bobby just had no refused for her or their relationship. So sad. The writers did a horrible job on the Pam spectrum
There were two Pamela's in this series it's not easy to refer to them. But I agree they should've started new Dallas with the backstory of Pamela much more clear! To continue with the idea of Pamela being alive, they should've stated that Pamela once or twice contacted Christopher or Bobby through letter/fax offscreen, saying she was okay and asking for not to be disturbed ever again. Off course that with the plot of making her dead since 1989 they could've said Cliff forged her signatures in those letters to give Bobby/Chris idea that she was alive in overseas. It wasn't impossible making this more believable, theg just didn't wanted to think about it.
@@ItThats it was never said she was dead. The recast Pam actress said she only had so much time to live yes but it was never stated that she physically passed. If principal had agreed to reprise the role the character of Pam could have been a huge asset to keep the show on the air for some time. I knew when a reboot was announced she'd say no
That is often how people refer to a long absent ex-spouse. They no longer talk about them as someone they love but almost as a stranger. Time does that. People move on. Their love ends. I have seen the same with people I know when referred to someone long ago they loved. They refer to them as someone's mother, or sister, or whatever. It particularly happens when they are in another marriage for a long time. Their late or ex wife is just a name from the past.
Victoria wanted out. And apparently the writers found a difficult situation even more difficult presenting purr beloved Pam as a mom who just abandon her child and husband. She fought so hard to have a baby and when she found and adopted Kristen’s illegitimate baby by JR, who would have thought she’d give him up!
This show forgot to reveal that Christopher and John Ross are actually cousins AND brothers! J.R. fathered an illegitimate baby with SueEllen’s baby sister, Kristen who Pam and Bobby eventually took in and raised as their own. His name was Christopher. 😮
@@hotgritz4sho Kristen miscarried JR’s baby but became pregnant shortly afterwards to a guy called Jeff Farraday. She let JR think it was her baby for the money. Bobby got a hold of her medical records. So Christopher had no blood relation to the Ewings.

leon roberts I ONLY watched it for Linda Gray, as I did the original series. When she left the show after season 12, I quit watching until she came back for the series finale. NOBODY, then OR now, could or can play drunk better than Linda Gray and those were, at least to me, some of the most powerful, dramatic, and electrifying moments of either series. To this day I STILL have never seen seasons 13 & 14 of the original series because she was no longer on the show. Her last season (12) was the least interesting of her seasons and I see why she left. TOS should have ended with season 11 (the last good cliffhanger) as after that the series seemed on life support. The new series DID have problems, namely no chemistry between Bobby and his new wife Ann (played by a not good actress), Judith Light playing Mitch Pileggi’s mom (when she’s like his same age, in fact even with her old age makeup, he looked older than her, and the biggest problem - Josh Henderson as John Ross. He’s an arrogant, conceited, stuck up, egotistical prick in real life, who merely played himself on the show. His career went nowhere after this was canceled and just last year was arrested for burglary and released for insufficient evidence.
Jock taught JR well! JR was ALWAYS miles ahead of everyone! lol
This series had so much promise. It should’ve been on a bigger network.
That’s exactly what I thought. I think it would have been great on CBS.
The thought of Pam going to Abu Dhabi was just silly.

Victoria wasn't asked. Susan did not want to do it. We interviewed the producers about this.
Was Susan ever asked to return for the final episode of the original Dallas and the 2 reunion movies?
I believe for at least some of them yes.

Victoria Principal did not want to return. She said she said goodbye to Pam years before on the original series.
The only way she could come back is if it was all a dream. It would be great for Christopher but bad for Bobby cause he has Ann now
Well, not necessarily. They could have said Pam was in a coma for 20+ years or that she was held captive somewhere.
Victoria moved on from the show decades before. She didn’t need to bother
